Soy flew in no particular direction, her grip on the staff tight as she was wary of the artifact falling. It would do no good to destroy it, that would just as well rid any traces of trust she was receiving from Ashuri. Ashuri Briefs. She kept repeating the name over and over in her mind. Somewhere, just a hint, she would be related to this woman. They all were. What made her snap like that? Was it annoyance? Fear? Soy did not want to get hurt again, and she knew not whether how they would react to her coming. Why was she even here? Boredom? Selfish reasons that she couldn't even give words to? The Saiya-jin suddenly felt very alone, and she wished that the guys were here. Gohan with his understanding for her mood swings, his dark eyes understanding, full of knowledge that she couldn't even begin to fanthom. Serge with his arrogance, putting a light mood into anything. She remembered once he hinted on that he used to spy on the woman while he was in the spirit world. That earned him a hard slap across the face. And Ryoun... Quickly Soy wiped the man from her thoughts. No, she couldn't think of them, especially not him. She made her decision, and there was no reason to go back, just yet. Besides, she had a duty to keep to. Holding the staff tightly within her hand, feeling the drag of the wind against the shaft, she blasted off toward the location of her campsite.

"Alfheim.." she toyed with the name, muttering it to herself several times as if quantity would help her remember. "Yes, there is.. or should I say, was, such a place called Alfheim, though I'm afraid I can't prove its existence now. I lived near there in my youth, which was several thousand years ago, as you can imagine." Lythia leaned in closer, examining the locket carefully. The designs of the pommels seemed to be overlapping slightly, as if forming a cross... Back in her days, she remembered, the cross either symbolized the risen or the dead, but this boy's companions could not possibly have died or ascended yet, but... teleportation, maybe? "So you found the locket after finding the swords, now, when you found the locket, was it just left on the ground, or did you have to dig it up?"

Ashuri listened the conversation, but she eventually found herself laughing. "Forgive me, but... Unless there are other Elves than the sort with pointy ears and quick reflexes, then their race did not generate from Earth." she sighed, knowing neither would believe her, and she rummaged around in her pocket. Eventually, the half Saiya-jin woman found what she was looking for.... A Capsule Corporation capsule. "This, is where Elves come from." she said before opening the capsule to reveal a marvelous hologram of the planet Tarnbsei. "Oddly enough, this is my home, but I don't look Elven due to mixed blood." she replied with a smile, "But... perhaps this place you're talking about itsn't different from this... Perhaps it's simply a portal leading to Tarnbsei in the past. Such a portal would not be unheard of."
~~~
Trunks shrugged, opening the door and leading the way out. "Only my otosan and myself. But my wife and okasan should return shortly."
~~~
Po-ar smiled, "Well, you probably won't believe me but I'm from another planet." he whispered. "Thus the um, interesting quisine."

Morrigan giggled. "Well, I'm not exactly of this place myself..." she whispered, but kept it at that. What was she doing, revealing so much to a stranger? "What planet? What's it like? Cuisine doesn't look bad at all to me...."
Aera raised one eyebrow, nodding. "Don't worry. There will be plenty more with time." She didn't allude further to what she meant, but one could assume safely it had to do with extra company. Boy, was she in for it....

Soy reached her "home" in no time. The Saiya-jin landed amidst the gathering of shrubs and what was the remains of a previous campsite the night before. She sighed, looking at the staff that was in her hand, then at the machine hidden within the pile of foilage. "Why do I have to be the outcast?" she asked aloud, walking over to the contraption. Feeling around gently, she found the right button and pressed, smoke taking over the small area. Coughing, Soy blew away the smoke, quickly picking up the capsule of her time machine and pocketing it. "I need a shower anyway," she told herself next. "A real shower." Grabbing what she had left, Soy had already planned to find a place to stay today but due to unforseen events, she couldn't have done it yet. But now she did, incase they would come for the staff. Jumping up into the air again, Soy flew back to Western City.

I-ya, I against I, Flesh of my flesh, And mind of my mind, Two of a kind but one won't survive, My images reflect in the enemies eye, And his images reflect in mine the same time
I-ya, I-ya, I against I, Flesh of my flesh, And mind of my mind, Two of a kind but one won't survive
The Half-Elf yawned, sitting up and bed and streaching his arms up above his head. At the same time however, black wings from the being's back streached out as well. Kenryoku was tired, far more tired than he was used to. He yawned again, standing from the bed and walking over to the window. Pulling back the curtains, the man smiled. It was a beautiful day. Quickly, he donned a dark shirt and jeans, forgetting about socks and laced shoes. The moment Kenryoku was outside, he was in the air, spiraling up toward the sun as fast as possible.
Right here is where the end gon' start at, Conflict, contact 'n' combat, Fighters stand where the land is marked at, Settle the dispute about who the livest, Three word answer, Whoever survive this, Only one of us can ride forever, So you and I cant ride together, Can't live or cant die together, All we can do is collide together, So I skillfully apply the pressure, Won't stop until I'm forever... One! A door step where death never come, Spread across time til my time never done, And I'm never done, Walk tall, why ever run? When they move if I ever come? Bad man never fret the war, tell'em come General we have the stock, the mad fire burn
Higher and higher he climbed, seeming to blend in with the sun's glaring rays. Then, he relaxed, letting himself freefall. Kenryoku curled up in his own wings, allowing them to act as a cusion, before plunging into the lake near his home. A beautiful waterfall cascaded down the rocky cliffs to splash into the glistening lake. He came up for air, his wings allowing him even swifter movements in the water than one though possible. It was a peaceful day, a calm day. Until he remembered one thing.... His mission on Earth.
I-ya, I against I, Flesh of my flesh, And mind of my mind, Two of a kind but one won't survive, My images reflect in the enemies eye, And his images reflect in mine the same time,
I-ya, I-ya, I against I, Flesh of my flesh, And mind of my mind, Two of a kind but one won't survive,
Survive

