"Well... Hmm. Oh come on, they need their fill from..wherever they been."
She had to remain as if she did not know what exactly happened. Continuing on, Rynira got to her feet in a more sturdy manner.
"Us Hunters are probably going to catch our own meal. A rabbit or two. We don't eat too much, though I can't say that for Kaiden..."
At the mention of her adopted brother's name, she calmly looked up, as if thinking about it in a carefree manner. As she thought about him, she wondered again why she was tracking this younger one in the first place. It was curiosity she supposed, since normally, she would not speak this much in public. She had always had qualms about doing so, thinking it best not to establish great amount of attachments. She had to snicker lightly under her breath. She couldn't think that properly since she became the adopted sister of Kaiden.
Now nodding to the youngling, she thought that it would be alright to stray to the bush that the dress was hiding in. Rynira thought that it was a bit strange that Celena's human-like form wasn't exactly used a lot, so why did she possessed clothes for that? Her own favorite form was that of a human, because of her night visits. If the elder female wolfen knew of the changes Celena was undertaking, she would've definitely helped since she was forced to learn to take immediate change through forms in dire situations. But with a sigh, she tapped her nose against the front leg of the wolfen before jumping back and raising her head, her eyes closed as she grinned more.
"If you need any help, you could ask, you know. Just because you might not be as high up as Vischer, Erral or the rest of the Elite, there are still wolfen who would help you."
Rynira had the urge to state that out, especially of the knowledge that Celena was smaller than most of the wolfen her age. She didn't want that to get to her. When thinking about all this, Rynira was amazed at how caring she could be. But at the same time, she scolded herself for that silently. Nodding once more to the female, she soon slowly began to leave Celena be, but still welcoming the conversation if the other one wanted it.

They set siege to part of the city. Celena said without much thought feeling a little boastful about her knowledge of having seen it first hand. But thinking about it reminded her of the near miss with that arrow. A city she wished she could see from the inside. A place she wished she could roam and learn of all it's curious wonders. Of course she didn't tell many people about such dreams, knowing what they might say in reply.
Rabbits are good, I caught one for myself earlier. Wait, I mean... Her voice trails off as she realizes she rather gave herself away nicely to the very notion that she'd been running around when she wasn't supposed to be. Having noticed Rynira edging closer to her stash Celena watches her with pale almost unsure eyes.
She had been dealing with these transformations pretty much on her own since hitting her first century. Most of the other females shooing her away since she wasn't theirs. She is somewhat taken aback by the older wolfen's words. I did ask, they told me to get lost since I wasn't their cub. She answers seeing no point in really dancing around it now that it was more or less in the open between them. The elders gave me a few things but other than that all I get out of them are lectures about not straying.
She was beginning to feel somewhat grumpy and this really was a sensitive subject for her. When she'd been younger she felt frustrated with not being able to do what the rest of her age group seem to be learning quickly from their mothers. On top of that it brought about more ridicule, than her already small form called for. She gives her head a shake to clear the clutter of unhappy memories and looks over at Rynira pushing herself up and approaching her slowly.
Would you really? She ventures to ask the soft voice in Rynira's head sounding a touch hopeful.

When she heard the hopeful voice inside her head, the large white wolf stopped her foot tracks. Slowly turning her head to Celena, Rynira's examining eyes took in her every being. Here was a wolf that actually had a lot of potential, just wasn't given the chance. For herself, she could recall the way of not feeling accepted. Was that what she was feeling? Nevertheless, even with the sound of hope in her voice, something had been neglected in Celena's life.
Steadily, she turned the rest of her body, her rear slowly planting itself down on the ground. The way the muscle at her face was relaxed showed no expression as she now contemplated on the situation. There was the fact that allowing Celena to come close to her might be a hazard, especially since Vischer seems to have an eye on her, for who knows what. Returning on her paws, she came closer and then bent her head down a bit, becoming eye leveled with Celena. This was a way of respect to her, for if the eye levels are the same, one could see each other's actions if they were a potential threat, and vice versa. It was just her spirit performing this small habit of hers.
"One could never learn unless facing the rough path."
She raised her head now and grinned down.
"I was told that by a Crucian, more than a century ago. But that is our secret. Remember that."
Circling around the other wolfen, she came to her side and bumped the back of her front leg before walking forward. Without even looking back, but grinning nevertheless, she called out to her mind.
