Akasha listened as her daughter ranted and vented and finally got everything off her chest. She was proud that Keira stood up for herself, even against her own mother. Altho after a while, her tails flicked in an irritated manner. "Feel better?" she asked, raising a brow. "Look Keira, if you want to run and play and have no cares in the world fine. I think your stronger then that. But i'm not going to try and turn you into someone your not. I'm your mother Keira, but i'm not going to lie to you and say everything perfect, you'll always be safe. Nothings perfect, you wont always be safe, thats why i want you to be strong Keira" Akasha's red eyes flashed, not a dangerous flash, but a passionate one "I wont always be around to protect you, thats why i want you to be able to protect yourself, and your siblings." (( xD Kinda, but not really. I'm nothing like Akasha, and wouldnt single out one kid to look after the rest xD ))

great now she was being guilted .... how was she suppose to protect them anyway.... she didn't exactly know how to fight, she looked to her mother her eyes still full of fierce determination despites her tear soaked face "Are you going to teach me to fight then? I tell you I'm willing to take anything down that might threaten them ... I don't have a problem with that but you seem rather unconvinced of my conviction so teach me. Teach me how to fight to your satisfaction so I can play and still protect them" the expression on her face showed no sign of the crying she had done before, she was determined and well you couldn't say she didn't take after her family

Akasha's red eyes flashed again "Dont assume i'm not convinced Keira" she said sternly, her dark tails flicking. "You need more information than a few conversations to come up with a legit assumption" she said with a nod. "Not all opponents will try and use brute force Keira. Some will take the easier approach. Some will try a mental attack. No phsycial training in the world will prepare you for that. A sharp mind however, can overcome anything" she said with a wicked grin spreading across her maw. If you were smart enough, you could talk your way out of anything.

Keira practically threw her butt on the ground, I pitty any bugs that might have been so unlucky as to be in the way, Keira of course paid them no mind if she even gave them a thought "Fine then, teach me. I should start learning young anyway right? Thats what Makoto always says and she is very bright. But how can I be of any use to them if I'm told to do something and never shown how? That is like asking a fish to fly, it might be able to leap really high but it will never be able to stay in the sky, eventually it will fall back to the earth. So teach me, I'm ready to learn, and willing, so show me how" there was no anger in her voice as there had been before, she was simply making a statement, but the fierceness in her eyes never wavered

Akasha's eyes flared to life "Do not talk down to me Keira" she said, using every ounce of her strength to control herself. She had a dark side to her, much like Chaos' only less intense. Akasha prided herself on her control, but too much pride created a weakness. "I know full well what i said and what i have not yet taught you, i need NO reminders " she said flicking her tails. She began pacing back and forth. She resembled a caged lion, eyeing the freedom that lingered just out of grasp.
"If you want to be strong, and have every vantage available over your enemies, i will teach you" she said, still pacing, inyet her foot-falls made not a sound. If you wernt watching, you wouldnt know she was there and restless "If your merely doing this to humour me, dont. Go back to your siblings, play your games and have a great time. Madey or Corvinus would be next to lead" she shrugged, indifferent to which of her children followed her footfalls.

Made slipped off her end of the log as Keira went off with their mother. She was rather curious what would happen, but at the moment she was more intent on a slightly less active form of fun. She had a pretty good idea that Corvi might be more into intellectual fun than physical. Wandering over she gave a sniff to the older female and smiled. She could tell right away what she was. "Auntie!!"
Maharet blinked then grinned. "Something like that. Greetings. and you are?" she was being polite but she didn't know all of Akasha's young. She didn't even claim to know any but Corvinus there.

