It's why I never got a solo in my choir for six years- I don't have the guts to try out. Doesn't matter what people tell me. It's a wonder I got into our Select Ensemble this year, because you had to audition with sight-singing and a prepared piece...

It's a wonder I got into our Select Ensemble this year, because you had to audition with sight-singing and a prepared piece... I've gotten one at least every year of schooling
because my friends push me into them sweatdrop
(except elementary schools those don't count, plus my teacher had it out for me because of my religion)
But one year I did it because this cute guy got it
and it was two solos then a duet.
How dumb is that?
lol
But I dropped out of choir this year,
I'm going to take drama instead because like I probably said earlier
(but I repeat myself too much)
I want to be on broadway when I get older
and they have to act and sing.

This one is a duet from the musical Jekyll and Hyde.
In His Eyes
I am obviously not two people but they
are both girls and it was fun, hehe.
Also the begining didn't work out but I kept going anyway and the
rest is good.
Lucy and Emma sing this song.
No One Knows Who I am
Another song from Jekyll and Hyde,
This one is sang by Lucy,
I personally love the original cast of this musical and I could
NEVER do as good a job as any of them.
And since I recorded these last night listening to them again this morning
made me want to sing one more!

This was before warming up and I think it's pretty good.

I love this thread heart however my lack of mic is killing meh! Luckily I get to pic one out on friday. I love birthdays! So then you may hear me.
Don't excpect too much though, my voice isn't nearly as lovely as most of you guys! In fact I don't find it lovely at all... my friend begs to differ but I think thta is because as a friend she hears me differently then everyone else! so keep the music coming it is very lovely. 3nodding

Anyone seen Les Miserables? My city's community theater group is putting it on currently, we just started shows last week and we're running for another week yet.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to play Fantine, and I have a recording of myself singing I Dreamed a Dream. Let me see if the Yousendit link is still working...
Damn, it's expired. Well, I'm uploading it again, as well as myself singing 'Think of Me'...
Oooh, I have a recording of me singing Wishing... as well.. hmmmmm...
I sing Les Mis songs better than Phantom, Christine is too high for me. I'm a mezzo and her higher notes kill my throat. But I do try. wink