"I'll teach you a few things. But we need to improve some aspects about you. Also. If another offer comes along, you comply with them. I'm not the greatest teacher, but I could teach you a thing in two in hunting and shifting. The best thing, Celena...is that you don't have to be my cub."
As she continued walking back over to the pack, she showed her beaming expression to the younger one before nudging the air towards the wolfen home.
"Come on. First thing is first. Don't become isolated from the group to the point that anyone could kill you."

Celena felt shock at Rynira's words. You've spoken with those humans? She asks her voice full of wonder. Once again her curiosity is peaked and she has the urge to ask questions rapid fire. Instead though she blinks at the older wolfen's actions wondering for a moment what she was doing. Having not been around Rynira much she never realized just how different the huntress was from most of the other females in the pack.
She glances around a moment. She really hadn't thought she'd wandered that far away from the pack. She was still in the clearing, just keeping to herself. Of course right now, that was sort of the plan. I think I'll stay here. She finally replies giving her head a little shake, causing her white fur to shift back and forth. If the elders see me I'll have to sit through a very long lecture and I hate sitting through long anything. Her tone was half joking and half serious. There were other reason but she chose not to disclose them. The biggest one being the alpha male that was still probably waiting on her appearance.
It wasn't like she couldn't defend herself if need be. She might be small but she has learned in two centuries to use that to her advantage. On top of that she felt slightly active at the moment, having slept earlier. Active and maybe a bit hunger. If she could just slip away she could catch herself a little light breakfast and do a little exploring until someone noticed she was gone. Then of course it would probably all come crashing down around her.
Her mind was already churning through ideas and small plans, trying to decide which would be the best for this little adventure. She might as well get in as much adventuring as possible before someone manages to track her down. She looks toward Ryniar before coming to a decision. Catch you later! She called sounding extremely cheerful suddenly before turning and taking off toward the tree-line and vanishing into the forest.

After Erral left, Vischer started to head off in the direction he had seen Celena had wandered off to, however to his demise, the Elders were there... It seemed like he might be able to sneak by unnoticed as how she probably did, but he did not want to risk being seen by them. No he was not afraid, it was just that he wanted a few moments to himself to rest and take in all that had happen that night, and also get a chance to speak to Celena. So instead of proceeding after her, he took an opposite route, much longer, but much more private.
In the course of doing so, he actually set himself quite off from the pack, making himself wander around the forest, it was definitely the place to think when he needed to. He remembered use to take these trails all the way to the ocean and streaming rivers, where his father showed him how to catch fish. Now though, if he followed these same trails, they would lead to the Crucian city. He let out a small sigh, wondering what next of their beautiful land that would be taken away? Well it was no longer going to happen. With what happened last night, the victory that he feasted upon, it would stop the Crucian's from advancing their land for now. They would not dare to collect lumber from the forest, now that they know there is a threat besides the night walkers, Brin, perhaps they will start counting this place off as a loss of profit and head back home. It did seem that humans considered money to be the power of everything, and so with their greed, he hoped they would leave. If not, at least for the clans current cubs, they would at least get a chance to see the forest for what it is now. Celena would still be able to explore the beauty of the world, and get a craving for it, and after seeing her venturing to the battle, he knew there was something in her that he saw in himself.
It was odd though how luck seemed to intervene, as he continued to walk and think to himself, he started to pick up a scent. Yes he knew who it was... "Celena..." he whispered it to himself as he started to head towards the smell. He could not help but feel how fate tied things together, and off in the distance he could see her, soon he would be next to her... As he approached though, he smelt another presence... another whiff... ah it was the female huntress. He knew her scent well, perhaps almost more than most, not because he was after her in any sense, but because she too like Celena was different than the others. She was the only female huntress of the group, and that was quite an accomplishment, he should tell her of that. Suddenly he found himself torn deciding which path he would follow, but remembering he would have to speak with the elders soon, he decided to head off towards Celena. Once he was within ears reach of her, he spoke out to her, "Celena, ah I've found you. What luck stumbling to you out here, but I guess you had the same idea as I did, a stroll in old nature." He hoped his words sounded not harsh, he did not want her to run from him again, but instead actually face up to him.

"Oh sweet Ifalna, do not let out such angry exertions in the air. 'Tis not good to have fumes around the wounded. Makes things worse."
