Well,I think that EF has a point.Considering St. Anger and God Hates Us All,TSHF is pretty good. But Dave solo will probably suck, because Megadeth is Dave Mustaine.

That doesnt make any sense. You said that Dave Solo will suck because Dave is Megadeth. That you means you think Megadeth sucks as well...

I'm saying Megadeth would be shitty without Dave, and vica versa.

How could Megadeth be shitty without Dave if Dave is Megadeth? Even though he wont be using that name anymore. Im still always going to think of Dave as Megadeth...

My hope is that the name 'Megadeth' and all that came with it was a period in Dave's musical career. It can be a lot trying to live up to a name, an ideal. I wonder if being free of the idea of being attached to a brand name will result in entirely different songwriting from Dave.

A bit of a story of how I got into MegaDeth, so to speak. Being an avid video game player, I have played both GTA Vice City and True Crime, True Crime of which not very pleasurable. Both of them happened to feature the song "Peace Sells" by, of course, MegaDeth. I was interested, so I decided up "Rust in Peace." Needless to say it soon became my favorite band. I listen to them frequently, so I'm looking into their concerts. Nice to see some other MegaDeth fans.

Megadeth fan too!
I too share the idea the Dave IS Megadeth. Of course I enjoyed Marty's solos, Dave's bass lines(the other one ^^), and Nick's drumms, but in the end I belive the "trademark" riffs that we identify right away as Megadeth are Mustain made...
Hangar 18 is cool. By the way, I've seen them 3 times.

LOL I used to play in this band (6 or 7 years ago) that did only covers, and Hangar 18 was one of them. Still think thats a great theme!
Cheers K.
