Depends on where I am. There are some places where I'd never pick anything up off the ground. Like in a public bathroom... or China...
Once, when I was a kid, I was in one of the larger retail outlets in this shopping centre. I picked up a twenty cent coin, and then started looking around the floor thinking that a large place like this would surely have lots of change. I went home two bucks richer. >_>

depends where the penny is and if im not busy
would never pick a penny up on a sewer drainer or in a barn with live stock eek

I don't care about pennies. I used to be the one to throw them on the ground, but at least now I keep them. I still won't stop and pick one up, unless I need it real bad.

I'd pick it up no matter what. [Especiallly around the house.] So I save them all and earn about 80 bucks a month from the coins.

i'd pick up pennies, but where i live you probably
wouldnt find any o.O
although when i used to live in ny
when i was 8 or 9...i did find a 20...
but i left it where i found it hopeing
the owner would come back and get it...
now that i think of it..
some one else probably found it
and had a extra spot for it in their wallet...