One of the youngest of vampires in the Leibeis Clan strolled into the area that was littered with human bodies and vampires a like, though predominantly human. It was indeed a wreckage, and Akuchi knew that very well, but a smile was still implanted on his smooth young face. It was indeed a strange sight for someone to be so happy, since, underneath his protective large black cloak, his clothes were torn and his white hair that would normally glisten was covered with black and red blood. Gashes could easily be seen in his shoulders and arms, the biggest being at his side where blood still trickled downwards. But from how the sword at his side was used and with blood, it seemed he received the wounds by participating in the battle. All the more, he smiled as he knelt beside Ifalna and Jeane. He examined her with his silver-blue eyes and nodded every once in awhile. Smiling brightly, he clapped his hands together then began to rummage underneath his black robes, muttering while doing this.
"Ah ha! Here it is! It's what I've been giving the Crucians, we'll see if this works on her, yes? Might as well give it a shot! If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But! If it does, then it quickens the healing process! Better than being in the blistering sun, right?"
Without even waiting for an approval, Akuchi took out the bottle and poured a shot out, normally used for his own drinking pleasures. Once in was filled closed to the brim, he placed it down beside them and then got on his feet, bowing in a gentlemen fashion. Smiling at them, he then continued to go to the other Leibeis, specifically Vivi and Beren. When he reached there, he beamed at Amelia, nodded then examined the two of them. Though it may seem like he was just creating some nonsense with what to do, he had studied medical procedures before. So with a big, "Hmm..." he looked to the two vampires infront of him that were wounded. This time, he used a serious voice, though the smile eerily stayed.
"Can you still feel the pain? If so, we're going to numb the nerves. It'll help with the process. Sooo...if that's the case, we'll need either rope- though I don't prefer it- or really sturdy cloths."

Watching as Celena dashed away and was proceeding to explore on her own accord, Rynira just shook her head then began to go over to the pack. When a whiff in the air entered her sense of smell, she ceased her advances and her eyes closed half way. It was Vischer, she was sure of it. His scent and the other Elites were the only ones outside of her adopted wolfen family that she forced herself to know, for it could mean trouble if ever they were near her in her nightly visits. Raising her head, she sniffed the air again and realized that it was going towards Celena, rising her curiosity as to why he needed her, but she forced those to the side. She is just going to let it sort out and possibly ask later.
Continuing into the clearing with all the other wolfen and the feast that was pretty much starting, her eyes scanned around. The Elders were more than likely going to question about their victory and know more about it, so she would join them along with the other Hunters possibly later to pick up some information. But for now, she went over to the small area of raised land where the other Hunters remained and laid around, watching their clan with great pride. Seeing Kaiden, she came up to him and spoke to him through to his mind.
"I'm heading out for awhile. If I have time, I'll join you in dinner."
The larger wolf blinked at Rynira, his ear flicking from side to side. He had always been wondering what Rynira was doing when night strolled around, though any suspicions of treachery was disbanded on the night he found her increasing her speed through the trees. So with a heavy sigh, he pawed at her front leg before nodding in approval then returned to his rest and idle chatter with the other hunters.
After seeing that nod, the female wolfen wheeled herself around and exited out of sight of the clan, deciding a small walk to the lake nearby would do her good. The forest today was a bit restless. She deducted that it could be the heavy scent of blood in the air when they got too close to the razed city, but she could be wrong. Still, no matter how much the chaos was, everything was still beautiful. When she reached the lake, she came to the water's edge and stared into the clear waters. Without knowing it, she soon entered the water and submerged her whole body and fur.
"Mmm..."
Her eyes closed as she turned around and rested the underneath of her head against the bank. Most of the time, her mind would think of why she was doing what she was doing, but she randomly remembered when Soujii had used to wash the dirt out of her fur when she was sickly and weak. Even the slight mention of his name calmed her down, just like songs would. She had a lot to thank to the current-vampire so whenever she thought of him, her mission seemed so little to give into return. She wondered if the collar would call her to him tonight.

Celena weaves through the trees, slowing her pace to a walk. Her paws silently pad against the earth as she moves quietly away from the clearing. She knew these woods, these trees, she's been in the many times before. She jumps up onto a rotting log her pales eyes scanning an area she knew well enough already. She sits down her front legs holding her up as she watches the forest.
Yet, the unfamiliar deeper woods that she'd found herself in last night called out to her again. She felt a great urge to explore, to find a place she hadn't seen, hadn't been allowed to go before. A little snort of air escapes through her nose as she has to wonder just how long she'd be able to dodge the leader of their pack.
