Whenever I'm onthe field marching and notice all the crap instruments and things, the words "not in the budget" will pop into my head and cause me to crack.

For our show this year, I has a trumpet solo in the second song, and my friend had a flute solo in the third song. So we came up with the idea that our music was about sex.
The first song was the prowl. You see that guy, and you know you HAVE to have him.
The second song is where you, well, SUCCEED.
Then the third song was the day after. My friends solo was the very beggining of the song, and it was all like, your in a good mood, and its like 'guess what I did last night! yeah!'
So anway, I told our brass instructor about ur show concept, and then every time I whent to play my solo, she would stand on the side line and laugh at me, so I could never play it with a straight face.

ive tried to play trumpet and one would think youd have to have a straight face in order to play.

A thought popped into my head involving a trumpet player and a saxomaphone player...who happen to be (fraternal) twin brothers...heh heh.

Russ B I was playing "Won't You Be My Neighbor" by Mr. Rodgers for Summer Jazz Band last night, and I was thinking that it would be cool if someone tied marionette strings to Mr. Rodger's body and made his do a tap dance through this one part that has no rhythm section in it. Then at the end he would cross his arms, all ghetto style, and say "Word to your mother, b***h." I couldn't stop laughing for 10-15 minutes, and everyone was staring at me as I was crying and laughing on the floor. xd L. O. L. Now IIIII can't stop laughing. xD

ph34r_the_dark_faerie haha. we played jupiter from the planets :O coincidence... no probably not. whenever we play this medley called pictures at an exhibition.. at the last section.. or something, our bd has to conduct half time so all of a sudden he looks like a proud diver doing the breaststroke .... ugh the whole band came up with that... its soo funny... whenever we play it now... a couple of us cant stop but to put our horn down and stifle the giggles... domokun
We don't go that psycho in our band class because we're an Arts Academy school, so we're supposed to behave.
But I like yall's ideas! And Planets sounds really cool. I think I'll ask my BD if she knows about it.

ok we were playin dance of the reed flutes from the nutcracker...
then all of a sudden i was picturing barbie and that nutcracker movie... i ended messing up at the end of the song

this might just be mental or something but its kinda funny whenever my director is conducting its just weird .. you should see them i think they do it on purpose to get our attention but hmm...
thats what i do when ever i get bored think of something funny
but i cant rember any of them

i remember last year i had a stong dislike of this girl in my school...we always mafde fun of the fact that she was a slut by making fun of her v****a (don't ask)...anyways...my BD, Dembosky, was teaching somepercussioninsts how to use a lions roar...i was thinking how it sounds like jessica clouds (the girl i hated...and still hate stressed ) v****a going on a rampage and charging...what i didn't know was that i was thinking out loud and i blurted out "Run for your lives it's jessica clouds v****a out loud...half the class busted up laughing...the other was wondering why everybody was laughing...thank god Dembosky never heard it!!! mrgreen

Usually when i'm soloing in jazzband i'm trying to think of where i want the solo to go next and what chord changes are coming up.
In marchingband i think of whatever i guess... Like how big my friends head is O.o

I had a funny thought pop in my head when one of the sr. drummer's girl friends posted crap about the band on my space...he's there talking about how much he loved all of us and loved the band...me and my friends all thought "Why cant your girl friend feel the same way?"
