Thinking she heard another twig snapping, Catori squeaked, turned around, and ran. But she hadn't seen Oliver there so she ended up running straight into him and toppling backwards. She screamed slightly on impact then 'oof'ed when landing on the ground, her skirt hiked up her thighs. Catori nearly scrambled away until she saw what she had run into. "Oh...Oliver...I..I'm really sorry!"

Oliver blinked when she ran into him and then bent down to help her up. "It's okay. Really." He smiled softly and took her hand, helping her to her feet. "Cat.. What're you doing here? ....Are you okay?"

Catori took in a steady breath. She didn't want to go sappy on him so she needed to calm down. Looking at his hand, she nibbled at her bottom lip then took it to stand up. She then released it quickly, not trusting herself to hold on, and dusted herself off, her eyes avoiding his. "I...well, Aiden got mad and I came here and I'm ok and I'm sorry again," she muttered out, talking a little faster than she normally would.

Oliver pulled her into a tight hug and his voice softened. "You ran away? Are you sure you're okay? You're brother doesn't know you're here? How long have you been here?" His voice brimmed with concern, his face turning a bit pinker than normal.

Catori's breath caught in her throat when he pulled her against him. She could feel the heat rising to her face so she had to tell herself how silly and stupid she was being. "I dunno... I mean, I'm sure he knows...but he's mad at me... I dunno how long I've been here..." She took in another deep breath. Because of falling asleep a while back, and because of the constant darkness of the forest, Catori had lost track of time. "W-what are you doing here?"

Oliver shook his head slightly and sighed "Cat, you need to go home. Or come to our's if you don't want to go home yet. You can't stay out here. It's not safe.." He smiled weakly at her and kissed her cheek softly "I'm so glad you're okay... I was just wandering around."

Catori prayed that he wouldn't see her blush. You're being stupid Cat... Stop acting like a silly child... "Go home...with you?" She glanced up for a moment then looked back down and shook her head. "I'm...no, I'm ok here. It's not so bad...so long as you block out the noises." An animal rustled in a few bushes not far from where they stood and Catori tried her best not to tense. When had she gotten so wimpy around animals?

*Glitch wandered through the darkened forest, his green eyes casting looks to each corner of the woods, it had been awhile ago when he went in search for Riaka, though to no avail.
Though now something was quite different about Glitch.. Horns peeked out within his brown and now green streaked hair, strange markings upon his face, that clearly were not there before, now showed up as dark as they could get, tattered dragonic wings folded at his side, a long, strong tail wisped around in a irritable manor while the clothes that were once kept neat and tidy, were now tattered and torn, like they've been mauled by some rabid dog. A small winged orb accompanied him through the forest, giving off a bright glow as he stepped over fallen branches and dried up leaves.
The look on his face was blank, while the tips of his 'fangs' peeked through his parted lips, as he suddenly glanced off to the side, the voices of boy and girl and not to far off, maybe they could point him the right direction. And if not, he could always take flight to the peaks of the trees and find his way around that way, though it was quiet hard to find an opening in these woods..
Stumbling over a log he regained his balance by spreading his dragonic wings and giving one or two steady flaps, though it carried him through the bushes and out to where the two he had hear, stood, not before he had created loud rustling, loud enough to fit an animal the size of the bear.*

Please... You can't stay here.. You could stay in one of our extra bedrooms... Or in Alex's?" He felt her stiffen a little and he rubbed her shoulder. "Please.." He brought his hand up to her face and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Oliver..." She felt tears stinging at the corner of her eyes and could only think of how childish she was being. She had told herself that she had grown out of crying years ago but here she was trying to hold them back. Shutting her eyes tight to keep the tears from spilling over, Catori jerked slightly when he brushed his hand against her cheek. "No! Y-you like someone else and I'm being so stupid about this..." She pulled away and turned around. "I'm not ready to go...I can't go...not until I get rid of these stupid emotions..."

"Then I'll stay with you." He said in a firm but also gentle voice. He was being extremely stubborn and he knew it. I like her so much.. And then she didn't like me back..? And now she does... Do I like Tasi as much as Cat? Yes. No.. No.. Maybe just the same? He looked at the ground as tears started forming in his eyes. He blinked them away took Cat hand. "Hun... Don't cry... Please... I have liked you ever since we met and I don't want to hurt you, Catori. I like you more. I.... I just thought you didn't like me back and.. I... I tried to ignore my feelings.. F-forgive me?" He bit his bottom lip and sighed.

Merryn entered the forest disgusted and dejected. Looking around for signs of life she spread her wings open and tested them to check if they would work. Launching herself into a tree she settled down into the crook of the tree and it's limb and settled back to gently listen to the voices around her.

Catori looked up at him, feeling as if she'd hit rock bottom. She knew how terrible she must sound and knew that should never have spoken up about her crush. "Oliver..." She took in a deep breath, desparate to re-gain control of her emotions. "Please... Go back to Tasi... S-she cares about you..a lot..and I know if you..we...she'd be horribly upset. It's my fault that I-I didn't speak up b-before... She shouldn't have t-to pay for that..." Feeling his hand holding hers was nice...and it took a lot of effort to pull it away. "It's just...not fair to her..." To anyone...

"D-do you want me too? B-because I will if... if you want...." He looked and her and sighed then looking at the ground and running a hand through his hair and blinked at the ground. He was about to turn around hesitated, kissing her cheek and sighing, and walked down the stream, back to where he was before and picked up his bag, walking out of the forest.

Catori watched him go, her tears finally breaking through. "Oliver..." His name come out as only a whisper, her hands clutched to her heart. She felt like she did the right thing...but it hurt her terribly to do so. She wanted to run after him, to cling to him, to have him comfort her...but she didn't. It's all my fault... I always do this... "You'll be happier with her, Oliver..." With that she turned and began to walk deeper into the forest. She hoped that the darkness would swallow her up...
