It finally about time that Phiaynch had met another who was filled with determination to take down the corrupt. He knew Elemera was there to help, but her passion did not run as deep as his did. The new comer seemed to have a quite strong resolve and as he sensed the earth shrill within the grasp of the chimera, the knowledge of greatness was seen. This person before them was going to take revenge on them, and it was every so much important to him. That strength was exactly what they would need as they gritted their teeth and burst through the gates of the facility, they would unleash the hell within them. However they would have to keep a calm and collective head on them until they could muster enough force to overwhelm the guards.

"Our words no longer need to be said as you have mentioned," Phialynch words finally sounded the soothing way they should now that he was talking openly to them all in his bonded form, "we know what we must do. Our actions shall speak for us, and show that we meant every word we have said here. The facility workers will pay for their ill begotten deeds, and the bonded shall be set free." A little pause in his mind almost as if he was taking a deep breath, perhaps it was more of letting the air settle and let his words linger before he continued on. "Speaking of bonded, where is yours?" His head moved towards the area that the chimera came from as if he was trying to sniff out the other, although truthfully he was not looking for more bonded, he was looking to see if any guards were coming. However, if the Chimera had taken the time to land down next to a basilisk during escaping, it obvious meant that the Chimera has been out for a while, still that did not explain why his bonded was not there.

Time seemed a bit jitter in Elemera's mind, just a few moments back she remembered how Fay had soothed her into breaking out of the facility, and he was once again persuading her to go back in to the hell hold. He did seem to have quite the way with words did he not?
"Fay," she spoke to him privately in his mind so only he could hear, "do you think whoever set those traps will be coming here soon?"

"Ah... yes you're right about that I have forgotten, we can not waste time idly chit chatting now then can we?"
A grin within, as he turned toward the chimera once more,
"If your bonded is near by, we must head out soon, a trap has been set off, we fear that those who set it may come looking soon enough." What a dreadful thougt really. However he knew that fear would lurk around every corner, they would be hunted to no end until they were killed off or captured once more for further experiment. No, this time it was their time to shine, their glory to be seized, they would not go down so easily, so they would have to depart soon, and would have to attack soon enough as well. The more they waited, he was sure the longer time the facility would have to fortify its position. Surely the humans were smart enough to know a battle was coming. You treat someone with power wrongly, and they are freed, revenge was always an option, so they must be preparing. He could only ponder about all the traps they would eventually get set in wait to try and prepare for each individual bonded. He just hoped they did not count on them pairing up with others.

Faraday arched a brow at him. He sounded as if he wanted to do something. Tilting her head to the side, Faraday's mouth twitched at the sides.

"Well, Axis needs me at the moment. He's found the basilisks and they say that alchemists may be coming soon because of a trap that's been set off. So if you're going to stay here, I'd recommend hiding. We're not too far from the trap, and I'm sure the Classifieds will see you. Maybe you should come; let Madoc cool off for a while?" The last part was more question than suggestion. She wasn't sure if she could speak of Madoc without Ruad getting angry, but it was a risk Faraday was willing to take.

Axis listened to the basilisk intently before nodding with three heads.

"Faraday is some ways off, safe, for now. But I fear those alchemists will be here soon, so we should get a move on, like you said." Axis cocked his lion head to the side. "How long have you been out?" he asked quizically. "Have you found a hiding place yet?"

If not, there was always the place Faraday had found on accident. They had been hunting in the forest one day when Faraday tripped and fell to the ground, flat on her face. Her foot had caught in an abandoned badger hole. Faraday helped Axis dig a wider entrance to the tunnel and helped to plant high grass around it, with a boulder over the hole to conceal it. However, that would do no good if the hunting Classifieds caught Faraday's and Axis' scent. That's why they kept an emergency exit nearby a stream, to land in and cover their scent. They only used the boulder-covered entrance rarely.

Faraday wrapped her wings about her. Twilight was approaching and it was getting colder.

"Shall we go?" she asked.

Ruad arched a brow right back, developing a cheeky smile as he did. Faraday really wasn't so bad.... The angel reminded himself to look like less of a mental case around her.

