Kyo sat on a branch among the leaves of a weeping willow, the tree itself giving him the opportunity to keep and eye on the den and the river. He smiled a bit to himself at how tired the pups looked, guessing that Loba had made them work. The tree was on the same side of the river as the den, but a little distance away toward the waterfall. The sound of it only reached his ears if he concentrated on it, but he stretched himself out along the branch, listening to the wind gently rustle the weeping leaves.

Kyo watched the wolf for awhile, curious as to the extent of its efforts. He was a protector at any rate so he rested his head down on his paws, his tail sagged underneath the branch, twitching now and than as he watched movements throughout the clearing in front of the den.

Kyo kept watch outside, watched the other dissapear into the woods. The nymphs were playing out in the distant glade again, their wings flashing with the light of the sun now and then. The wind ruffled through his fur, he felt like he could finally relax for the time being.

Shi shi moved into the forest till she got into a small clearing in the trees there she sat and waited. SHe seemed slightly anxious as her tail twitched impatiently. She squinted as a bright orange glow like fire neared the clearing. She cocked her head to the side "Mesh......?" then into the clearing you could see an orange and black fox with a patch of black fur over her left eye. Hanging daintly from her mouth is what seemed to be a blotchy purple looking squirrel, that was radiating the odd orange glow. Shi shi trotted foward "What's happened to Tint?" Mesh whom was seemingly the fox put the squirrel down infront of her. "He ahs gotten on the clans trash list, it's horrible what they ahve been doing ot him." Shi shi nuzzled and began to lick the squirrel 'til it opened it's eyes and sat up. The few bloody bites and scratches on him were beginning to cloe up. Shi shi turned her attention back to Mesh "so what are the new movememnts of the clan?"

As the pups cleaned themselves up Loba bent forward to lap up some water.

"Loba! Loba!" croaked a voice.
She lifted only her muzzle out, water dripping, "hn?"
"Loba! Loba!" Croaked again.
She looked around and saw from the shiny and slippery rocks was an equally slimy toad.
"Helly, Doat." She said cooly, "What brings you here today? I don't often see you these days." She said quietly.
"Something is afoot!" He croaked.
She cocked her head, "Are you sure that it isn't your imagination? Nothing has been affot for several months now." She responded softly.
"No! No!" He croaked louder jumping from his small water spot.
"Well its no use telling me. You're better off telling Kyo or Cal or Liddy themselves."
"Kyo would eat me!"
Loba remained quiet. "I"m only a sitter I don't take part in battles and fights." She said wagging her balding tail a little impatiently as she continued her drink.

"hm..." Loba hummed from deep within her throat. "Doat here said something is afoot, Master Cal." She said. "And don't worry too much about the pups, I think they've learned their lesson for today." she assured him

Doat croaked and side stepped nervously, "Lord Cal. Something is AFOOT! Something isn't right in the neighboring forests...there is an erie feel....a threatening whisper that is floating through the humus and trees of the forest!...I know not what...but I am not the only one that feels it...everyone that I know from my trips up and down the river, steams and brooks feel it too!" He croaked loudly.

"Are you sure it isn't the annual Cold Water Rush from the mountains?" Loba asked softly?

"NO! IT IS NOT!" He croaked loudly at Loba, "Lord Cal you believe me right? You will take it into consideration, right?" He asked hopping excitedly.

Arch peered over the top of the river, this was HIS favorite spot. He could see everything that is to come near the falls. As he looked toward the left, he could make out Shi shi the healer speaking to what looks like a black fox and a squirrel of some sorts. To his right, he spied Loba, a frog he knew to be called Doat, and Lord Cal. They were positioned at the base of the river a little farther down. "Something's up, I can feel it." His fur stood on it's ends near his neck. Arch felt as if he should be expecting the worst for some reason.

Doat puffed his throat pocket and croaked loudly as if he was soldier. "Lord Cal, I will do just so!" And with that he jumped into the steam and swam away.

Loba watched Doat get carried away, "Master Cal....you don't really believe something is up? The pact our clan and the other clans was made on quite solid ground." She said quietly to him.

"PAPA!" shouted Cota as he leaped out of the water and ran to his father. "PAPA! HI!! what are you doing out here?!" He asked as he leaped up and took hold of one of his father's ears. "grrr..." He growled playfully.

"DAD!" Called Bota, he too darted out of the water and leaped up and hung off his father's side. "HI DAD! Feeling better?" with his tail wagging excitedly.