Her mind wanders back to the huntress who had approached her rather suddenly. Now that she thought about it, Celena realized she had acted no better than a cub craving attention. That wasn't like her at all. She felt almost foolish for her actions. So what if her mother wasn't around to teach her, that didn't mean she couldn't learn it on her own. She didn't need to depend on others, just to have their kindness turned against her. So maybe she shied away from the pack, but she had her reasons. Even if the elders didn't care for her curious and somewhat troublesome nature, the cubs seem to like her well enough. And for as long as she can remember, she had decided that was fine with her.
While sitting there Celena notices a small rabbit moving through the bushes, probably in search of food. Seeing the animal her hunger from before returns with a vengeance. She carefully hops down from the log landing on soft earth, crouching down immediately, hoping not to be noticed by her pray. She moves quietly along the ground drawing closer to the unsuspecting rabbit.
As she moves closer her claws drew out in preparation of her pounce on her pray. Suddenly the rabbit's head shot up and looked around. She hesitated watching the animal before deciding to press forward. The moment she moved to pounce the rabbit took off like a dart. Of course, having nothing better to do, she gave chase, her claws digging in the earth to help quicken her short stride. The rabbit darted into hallow logs and other things to try to keep her at bay. The moment she was about to catch up it, the animal suddenly changed direction.
Celena turns to follow but her momentum sends her sliding sideways. The claws of her front and back paws dig into the earth to stop her slide before she collided with anything. She stands there panting with the exertion of the chase, her tongue rolling in and out a moment. The rabbit is long gone by now and she finally gives up. Looking around she notices the forest is unfamiliar to her, and not very thick at all. Sniffing the air she picks up the faint scent of Aarin, one of the few members of the pack that she could identify by scent alone.
Heading in the direction that strengthened his scent, she walked slowly through the trees. Her eyes looking around to take in everything since who knew when she'd get to see this area of the forest again. As she walked a slight pain radiated from her front left paw. She sat back lifting her paw and flexing her claws, trying to see why it would hurt. Her eyes catch sight of a small twig that had apparently gotten jammed between her crawl and joint in her slide.
She laps at it with her tongue hoping to draw it out, before finally using her teeth and having to bite at it to free the annoying twig. She flexes her claws making sure nothing else had lodged inside before retracting them. When she starts to move again she picks up another scent in the air, a scent she had no doubt the entire pack knew. The scent of their leader. At the sound of his deep, but attention grabbing voice she freezes her head snapping around to watch him approach her.
For a slit second she thought about running, but honestly he could out run her with little effort. With a resigned sort of snort she sits her butt down almost tempted to lay down and trying to hide in the dirt. Of course that would be nearly as impossible with her white coat. Luck he says, she was pretty sure if it was, then it was bad luck. Vi... Vischer... Her minds stumbles over the name unsure of what to expect.

Ifalna kneeled by Jeane's side, silent as ever as the crackling of flames erupted all around her. The summer morning would soon be lit only by the sun, the flames dying out in their substance along the burnign bodies of the vampires and humans. And here, in her arms, she already planned her fate, something that would not damn her own life to live an eternity without her mate. She would stay here when the sun came up, and die once and for all with Jeane; when his breathing go faint, their bodies would turn to dust, a smile on her face, invisible tears down her cheeks. But at least they would've been happy together, right? No one said a vampire couldn't love. Yes, she loved him. Jeane, with his warm-heartedness, that she thought she would be able to hear through eternity, unless such creatures would come for them. Of course, they could've ran away, like the old love novels humans came up with at their desks. On a ship, out to see, to never drown, never burn, to never die. Together forever. Her mind was already set as she sat there. But that all changed as soon as soon as another figure came up, going on about the mixture in a bottle, applying it to Jeane.
After a few moments of such a thing happening, she stared at him, and back to Jeane, back and forth continually until she was finally understanding what was going on. Was there a real chance Akuchi could save him? All of her thoughts cleared as she nodded to him, getting up and quickly beginning to look around for any such material. Sturdy cloth. Ifalna immediately saw what she was looking for, or at least thought of it as she looked at the dead body of Crucian, lying in his leather armour with a sword still in his corpse of a hand. She rushed over to him, untied his leather armour quickly, and underneath it was a thick tunic that helped keep it un place and around his skin when he had still been alive. She quickly tore it off of the body, struggling for a few moments, until she had a good enough piece and hurried back over to Akuchi. Jeane was just then murmuring something.