Needs you.... Lucky, Ruad thought, though he tried not to get bitter about it for now. Besides, what she was saying was important. Ruad listened closely, thinking about what that meant. Well, first off it meant that there were a good number of them. Setting traps wouldn't make sense unless there were plenty of escaped bonded pairs, and if there were many of them...

Well. That was for thinking about later. "Probably a good idea," Ruad said, rising. He looked back in Madoc's direction. Though it was darkening, and thus cooling, it didn't really touch Ruad. Angels didn't feel the change in temperature much, though apparently chimeras did. The way Faraday wrapped herself in her wings suggested it anyway. "...How far away, about, are the basilisks?" the angel asked. It might have seemed to be a random question, but it was very important. Ruad could tell that he only had about a 1/4 mile or so if they headed directly away from Madoc, so hopefully the basilisks would be closer. Ruad would like to meet some of the other bonded pairs... It would be interesting.

((Sorry for the double-post, but it's a new storyline here. It won't happen again - I just didn't want to wait to post up for Skunk))

Madoc watched as the two dragons flew overhead, letting out a relieved sigh as they passed over his area. It might have been cool to meet a dragon, sure, but... Scary, all the same. Especially since he couldn't defend himself. But now Ruad can, the human-turned-angel thought, the tone happy at first but quickly sinking into bitter anger. Ruad... Madoc thought his bonded's name half with venom, half with yearning. He didn't want to think about which was stronger.

It was only a couple of minutes later than he heard hoofbeats in the forest. Well, perhaps beats was too strong a word... They were more of hoof-falls, a gentle noise. Madoc lifted his head from his knees, on which it had been resting. Sounds like a horse... the blond thought warily, unconsciously brushing his bangs over the left side of his face. Madoc hated to show people that particular tattoo, that work of art Ruad had imprinted onto his - Np, Madoc thought firmly, turning his attention back to the hoof-falls.

The only questions was whether or not it was hostile. For a moment, Madoc felt truly, horribly alone. He wished with all his heart that Ruad were there by his side to back him up, to help protect them. But that was yet another thought that Madoc wouldn't accept. I don't need him and I don't want him, the human intoned, taking a light breath in as he stood to face whatever was coming. The moonlight bounced eerily off of his hair, skin and wings, giving him a small halo of light even in the dark. Madoc was silent a moment before deciding that silence was cowardly, and that he had no reason to be afraid. "Hello?" he called out unsurely, though he tried to leave that particular emotion out of his voice.

Faraday tilted her head to the side as she considered. Her mismatched eyes glittered in the light of the setting sun. Her ears slightly twitched. Standing still for a moment, Faraday suddenly spun and pointed off in the direction Axis had taken to.

"Well, they're that way, east," Faraday reasoned, glancing at the setting sun. "They really aren't too far away. I'm sure I can get Axis to bring them closer for you." A small frown painted itself on her lips. "Can't go much further?"

Axis shuffled. He could hear Faraday's thoughts and decided to pull the basilisks closer to Faraday to make it easier for all of them.

"Come, let's go this way," Axis said to the basilisks using mind-speak. "Faraday cannot go too far with the Classified with her. We should be going that way anyways. Unless you have other places to be?"

Ruad looked in the direction Faraday had indicated. Well, it wasn't close to where Madoc was, but it wasn't in the exact opposite direction either. "If they're within about a half a mile it should be fine..." the angel said, looking in Madoc's direction. He turned his head back when Faraday asked her question.

Ruad turned to her, his eyes down. "We can't... get more than about a half a mile from one another. Ever," the angel confessed, though he didn't sound happy about it. Then again, if they could split up permanently, they probably would have. Madoc, at least, would be long gone. "We black out if we try," Ruad continued, looking back in Madoc's direction. He couldn't see his Bonded through the trees, but he was sure he was there. "I'm guessing you two don't have that problem?" the angel asked, glancing over to the girl.

