Kira's eyes returned to their normal color and her expression was suddenly fearful once more. "Wh-what's going on? What happened?" She tried to lift herself up, but the pain in her body stopped her. She grunted in pain and laid down on the ground, breathing heavily.

Karasu looked first at the weak, possessed human, then at his friend dying nearby. He sighed almost indifferently. "Well, everything certainly has gone to hell..." He lifted the girl by the arm and stared into her eyes. "I'll make a deal with you. You help my friend and give him some of your blood, and I'll let you live... for now."

Kira stared back, wide-eyed and fearful. She nodded, not as though she had much choice anyway. It was either her life or a little of her blood, and the first one wasn't what she wanted to lose first.

Yuzuki stops and sits down in a place she didn't know, not that she really cared. She starts to think and leans against the tree behind her, she knew that she was still in the forest, but she didn't know which part of the forest. She shakes her head and looks down her hands, maybe there was something she was missing...she felt empty.

he sat up slowly, unable to move at first, but he slowly inched over to her, and began to drain a small amount of blood. just enough to find other prey. "You taste...different that most..." He said with a bit of a puzzled look on his face.

"Um... Thanks?" Kira sat down again as her vision blurred and she began to feel dizzy. She looked around in a daze. "Wh-where's Yuzuki?"

"Well..." he said rising to his feet, nearly fully restored "...She ditched off into the woods...Is she your friend?"

Kira weakly tried to stand. "Well... I'm not sure... But I have to find her!" As far as she knew, Yuzuki was the only ally she had. Everyone else seemed to want to kill her. She swayed on her feet and fell back onto the ground.

"I will not listen to the call....it can suffer...the call can suffer..." Yuzuki starts to rock back and forth, trying to resist the call. She yanks at whatever it was and tries to calm down.

Karasu watched the girl fall. "Don't strain yourself, or I won't need to finish you. You'll do the job for me. You've been drained by two people today, I think for now what you need is to rest."

"No, I'm fine, really." Kira stood and managed to stay standing this time, but she was far from able to walk. "I'll just go find her and then I'll be right back. I'll be okay."

Yuzuki was starting to recall when the human gave her the blood freely, shaking her head to rid of such thoughts. She didn't need a human in her life, they were all just taunting her to make her think they are nice. She gets up from her seat and just chooses a random direction to walk in.