"It hurts," He flinched, then continuing, "Just a little.. still."
"Jeane!" Ifalna hissed under her breath, kneeling on the opposite side of Akuchi, holding the cloth out to him with one hand without ever keeping her eyes off of Jeane. her free hand cupped his strong, pale, bleeding face, waiting for anything else to be said, then looking at Akuchi with a look of expectancy and hope.
Liefon hurried ahead to the group of Vampires ahead of him. It was the one from before, and two others; Theila and the shrouding Gunhei. Gunhei had the most horrible look on his face, shadowing his eyes the best he could under his hair, clutching a wounded human in his arms for an excuse. Liefon shot him a glance of sympathy, then turned to Theila and the other. "Is everyone inside?" With the streets cleared, and everything growing as silent as the night should be, he only hoped so. But he couldn't help but feel diminished, as well; his soul felt beaten down. He regretted to go and look inside where wounded vampires, in their now low numbers, would be standing there like Gunhei. Their mates lost, their brethren gone, defeated in their night, their terriotory. It was one of the worst defeats such vampires could face. If such a son of mine never left us, we would've been strong enough in numbers. Which was true, in it's own ways; the Brin were probably even larger than Liebeis right now. They could easilly fight off Liefon's coven. But still, they had the Crucians on their side.
"Everyone we could find, Lord." Theila answered in a soothing, quiet tone. Just then, Gunhei jerked around and started up the path to the open doors, where wailing of humans were beginning to call out in their cries as medication was applied to their wounds and bandages to their blood. Liefon only had to wonder why such things hurt, when Vampires ever rarely used such things to heal themselves, using the stealth of the night and the quiet slumber to do such things. he was hoping that most of them would be somewhat healed, or in better condition, by the following night. But he also hoped the creatures wouldn't attack in the day.
Liefon nodded for them to follow after the mourning Gunhei, stopping with the human still on his shoulder, to stand in a sideways stance as he stared out to the city that lit so carefully with fire, blood, and battle this night. WOuld it be the same the next night? Or would all of this be a memory? A nightmare reborn... he closed his eyes, shaking his head and he threw his head back to the sky, long, sliky hair falling about his body like an enveloping shadow. "Revenge... will be upon our claws. I swear as such." He stood there, for a few more moments, as if waiting for an answer, a sign from the moon, the stars, the night itself; but nothing came to Liefon this night but death. With a hevay heart, he turned quickly to follow his coven back inside the human castle.

"Mmm! Yes, this cloth will do!"
He smiled brightly at her and plucked the cloth out of Ilfana's hand. For a moment, he stopped, gazing at the two who were obviously in love. Love was a sensitive subject for him, one that he thought he never known but at the same time, is analyzing that with someone close to him. Shaking his head, Akuchi knew that he was supposed to show his worth and his loyalty, so with a cheery mood, he placed a gentle hand on the chest of Jeane.
"There, there. Yes, stay still."
Examining Jeane for a moment, he nodded his head as if knowing what to do then cracking his knuckles by lacing his fingers together and straining them, he went to work with the cloth. First, he wrapped the cloth around one arm, just a little bit above the elbow and pulled it a bit, going tighter and tighter until no time, the pain would've been felt but nerves starting to shut down.
"Stay with us, Jeane. Focus on Ilfana."
His eyes sparkling with determination now, he repeated the procedure to the next arm, shutting down the nerves. Once that was done, he placed the cloth to the side and began to take out a bottle of elixir. It was filled with alcohol that could cleanse the infection if there was one. He allowed this to pour, using a cleaner cloth to dab the liquid into the wounds. As he worked, he honestly did not know if this was going to work. He may create some good medical materials, but he wasn't sure if it was miracle material.
Sighing when he did the same process to the rest of the body, he placed everything to the side and cleaned his own hands of the blood that got onto his hands. Smiling proudly at his work, he took out a small bottle containing a runny red liquid and then handed it to Ilfana.
"I created this. It's one that replenishes blood. Even a small drops should be enough for him, if that is his state as of now..."