Now Keira was getting mad, didn't she just say to teach her? Hadn't she been saying she wanted to protect her siblings? odd how when she wasn't yelling at her mother her mother got upset at her.... perhaps she should just always yell... she hadn't planned on what her saying sounding like talking down ... she didn't know she could talk down to someone bigger than her unless she was in a tree, and her mother never offered to teach her before she had just kept telling her to care for her siblings ..... is her mother afraid that she can't protect them? That her lessons wouldn't be helpful? Keira's mood softened thinking about this, Makoto had told her that some animals pretend to be dangerous when in reality they were defenceless, was her mother like that? Keira had a hard time believing that, but when her mother blamed her of 'humoring' her Keira's anger and frustration returned why would she humor her .... she didn't want to 'talk down' to her mother again but keeping quiet wasn't an option anymore "I wasn't talking down to you but you keep telling me to do something like I'm failing to do it but I don't know how to do it any different! I want to protect them but I don't know how to do it any other way... and why would I want to waist my time humoring anyone! It certainly isn't fun for me right now" she clenched her jaws tight in frustration to the point where it hurt her teeth, at this point she just wanted to be alone, something Keira had never wanted before but at this point she couldn't stand much more frustration

He was tired & somewhere in his newborn kit mind that galled Ombrascoppio. He had only just come out! He wanted to see what he had been missing! But... the shadow burst kit yawned again as his mother lifted him, settling down into a tight ball of green gray and black automatically as he was set back down. He wanted... he wanted... the kit yawned, showing again his small pink tongue against the blackness of his shadow spot. His eyes closed. Later. He would do it later.

Akasha growled again. It was very tempting to just...no. She shook her head, clearing it. She watched her daughter well with frustrations, she smirked "There's the passion needed" she ruffled Keira's hair with a paw, before she resumed pacing, a content smirk on her maw now. She'd let Keira's comment go, for now anyways. "You wont learn actual fighting, for a while. Its the least important." she said with a shrug "As i said earlier, mentality is superior to strength" she said with a nod.
Corvinus smiled and nodded his head at Made. "This is my sister Madeline" he said with a nod, and a slow tail wag. He glanced over at Ombra, who'd curled up with their father, he couldnt help but smile. He gave a sigh, ears dropping softly, he still didnt feel like he belonged to this family.

Made smiled and nodded to her newest relative. "Hullo!" she said brightly, then turned to Covinus. "Hey corvi. I had an idea, want to go on a little exploring adventure with me? I don't really want to go alone. And Keira is busy.... it won't be like running or anything. I just want to explore."
Maharet smirked and watched them. If need be, she would wander along behind them as they explored. She knew that Keman was going to be watching Ombra for a while, and she didn't mind caring for her niece and nephew.
Keman scooted Ombra a bit closer to him in order to keep him warm while Akasha was speaking with Keira. From the sound and looks of things, it was quite a heated conversation.

Corvinus smiled softly, and glanced at his mother and sister. He didnt want to leave them, but he glanced at his aunt, and assumed she would follow if asked, so it would be ok. He nodded slowly at his sister "Alright Madey. I'd like that" he said in his gentle tone.
Smokey colored tails flicked, back and forth in a rhythmic manner. Red eyes Intenser then Akasha's own, watched the kits. The quiet sleeping one with his father. The fiery one with her fiery mother. And the two seemingly misfits, with each other and their aunt. Chaos couldnt help but smile. He'd come with the intentions of introducing himself, to the youngsters, but now, just didnt seem the right time. He nodded to himself, and slunk back into the shadows, remaining unseen.

Keira sat listening, she almost dropped her jaw at her mothers sudden change of mood but she tried to keep her composure, she wanted to learn and this gave her her mothers attention, she said nothing but nodded from time to time, she didn't want to interupt, Makoto says it's counter intuitive to learning... Keira isnt sure what that means but Makoto assured her it was bad

Made grinned and started sniffing about. She wasn't precisely sure where she wanted to go, only that she was in the mood to explore the area. Finally she caught the scent of something not of family. Glancing at Corvi and Maharet with a grin, she began tracking that smell.
Maharet smirked and followed, knowing that young kits could definitely get themselves into trouble if they weren't watched closely.

Akasha smirked, and let the attitude go. "You must keep your mind sharp, always be aware of whats around you. Learn to watch the little subtleties in someones demenour. Always be aware" she said, finally pausing in her constant pacing.
Corvinus followed Madey, tails dragging along the grass softly, he followed his sister. He had to admit his interest was piqued. This was his area. He was strong enough, for normal play, but it didnt grab his attention. This, did. Slowly his tails began to wag.

"Like Made and Corvi leaving with that grown up?" She had caught them out of the corner of her eye and when they started leaving she got a little worried, she didn't know the grown up and feel weird letting them leave with her