(((OOC: Song used was "I Against I" from the soundtrack for "Blade II" by Mos Def. It's kinda like Ken's theme song of sorts.)))

Po-ar laughed, "My home is called Tarnbsei, and I'm the ruler of it. I'm here on Earth on vacation, visiting family and such."
~~~
Trunks looked to the mysterious being strangely, but shook his head, "I suppose you know everything, then?" he asked.
Aera raised an eyebrow, laughing a bit at him. "Trunks, no one knows everything, but I try. My lord insists on cultivating and absorbing as much knowledge about as much as possible. I read what I can. "
~~~~~~
Morrigan was intrigued, but she hid it as well as she could. "Here, visiting? What's so exciting about a place like this? Who are you related to?"

Leif raised an eyebrow, "That's an..intresting theory, and contraption. The locket was found before the swords. The team dug up the swords later. It's actually a little confusing because the swords seemed to be older than ruins and from a complelty differnt orgion. Tristan- our father thought that the swords were ancient relics or heirlooms in the time of the castle and probably had an influence it artwork there. There was a cathedral type place where they were dug up. I went back there after Maeve and Thom went missing and ended up here." He shook his head and sighed again. -------------------------------------
The twins meanwhile, were making a slow path out of the woods, comming at last to a long stretch of beach. Maeve took one look at the water and shook her head, "No way. I am not going anywhere near any body of water ever again." She stamped her foot determidly but gave an exhasperated sigh when sand flew up in her face and clung to her wet clothing, "I give up."
Thom however, was still examining his violin, apparently not convinced it hadn't suffered any damage. He plucked teh strings experimentally, then set his bow on and started to play a few chords.
He smiled at his sister's antics, and jerked his head as he started to walk as if saying, Let's go then, or I'm leaving without you.
((OOC: I don't have the faintes clue as to the geography here, so I'm kinda making stuff up. Feel free to correct me at any time xp ))

"You sure do ask a lot of questions." Po-ar said with a sigh, falling into one of the chairs at the small table. He gave his ice cream a lick before continuing. "My aunt Ashuri, who is ACTUALLY supposed to rule our planet, lives here with her husband and friends. I'm here visiting her, making sure she keeps out of trouble, and of course, giving her a breifing on what's been happening back home. Her name's Ashuri Briefs, her husband is son of the Brief's daughter, Bulma, who runs Capsule Corp."

Trunks shrugged, "Read anything interesting lately?"

Ashuri shrugged, putting the capsule away. "Well, portals are not unknown to me, my nephew can create them at will. Any Tarnb-jin possessing the ability to create them could have made one here and, if that Tarnb-jin could also manipulate the flow of space and time, it would be a sinch to make it travel into an ancient past. After all, TArnbsei is far older than the earth by at least a millenia."

Morrigan blushed slightly, embarassed, lowering her pale visage to sip at the coco-concoction, as I call it. "I apologize. It's rare I meet someone from another planet, let alone the ruler of one. So you're related to the infamous Briefs family.... I've heard plenty, but I cannot say that I've met them. I heard they're very nice people."

"Then perhaps you can help find them. But they may not even be on this palent. I just went off a hunch, by taking it, but maybe you know a way to find out for sure..?" Leif trailed off, his bright green eyes probing into Ashuri.

"Hai. Hai. They are, though maybe not really my aunt's cousin, Vejita-san. He can be a real pain, if you know what I mean. Think's he's all macho and cool." Po-ar laughed, "Hey! Why don't you come with me? You can meet them! Besides, Bulma-san's supposed to be fixing a huge meal together, she'd love to have one more over for dinner."

"I um....Sure." Morrigan knew she was acting weird. She was acting unsure, more outgoing... If her brother had seen her, even he would have questioned it. "Dinner sounds nice." She had only met this man today... She finished the coco-concoction of doom, standing up, leaving her bill and a tip. "When IS dinner, anyhow? And your aunt's cousin sounds familiar..."