Ah it seems the fate bode well for Vischer, for she had actually plumped herself right down for him to approach her. It was about time that he was able to talk to her, and as she spoke to him, it was almost as if she was bummed out to talk to him, perhaps he had taken her from her little adventure. "Well," he gave a gnarling laugh that he sometimes did without even thinking about it, "looks like you're up and about, curious as ever, which pretty much answers my question if you were hurt or not." Indeed that was one of the main things he had to question her about, her safety, but not only that but also to see if her will would still drive her to be curious even in the face of danger, and that it was, but nevertheless he did not want her to get hurt. "I am glad you wanted to know about the battle last night, you trailed us really good, I don't think any of them even caught whiff of you, then again they weren't paying attention to you." Actually he knew for a fact they didn't see her, they would of told her to go back just like the elders did, yet was it really that bad? After all she could of died... "However you do know the elders do not like the young to travel on their own, for they know not of the ways of the world, and left unattended could get themselves in a fine mess, just as you did last night." He paused to let her reflect on those words before he continued, "You not only put yourself in danger, but the elite in danger, because as I saw you getting shot at, I had to improvise and draw the guards attention upon the elite and I..." Wait.. what was he doing?
No, this was not how he planned on talking to her, and knew he was coming on too strong with what he was saying, what a way to show her that her fear was indeed just about punishment, it was not what he had intended though. So with that he instead knelled down next to her, and started to speak softer, "I have to say though, the elite and I were drawing their attention enough anyway, so it was not like you were doing us any harm." A rather loud laughter came from him, and a smile plastered itself well on his face, hoping his now uplifted spirit would travel to her, "I actually rather enjoyed your company. It is not often to see a wolfen curious about things besides just wanting to join in on the action, so you caused no problem to us, and do not worry I will not tell the elders about it..." wait was he sending her the wrong message again? "Er, I mean, I will... um" for one of the first times he was actually not sure what to say, he did not want her to defy the orders of the elders, but he also undesrstood their reasoning... actually why not just tell her that?
"The elders have their reasons for what they say, I mean the Crucians and vampires are quite deadly. As you probably know, our territory actually stretched from here to the ocean, when I was your age I used to travel all the time, always curious about the land, and just grew such a great bond to it, everything was peaceful..." Vischer slowed for a second, this was the first time he really ever talked to anyone about his childhood, it was kind of odd, but he did not feel out of place telling her. "However this peace did not last, the Crucian's came in, just a bit before you were born, and they ransacked the forest claiming it as their land. At the time we would of been okay to share this land as theirs, but no, they pushed us back wanting it for them alone. Many wolfen were killed on that day, and because of them is why the elite are trained to handle war the way they are, and why the elders restrict pups from going out in and about the forest. They fear that you may die, and that is the last thing any of us want."
For a while there he realized he actually talked up quite a storm, he did not really leave her any time to reply at all, but he still wanted to get a little bit more in before he finished so he continued for but a moment, "So do not think the elders are there to pick on you, no they are there to protect you because they think you can not handle yourself to explore," and here was the sealing deal he wanted to talk to her about, "However if you had someone to train you the ways of the world, helped you explore to the hearts content and still keep you safe, they would allow it..." A big grin on his face, "Does that sound tempting to you at all?"

Celena could feel the size difference between them as he moves closer to her. She trembles slightly, unable to stop herself. She didn't remember being reprimanded by their leader before and so of course she thought this was probably going to be about ten times worse than usual. As his words spill over her, sinking in. With each deed laid out and chastised she sunk a little lower feeling worse than she usually did when having to sit through these lectures.
When his tone changed she felt a tug of curiosity in his suddenly seeming turn around. At first he was telling her not to wander and that it was dangerous for the rest of the pack. And now he made it seem like she was wanted and it was all right if she went exploring. Hope soared briefly within her when he said he wouldn't tell the elders, only to come crashing down again when he changed his mind. Was it really necessary that she has to sit through two lectures? She allows her mind to wander for a moment, this wasn't an uncommon thing when she was forced to sit through these sorts of 'shape up' situations. Yet as he spoke of his past her wanderings began to take forum in the picture he painted.
Of course when the subject of the elders and their reasons for wanting the younger pack members to stay close came up she only wanted to close out his voice. She really didn't like the old geezers. All they ever did was sit around and tell everyone what not to do. Well okay that's all they ever have done for her. They hardly did anything and that wrinkled her more than their annoying lectures. If they were there to protect her how come they refused to tell her anything of value, anything aside from 'stay here'? She was almost tempted to voice her question but decided better of it.
