I Praise God for the beautiful wild flowers that grow along the path when I ride my bike to University.
I Praise God for a mother who wakes up early in the morning, studies hard for her Masters's Degree, takes care of her family, and still finds time to surpise me with breakfast on mornings when I'm dragging my feet and grouchy.
I Praise God for having my siblings be my best friends. heart
I Praise God for allowing me to discover this AWESOME online Christian community! ^^
I Praise God for my pets...my three lovely kitties, my little dog, and my russian dwarf hamster, who let me know every day that they need and love me, and give me joy and laughter with their prescence.
I Praise God for providing me with all I need and then some.
I Praise God for all the lovely things He has given me, and those I can't think of at the moment! ^__^ heart

Among many things, I want to praise God right now for a man named Vic Mignogna. Without him, my faith probably would have died. I wouldn't see how you can balance yourself as a person with what you love to do. I wouldn't see how God has a plan and how something that seems to me as self indulging as voice acting can help touch the lives of so many people. How by touching those lives, how God will send them to you and give you the opportunity to help them.
Now after who knows how long of not reading my Bible, I'm going to go sit down and have some devotions.

i praise God for friends. those who light up my day and make me feel all good again, without even trying. thats how much they mean to me. for making each day special and unique and different.
for family who loves me and shares all they could with me. for the boundary of love is so strong that we could share anything and give back without demanding anything.
for the unconditional love that i would have for eternity.

I praise God for saving me by His divine grace. what a privelage it is to know that God has given me soo much and yet i deserve so little. Especially Him saving someone who was the last person to deserve it.

I praise God for the friends he has given me in times of need, for never ever leaving me, even when I left him, for putting up with my whining, and for the heart that I have.

I praise God for the ability to walk and for a wife and family that love me despite my flaws.
For those of you who don't know my story:
In August of 1997 I had just transferred into North Carolina State University. I was fairly active for a computer geek. Even when I owned car I still preferred to bike everywhere (partly for the exercise and partly because bikes don't use gas). I also lifted weights regularly. Thus I was in pretty good shape considering how abysmal my diet was at the time.
On my way back to my dorm after my morning classes one fateful Tuesday a car suddenly pulled out in front of me. My bike collided with the left front fender and launched me over the hood. I finally slid to a stop almost 30 feet away.
The force of the impact shattered one of my vertebrae (T4 for those who know what that means) and damaged the ones near it. The doctors decided to fuse my upper thoracic spine (the thoracic vertebrae are the ones to which your ribs are attached) to avoid future problems.
Between the trauma from the accident itself and the subsequent surgery I am now in constant pain. According to medical science I should be at least a paraplegic after the trauma my body has suffered and I am "lucky" to have survived the accident at all. But I'm not dead and I'm not even paralyzed. That, for me, is all the proof I need that God has big plans for my life.

@ kitsunegami:
My good friend, Greg, was born with a spinal injury and for all his life he hasn't been able to sit for more than 3 minutes. But Greg has taught me that even though we go through trials God never gives us more than we can handle. biggrin

It's hard to put so much into words but I'll say some-I praise God for everthings he's given me, loving me enough to sacrifice his own son so I can be forgiven, always being by my side, forgiving me for my sins, being a wonderful friend, guiding me, helping me to correct my mistakes, giving me my friends and family, and the simple things that make life great biggrin
