She bowed her head toward the man from where she knelt. "Pleased to meet you sir. My name is Delfa." She paused a moment then, suddenly looking between Turin and Yuki with slightly widened eyes.
"Wait...Elves? The two of you are elves??"
She seemed to light up at that thought. "Wow! This is wonderful! You're the first elves I've met on my journey so far! I didn't think I would meet one of you so soon!"
A strange comment perhaps, if one would take in the fact that Delfa herself bore similarly pointed ears.

Turin cocked an eyebow and gave her a curious look, the comment was most definately off. Where had she come from that she hadn't ever seen an elf? Maybe from a small village in the mountains to the north or some small town deep in the forests of this world. He shook his head nad gave a nod to the intruduction, retracting his hand from Yuki, seeing she was not taking it.
"I mean not to correct you but I'm only half-breed. Father is an elf and my mother was a human I've been blessed with fairness of an elf, tallness of a human, and the wit of the two. Not to mention my ears do not feature so a prominaint point as yerself and lady Yuki." Turin commented, gesturing toward his ear in a slightly joking manner.
"A fine compilation indeed." He finished with a chuckle.

Dorothy tried to focus on every conversations but it strained her ears. She decided to rotate around the room. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the fox-like lady shaking an elven lady's hand. Why would two people shake hands unless they are strangers? She decided to listen closer. Very softly she hear the word Dra'an. Such a strange word, I think I've heard it before, but where? She dug deep into her mind, to try to remember.

Delfa blinked at Turin's speech a bit. Her attention was focused on him now, and not so much on Yuki.
"Half? Oh! So you're like ME, then! My dad was an elf too! That's why I have these eyes. And why I have this eye."
She pointed to her left eye, which was a deep amber yellow. If he paid attention, he would notice that the other eye was completely different. Her right eye was a deep dark blue, with no pupil visable.
She placed her hands on the grass and leaned forward in his direction slightly, in a prodding manner, as she continued speaking.
"I'm looking for him. Have you seen him?"

Yuki blinked twice. "I missed something hwere. You're both half elfs and I'm... an elf. No wonder why I feel so short!" she said smacking herself in the head. "OW! The cut. I feel so stupid." she felt so small.

((How tall is Yuki? Delfa's only 4' 7"))
Delfa watched as Yuki smacked herself in the head. "Hey! You shouldn't do that!" She said this in a genuine expression of concern. "You just bandaged that up. It'll start bleeding again."
She then looked to Turin. "You said Al'Diku is about four kilometers from here? We should be able to make it before sunset, right?" She looked back to Yuki again. "We should help you to town so you can rest someplace for the night and heal that injury."

Delfa offered her hand to Yuki. "I don't know if you were planning to go to Al'Diku as well, but you at least should go there until your wound's healed. After that, you don't have to stay there if you don't want to."
Delfa smiled in a friendly manner to Yuki as she spoke, her hand still held out to for her to take.

She looked at the two women, and then around the inn "Do you think someone else here will join us?"
((Hey, guys, I'm going away the day after tomorrow, wednesday, for my summer vacations, and I'll be away for a REALLY long time - 2 weeks more or less -. I've asked Rikusgirl to take over my character in the meantime, but if someone else wants to step ahead, I'll be glad. My last post will probably be tomorrow.))

Dorothy searched her mind untill she finally remembered. She hadn't heard the word, she'd read it. It was the name of the monster who set a fire to her elven home. How could she have forgot of that horrible name. I must find him now, if they know where he is I will kill him. Dorothy stood up and walked towards the group.

Delfa nodded. "Alright then. Perhaps you can show us the best way there, then." Delfa rose to her feet and and pulled Yuki by the hand to help her up with the minimal strength she currently posessed. Once Yuki stood, Delfa looked up at her with a blink of her eyes. "Hey, you're not small at all."