Faraday tilted her head to the side, slightly bewildered. They had a limit? And so close? Well, the limit she understood. She and Axis had such a limit. But they could go miles. Ruad and Madoc could only go half a mile from each other. That severely cut down any possibilities of alone time.

Shaking her head, Faraday replied, “No, not really. Axis and I do have a limit, but it allows us several miles between each other. I can’t imagine only half a mile between us when…” She paused. If she and Axis had only half a mile between each other when they were angry at each other that would spell trouble. They didn’t need to add more scars to themselves.

“Well, Axis and the basilisks are moving closer now. That should make it easier. If you feel like you’re gonna go down, tell me.” She shivered again. “Anyways, night is approaching, so we’d better meet up and find some shelter for the night.” As another shiver shook her, she scowled. “I’m sorry, but I’m going chimera now. I’ll be warmer that way. I’ll be able to speak into your mind if your mind is open to me, though.” With that, Rainer shook herself and fell to her knees, her hands supporting her and holding her up. Her chimera form quickly took over.

Faraday shook herself again. Her fur warmed her massive body. Faraday locked six eyes on Ruad.

”Are you ready?” she asked, her voice echoing in her own mind. She couldn’t be sure he heard her.

"A hiding place? The forest itself has been plenty of room for us to do our bidding, the dark shadows are always to my liking." He seemed to have gave all he was on that matter, letting the chimera draw to the conclusion that these two never had a true hiding spot. To them it was perfect though, why would a basilisk have to hide? Creatures had fears of them, and so it was them that were hiding not the proud Phialynch. Of course they did have a small den off by a hilling slope, however that was merely storage of food, it was not fit for more than a single meal, and so in that aspect only a single human could crouch into it... that is if they were willing to put up with the horrid smell. So for now it did not even seem fit to mention.

"I figure if they come about here, they might just assume it was just a trap gone afire, after all there's no trace of anyone there or that the line was broke. So my guess is that we can just head far enough we'll be in safety." Of course a simple guess was not something that he wanted to do, it was a horrible thought. It made him quite disturbed, could they really get caught? If he felt this horrible about Elemera getting captured, he knew the chimera held the same kind of bond to his own. So it seemed if anything did happen, only the humans would need a place to stay while these two creatures fought... Should he mention the food storage space? Nah, there had to be a better place than that, so he placed his concern solely onto the chimera, doing a direct mind talk, "Do you know where a place the humans can at least stay? Their protection is probably the most important."

Meanwhile, with Fay leading up ahead, Elemera tried to keep stride with them all, she couldn't help but feel all the guilt placed on her, why did she have to be so clumsy? Of course if she didn't get them into this mess they would of never met the chimera, another brethren in the fight against the facility workers. What pain though, if they got captured their victory of escape would of been meaningless. She could only hope that this turn of events only shaped towards a better future instead of the dreadful thoughts in her head.

Ruad gave a heavy "heh", a sound that included an odd, bird-like up-and-down motion of his shoulder blades. "Now you start to see the problem," the angel said simply. Most pairs could actually get away from each other... Ruad and Madoc were always within eyesight of one another, unless one was actively behind something. Like a forest, the angel thought, looking towards where he knew Madoc to be.

"Sure... And go for it," Ruad said absentmindedly. He didn't mind if she was a chimera or not. Angels and chimera had a mixed history, sure, but he wasn't about to jump down anyone's throat about it. He wondered if, were he a real angel, he would.

Faraday's mental speech wasn't hard for Ruad to pick up on. Angels always communicated with each other telepathically, so the language of meaning was his first. "Yes. Lead the way," Ruad responded. He could have spoken back with his mind, but seeing how he and Madoc didn't communicate that way... It simply felt a little bit wrong to Ruad. If he couldn't speak to his bonded like that, then who could he? And so, he used his words.

||AtavisticDevilry, I truly appreciate your dedication to this RP. It seems you are the only one who cares, despite how frequently the RPers are on Gaia. I'm probably going to discontinue this thread. However, if you're part of the guild The Roleplay Refuge, I have the same thread there. If you want to continue, I'd be glad to accept you there. Hopefully, I'll see you later!||