Her mind began to churn at the idea he presented. This time, having learned for her last experience, she didn't suddenly jump at it like some crazed cub wanting something to eat. Of course, just who would really want to take time to deal with her? The only one in the whole pack who seemed interested had been that huntress. But even that situation left her feeling, unsure. Who? She finally asks after finding her voice that seem to have gotten lost at some point. It was neither an agreement or a disagreement.

Ifalna took the bottle silently, but still never keeping her eyes off of Jeane. As Akuchi had applied the elixir and did his work with the wounds, Jeane seemed to struggle at first; it was probably his first time with medicine actually working as it was applied to his bloody wounds. But, eventually, Jeane's wracking body went silent, his body quiet and subtle, alive and breathing as he healthilly fell from conciousness. Ifalna was a bit worried at first, leaning over him to make sure he was alright while whispering his name, but his regular breathing was enough for her. Ifalna held the bottle cupped in her hands, finaly daring to look at Akuchi with emotions flowing through her stricken eyes. She didn't smile, or make any gestues, but her tone and relief was all that she could muster. "Thank you, Akuchi. Without this, with you, I think Jeane would've..." but she shook her head, not even daring to even say the fate, let alone think it again. She sighed, looking at Jeane for a long, silent moment, then got up, slipping the bottle of elixir into her pants pocket.
She looked down at Akuchi with a more serious look, "Liefon said we all need to head up to the Crucian Castle. You should as well." She leaned down, grabbed Jeane into her arms, only minor drops of blood coming from his back as the wounds were quick to heal. But in an instant, he shot awake, jerking away from her, his breathing harsh as he stared wide-eyed at Akuchi, then Ifalna. At Ifalna's hurt look he softened, shock and fear gone. "I-I can walk. Really." He nodded to his mate with a smile, who was now on her feet, staring down at him with worry. Jeane reassured her with a nod, "If you help me, of course... I-I don't want to be caught in the sun. not now." He held up his arms to Ifalna, who almost immediately, with a warm smile, grabbed them and helped the flinching and cringing vampire to his feet. At first he almost stumbled forward, but as if Ifalna knew it would happen, caught him in her arm while he was still on his feet. She wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders, and another around his waste, careful as the blood stained her skin even more.
They were about to go before Ifalna glanced at Akuchi again, finally flashing him a smile. Jeane was forced to look them, a more weary, pale, and worried face with his frizzy black hair, but even Ifalna had smiled at him; how could he no do anything? It completely slipped away from him. "You have my thanks as well." He said quietly, but warmly. The Ifalna and Jean started through the streets, where the castle loomed ahead over the fires and former destruction. but Jeane and Ifalna didn't care; at least they were together, and would be always, as they dreamed of.

Well it seemed that he really did have a way with pups, however that way was not very efficient. It seemed she was still scared, perhaps because he rambled on and made it almost into a lecture like the elders did. It was not as if he meant to, he just wanted to include a lesson. However, perhaps not everything had to have a moral to it when talking to the younger generation... after all they hardly ever paid attention. Perhaps letting them learn from their own mistakes, and having someone to look up to to have a goal in mind where they want to excel at. That actually might be the best way of going around it. So, he would do just that, he would set her an example, and not only that but let her learn on her own, exploring where she wants to when she wants to.... "Well Celena, I know it might seem quite odd, but I do have someone in mind." As he spoke, he moved back a bit so she would have room, he did not want to make it seem like he was intimidating her at all, especially with what he was going to say next.
"You might have guessed the reason I came here was to make sure you stayed put and never follow the elite or I ever again, but," he smiled, "that couldn't be further from the truth." He stepped towards a tree, and just grinned, "Nature is a beautiful thing," his arm braced against the tree, and pushed it a little causing the foliage to fall upon Celena, dancing leaves everywhere. "It should be explored, not feared, and so at the very most, I want you to see all the beauty in this land, and perhaps even take you to where our pack used to travel through, passing through Crucia to the old oceans, maybe even stopping at the ports that the humans dwell..." He paused, hoping this made her mind wonder of all the beauty she could see, hopefully her curiosity would boil up inside of her. "However, the elders would only allow someone who could protect you and keep you safe at all cost, and that are strong and smart enough to overcome any problems that arise... and if you guessed it was me, then you are right."
