joeyluxton ThEndOfHeartache927 joeyluxton "WAIT!" screamed Christoph, he ran towards Luke and Areyah. "I haven't seen anybody in a while. I've had ammenisea and I can't remember very much. All I know is that my name is Christpoh Lacheart and, that I'm pretty skilled with a gun. Do you mind if I stay with you for abit?" asked a tired Christoph. Luke opened the door as he heard the screems and pulled Christoph inside. "Shut up!" he hissed. "We don't need any of those -what did you call them, Yuki? Legions? We dont' need any of those things knowing we're here..." What? What are you talking about? Have you seen anyothers? I've been alone for a while aendr not a' soul in sight! "They're all over the place. One of my neighbors- Mr. Espinoza- recently turned into a Legion. It sucks. What's worse is that I don't know what causes it."

"No," Luke said from his place on the floor. "Not quite. They're dead, yes, but they're still... alive. I can't explain it. They are like us in every way except... they don't have a life force. They steal ours so they can live once again. The real people that remain alive will become what they once were and I think they plan to..." he gulped. "If that's true, I think they plan to get rid of us."

Christoph pulls the shotgun from his backpack out and walks to the middle of the room. "Then lets fight! I don't know about you, but I'm not exactly ready to just roll over and wait to get picked off one by one." said Christoph looking around the room. His eyes turned to Luke, "Come on, let's just drive through em'!" he said to Luke, but then a cold chill went down his spine as he walked to the door. "Um, on seconed thought.." his voice seemed to trailed off as he walked back to a corner and sat down.

joeyluxton Christoph pulls the shotgun from his backpack out and walks to the middle of the room. "Then lets fight! I don't know about you, but I'm not exactly ready to just roll over and wait to get picked off one by one." said Christoph looking around the room. His eyes turned to Luke, "Come on, let's just drive through em'!" he said to Luke, but then a cold chill went down his spine as he walked to the door. "Um, on seconed thought.." his voice seemed to trailed off as he walked back to a corner and sat down. Luke nodded at the man as he sat down. "Wise choice," he said. "It's not gonna be as easy as you see in those stupid dawn of the dead or resident evil s**t flicks. This is the real deal, and it's way different." He cast a glance at his sister and she nodded. "They can drain your life force simply by looking at you," he said. "It's gonna be damn near impossible to stop this... whatever it is, without losing people. And with an attitude like that-" he gestured to Christoph "-you're bound to get killed."

Christpoh stood up "I guess you're right." he said as he walked to a window that was closed by blinds, "How many are out there?" Christoph asked as he opened the blinds. There was one of the legion right at the window, "WHOA!" screamed as he saw that there was many coming. Christoph quickly shut the blinds. Suddenly through fear, he became angry. His power began kicking in, if he gets to angry he will gain massive strength and won't stop until his oppenant or himself is dead. "Anyone got a stressball?!" he said as he eyes slowly became red.

Luke raised an eyebrow at Christoph and look around for anything that could be used as a stress ball. As he spotted a glass vase, he walked to it, picked it up, and melded it into a soft sphere, tossing it at the man. He then peered out the window himself to come face to face with on of the "Legion." Slowly, he raised his shadow slightly off the ground and let it go through the crack between the front door and the floor, around the building, and around the thing's throat, raising it up in the air and ultimately breaking its neck. He then let his shadow release the Legion and it fell to the ground multiple stories below with a sickening crack. In the blink of an eye, Luke's shadow had returned to the ground beneath his feet.

Christoph tried to calm down and it eventually worked. The crowd looked a little frightened, so Christoph explained what was going om. "I'm Christoph Lacheart for those of you who don't know and, well, I have this 'power' to change into the kind of demonic state when I'm mad. When this happens I kill everything around me. I left that part out about what I did remember. I was hoping it wouldn't come up." stated Christoph. He looked at Luke and smiled, "I guess I'm not alone with these new powers of mine."

"And that was my favorite vase," Yuki muttered. He stalked over to the window to look at the shadow of the Legion creature. "Huh. Guess it does work," Yuki thought aloud. "Well, we have a safe zone, as long as I remember to recite that incantation."

"No, you're not. I can manipulate shadow and molecular structure. My younger sister-" he gestured to Areyah, who waved slightly "-has telepathy, premonitions, and can manipulate electricity." Luke looked around at the rest of the room, as if waiting for them to respond. As he waited, he said to Yuki, without looking at him,
"What do you mean 'incantation?'"

Kyle looked out from behind the alley to see if the man was following him, but there was nobody to be found. "Ok. He's gone." He started to walk away, but he ran into this lady. "Oh excuse me maam." The lady gave him an evil stare. Kyle started to feel a little funny. "What the hell is going on? What are you doing?" The lady didn't speak. The funny feeling began to worsen. "Get away from me!" Kyle yelled. He kicked her back, and then started running in the opposite direction. However, something was wrong and he couldn't run very well. He started to get really tired. He looked back and the lady was following him. Kyle turned around and started yelling, "SOMEBODY HELP ME! PLEASE!"

"I do a bit of research here and there on the occult, and I found a protective chant in one of the books I'd been reading. I'd cast it every night, just for good luck, but I didn't think it would work. It supposedly keeps evil spirits out of your home. And you know as well as I that that thing outside should've walked through the window as soon as it saw Christoph, there."

The horde of Legions that had been outside the window looked at him as he yelled, and he returned their hungry ********," he breathed. He cast his glance around for anything that may help. Finally settling for the shadows scattered about on the ground, he lifted them all up into a massive ball. His eyes seemed to slightly glow a deep black-purple as the ball hurtled to the Legions, scattering them about the ground. The shadows became untangled and each took one of the soulsuckers, lifting them from the ground to an insane height and dropping them. All hit the ground at once with a massive, sickening crunch. "Come on!" Luke yelled at the man, already heading back for the apartment.
