Lennea closed the door behind her and threw her wallet to the side.
"Hey! Old Man! I'm home!" She hollered only to be replied by silence. She started to search her home for any sign of Old Man. (Yes, she does actually call him that)She found a note on the refigerator door written in chinese characters.She took a quick glance over it and leanred tht he had gone to the hospital for a check-up. She tossed the note aside and flopped on the couch.

Samuel swallowed; he wasn't used to talking with people so directly. Automatically he lowered his eyes, shivering as he politely remained outside. "E-excuse me m-miss, b-but do you think I-i could earn a c-cup of c-coffee..?" he asked quietly and timidly, knowing the likely hood of her saying yes was very low. He prayed the cold wouldn't make him have an attack in front of her.

She was more worried about the boy at the door than Adrain. She walked over to the coach and took a folded blanket over to him. She brushed off his sholders and covered him with the hand made 'loom. "To earn it, you mustn't stay outside any longer." she said in a soft tone.

Sam blinked, a look of blank shock on his face. He wasn't used to people being so nice, or having them even touch him without their hands being balled up into fists first. Quickly his pale cheeks turned a bright red color as he scrambled for words. "Th-th-th-thank y-you, m-miss!" he said, trying to straighten up as much as he could, but his body continued to shake like a leaf.

She hurried him inside and sat him down where she was once seated. She ran into the kitchen and made some coffee for him. When she came back out she relize dthat she wasn't as anti-socail as she was befor christmas vacation. "Here, I's fresh." she said as she gave him the cup of coffee. "I hope you like it." she said with a small smile on her face. She walked down a long hall and into a small closet. She took out a small black box with a white cross on it. When she returned to the "Lobby" she opened it and took out 2 thermometers. She put covers on them so they wouldn't be covered in germs when she was done. She offered Samual to use one. "Please, I want to make sure that you're ok." she said welcomingly. She awaited his reply.

Samuel blinked, and before he had time to do anything else he found himself seated in a chair with a hot cup of coffee. He smiled delightedly, putting the cup to his lips as quickly as he could with his trembling hands to take a drink. "Mmm..." he said, giving the nice woman a shy smile before blinking at the thermometers. "A-alright.." he murmured quietly before carefully taking it and placing it in his mouth, obediently waiting for her to check it. Samuel watched the red stuff inch higher and higher in the glass tube, indicating that he did have a fever.

when it stopped she bent over and took it out of his mouth. "105.3" she said. "You're in no condition to be out there," she paused and looked out the window as the wind howled. "I don't think any of us should go out for a while." she said. She looked back at the thermometer. "Oh, I almost forgot. I'm Yuki. This is my house, and during Christmas break and on weekends, this becomes a small cafe. This is Adrain, and Cattra. We all go to the same school. By the way..." she shoved the second thermometer under Adrains tounge. "...I need to see if you're running a feaver too." she said as she walked off after. When she came back several minutes later she was holding 3 keys. She handed them each a key. "The key chain matches the color of the mat in front of your rooms. I'm not letting any of you out in this weather, not tonight." she said giving them all a key. She look at the thermometer. "99.5. That's low enough so tjhat I don't have to be worried, but I'm keeping my eyes on you." she said. She walked over to another chair and took a seat. She sat there for a moment awaiting for someone to speak.

He watches this and smiles. 'hmm..' he thinks to himself and continues to watch 'at least shes caring..' he blinks and takes a sip of his as well

Samuel blinked again, not at all surprised that he had a fever but more that she was letting him stay in her house. "B-but..." his brain scrambled for more words as he shyly looked at the other two on the couch before quickly looking at the woman again. "I-I can make some dinner.." he offered quietly, wanting to do at least something for them. Oh. he thought. My name. "I-I'm Samuel.." he said timidly, flushing at his late reaction.

"I like that name. Nice to meet you." she said. "Don't worry about the house thing. I have a nice sized house. It may not be finished yet, but it's almost done." she was a little emberassed at the thought of being the only female in the house. "I have dinner all set, don't worry." she said headed to the kichen. In about ten minutes she came back out with two small tin trays. On one of them was 4 plates, cups, bowls, and sets of chopsticks. On the other was Rice, curry sauce, and some tariaki chicken w/ B.B.Q. sauce, just in case someone didn't like spicy food. She sat them down and set the coffee table up like it was a table in a dining hall. She surved the food and went back into the kitchen for a moment. When she came out, she had a teapot, and a pitcher of water. She set them on the table and went back to the kitchen for two more things. 4 spoons, and a bunch of napkins. She set them on the table. "Dig in!" she said with a smile.

Samuel blushed at the complament, staring down at his cup of coffee as he fiddled with it lightly. He heard her get up and lifted his head to watch, wanting to help but soon she had everything set. At the sight of food his eyes widened a bit and he set his coffee down, doing his best not to be rude as he quickly picked up some for himself. He pressed his hands together while holding the chopsticks and quickly gave his thanks before digging in so fast that he probably was being rude. But he hadn't eaten in days, so he was starving, and the fact that it tasted so wonderful didn't help him any.

"I'm glad you like it." she said with a smile. "Most people do."
She began to dig in as well. Soon she was full. "That's the most I've eaten in a month, I swear." she said laughing. It didn't llok like much food, but for a girl as skinny as her, people would think she hasn't eaten in a month.
She quickly picked up her dishes and walked into the kitchen. She washed her dishes and peeked her head wout. "Any more dishes I can do?"

Sam finally finished off the rest of his food, having eaten all of it. Suddenly he was brought back to reality by her question. "O-oh, here, let me help.." he carefully picked up his dirty dishes then carried them into the kitchen, moving to start washing them despite the bandages on his arms.

He putts the chop-sticks in his mouth and with a flick of the wrist he snaps them apart. Slowly eating when the others finished he still had some left. Watching Sam getting up and leaving he continues to slowly eat taking his time. The food was very good, he has not had something like this in a while.

she leaned up agenst a wall, gawking at the bandages on his arms. "If you don't mind me asking...." she paused to choose her words. "What happened to your arms?" she asked in a timid voice. She heard a timer go off. "The Moon Cakes!" she ran ove rto the oven and put on oven mits. She smiled at the end result of her baking skills. "AHA! Success, I mad moon cakes without help!" she was happy about that. There were 8 cakes. 4 Whit glazed, and 4 Dark glazed. "Where is that glass tray?" she said looking through one of the cobards. "Ah! here it is." she said as she stood up again. She set the hgalf of the cakes on the platter. "The other four are ours, I'll be right back." she said stepping out and putting the platter on the table. When she walked back in she put one of the dark glazed cakes ion her mouth. "Why are you trying to help so much? If you don't mind my asking."