Finally he had said what he wanted to, letting her know he was there to help her, he wanted to her to explore. He could only hope that the offer was more tempting and make her forget about their previous lecture, for he wanted her to feel at ease not at forced.. actually he just thought about it once again. "I do want to take you under my wing, the choice is completely yours, if you wish not to you will not offend me. Just take your time to think about it, in fact you can come to me later today and tell me what you think." Ah there, it seemed he made up for it a little bit, hoping his lightheartedness now would help smooth out the roughness in her heart.

The minutes passed by slowly as Gymn chattered on and on things going on around him and his father. Kale would probably be more than relieved to hear Gymn's mouth go shut for even a moment, having heard such stories already. But Erral sat there, still as ever, watching Gymn curiously and ephathically as he spoke, actually glad to hear such things. The young wolfen spoke of his most recent hunting trip with the other, older wolfen, who welcomed younger ones to come and train with them on short trips. Gymn explained the things he'd been learning, about stalking, tactics on hunting in all forms, how to use the weaponry and what not. He was more than determined to be one of them, but Erral could only hear the dissapointment in his voice as he wished his father would go with him; or always go with him. At that, Erral turned to Kale with an emotionless look. But Kale was already shaking his head, murmuring how it wasn't his type of duty. Kale's duty was to his family; which, he considered, was the whole pack. Erral understood such things, but Gymn took no notice of the feelings for it, dropping it in a second as he continued on more about how the others stalked and shot their weapons.
Erral had rarely gone hunting when he was younger. Like Gymn, he had tried it, going with the others that had hunted. Some of those older ones still did, but most had moved on to other lives; like old, millenium old Wolfen usually did, travelling and living out the rest of their lives to make their own packs off in other, faraway lands. When Erral was a few hundred years younger, he had actually managed to catch a small deer in his pure form; but he didn't like it. Not at the fact that it was killing something; it just wasn't his sport. Erral enjoyed his place among the Elite, where he could learn from the Crucian City and examine the way life was outside the forests. It was a wondrous thing, really, to be able to do such things. many of the wolfen in the pack would never know such glory, only proving themselves to be sheltered and hidden like they've been for most of the years since the Crucians built such a city and claimed area on their terriotory. Kale never understood him either, thinking his ways were almost wrong because he was away from family so long, and when he did see them, it was only on short occasions like this. Erral felt guilty sometimes, but he had to do what was in his heart.
The young wolfen finally took a breath to continue, but Kale held up a hand, laughing quietly, "I think that's enough, son. You're going to talk Erral's ear off." Gymn looked at him dissapointed, then at Erral with a look of hope. he obviously had much more to say about whatever he was doing around the pack, and all those stories about everyone else. Erral couldn't tell if they were exagerated or not. Gymn was obviously looking for permission to go on from Erral, but the older wolfen just shook his head with a smile.
"Sorry, boy. I have to respect your father's wishes." Kale looked utteraly relieved at Erral's words, and Erral couldn't help but grinning at such a prospect.
"Gymn, why don't yougo enjoy some time with one of those hunters you spoke so much about? Let me catch up with Erral bit?" Kale added to break the wavering silence that Gymn was so aching to break. He looked a bit blank at first, then groaned as he jumped to his feet excitedly.
The boy patted Erral on the shoulder in farewell, and Erral nodded with a smile. Kale gave a heavy sigh, or maybe one of relief. It was hard to decide between the two, but either way, Erral had to admit; it was pretty nice to be able to talk with his dear brother alone, to get a few words in without Gymn around. He loved the boy more than anything, but the truth was the truth. "So then." Kale smiled, resting his hands on his knees again as he leaned forward slightly to examine his brother, "What's been going on with that job of yours?" He raised a brow at Erral. Erral kept a straight face, but inside he knew Kale didn't really care much about the humans. What it was really leading to what the fact if the humans were ever going to get closer to the pack. That's what mattered.
Then Erral smiled again across his plain features, his hands weaving around to give enthusiasm to his words as he slowly went on about the human life. Some things, like guard tactics they used, even caught a curious glance form Kale, and after awhile, Erral was even starting to notice his brother getting interested, paying attention, taking in his words with memorable care. Maybe, one day, another would learn what Erral had, and grow the love for such a city and monument; but, alas, one day it would be destroyed. Because, all and all, he had helped build a structure that was taking the territory of Vischer's pack. It was an ill omen, but it was fate.
