MARVEL UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!
"Hmmm.... this is an interesting battle but im sure there are more people inside... now just gotta find a way to lure them out" Geovani had thought to himself as he phased through a large chunk of earth that had been thrown at him and locating the source fired a bolt of green energy at him hitting and stunning the elementalist.
Locating what he was looking for, a sort of loudspeaker phone set, he took over the nearest elementalist then picking up the phone he said, in a rather exasperated tone, "OH MY GOD REINFORCEMENTS TO THE FRONT GATES FULL AVENGER ASSAULT!!! I REPEAT SEND REINFORCEMENTS HURRY BEFORE ITS..." and with that Geovani hung up the phone and watched with satisfaction as alot more people rushed out of the building.
"That outa make it easier for Team B to get things done if theres less people inside" and with that thought he decided to see what sort of elemental control this one had and to his satisfaction it was earth.
With a loud grunt he managed to pull out a large chunk of earth from the ground and with another grunt sent it hurling towards a large group of earth elementals and to his delight they stopped it. It was already to late as Geovani had transfered into the rock and as they stopped it he let loose a large surge of energy while inside shattering it into many smaller rocks that where moving at such a high speed sevral elementals were impaled before anyone could react and another large number were knocked unconciouse.
Flying over to next to Ceres, "I just radioed for reinforcements from the inside incase you havent noticed that outa make B teams job ALOT easier if most are out here... Doom however wont fall for this he probably has the strongest elementals gaurding whatever room he is in."

*Edited, I didn't like how it turned out the first time around.* DC UNIVERSE [Super Long Post Strike of Vengeance... I mean... Justice! ninja ]
Thank goodness... She breathed with relief, he hadn’t noticed the switch. For now Luthor saw what he believed to be Alisa Leo but this Alisa was nothing more than a hologram smiling back at him. Then again she had never been the real Alisa to begin with. The real Alisa Leo had died some months ago in an unforseen accident. Or so the government claimed who had done such a good job of covering the incident that not even Alisa own contacts knew of it; even Mr. All-Powerful Lex Luthor.. That is when they approached Aria, a.k.a Alisa Leo, to take the young weapon dealer’s place.
Now undetectable as a form of ultraviolet light Aria hovered above her hologram-self. There wasn't much and she had to accomplish her mission quickly. Changing her mass from ultraviolet to neutrinos, she passed through the layers of floor with ease. She always found passing through objects to such a strange and sensational concept; though she had done it for years it was still a hard feeling to explain. It wasn’t long till she found what she was looking for. Enough monitors, panels, buttons, circuits and switches to make a computer geek squeal out of pure joy. Yup, it was the main control room alright. And thankfully it was unoccupied at the moment.
Phasing back to her normal form the girl quickly pulled out the instructions she had received from her contact. Reading over the sheet she gave a little pray and held her breath setting to her task. Hopefully she didn’t mess this up. Computers where a bit of unfamiliar territory for her. Double checking the notes she inserted a mini disk into the console. A switch here, a file there, check the notes again, enter the code, and.... there the download was complete. She breathed again. One task down... one to go.
The chip, it had been her bargain ticket to get in now it was time to take it back. Easier said than done Lex Luthor was not a man to underestimate. But first things first. Flipping on a monitor over to the security system Aria watched with a smile as the two heroic teams made their ensuing entrance. Tucking the disk away under the collar of her tunic top she playfully humming the tune of “As the Saint Go Marching In”in her mind. It was her time to play her backstage role.
Locating the power converter inside the panel, and taking a deep breath, concentrating all her energy she sent a huge electrical charge straight into the system. One large enough that it would have powered five city blocks. The system’s readings went through the roof as everything was purged into darkness. The girl collapsed to her knee in front of the console breathing heavily. That had hurt a tad more than she anticipated. That was a lot harder to do when she was not in an energy form.
Sending out energy in radio wavelengths she sent a coded message to the Justice League’s com-signal.“The firefly has stolen the guardian’s eye of power. You have ten minutes... Good luck.” That was done, stumbling a bit as got her feet she need decide the best tactic to steal the chip back from Luthor. Then sounds of over-sized footsteps came echoing down the hallway.
Moments later; backing the staging room. “Well what did you find out? And for goodness sake get that flashlight out my eyes before I beat you over the head with it.” Luthor’s tone was beyond that of being pissed-off. He didn’t like all these interruptions on the day that was to be his supreme moment of glory. “The Techs said they detected some kind of massive energy surge just before everything shutdown; they have know idea what caused it. The lights, the generators, security, everything is down. They are working right now to get everything up and running again, but they said it will still take time.”
“...Wonderful... do you have anymore good news to tell me?” “Actually sir....,” Carefully one carried in the snow-haired young lady. “...We found Ms. Leo downstairs in one of the corridors. She was already unconscious when we found her; she doesn’t seemed to have been injured so we believe she may have just fainted.” Peculiar... how in the world had she gotten downstairs when she had been sitting in front of him not moments ago. And her hair, something about it caught his eye again... had it really been a trick of the light? This time small wisps of light began forming from the girls hair. “What in the world?”
The girl’s golden eyes flashed opened as she smiled mischievously at the bewildered men. The two goons dropped, via a nice little electroshock treat, then before she even hit the ground Aria sent blast of the little same treatment at Luthor and his guest knocking them off their feet. Snatching the briefcase Aria playfully smiled as she gave Luthor a message in sign I’m sorry but I be taking this back now. Thank you for your hospitality. Making a dash for the door... or at least that is what she tried to do until all of a sudden more monkey-suits decided to show up. Greaaaat... now what...I can’t change forms change forms carrying this... Think Aria think! Quickly our little snow haired maiden looked for another means of escape. I guess I’ve got no other choice... Father’s going to be mad when he finds out about this. Light blasted in an exploding sea glass and Aria along with it as she jumped through the staging room’s window. The ground rapidly approaching she had to act fast before the two had an up close and personal meeting. Using a blast of energy she super-heated the air around herself to slow down the speed of her descent, it was enough, but still not enough to keep her from landing pretty hard.
The dark was motionless the only sound that could be heard was the faint crinkle of glass against the metal. It so dark and quiet for a moment Aria almost thought she was dead. But a sharp pain shooting up through her body told her otherwise. She felt something warm and cool against her face. Metal? Had she really fallen all the way to the bottom of the main chamber room? That warm feeling... what was it and why did it have a strange metallic smell? With a bit of a struggle Aria managed to gain some leverage and prop herself up against a nearby wall. She tried to stand to her feet but that task was going be easier said than done as she was told by the throbbing pain in her ankle that almost made her curl over in two. Things where just going get more difficult from here. She clutched the briefcase to her chest tightly. Voices where approaching. Great more fun...
There was not much she could do, she was cornered, and she knew she didn’t stand much of a chance in this condition. Maybe... Reaching out with little strength she had she left she sent out one more radio length, praying that it might reach... someone. "...The firefly has been caught... in the gate that taps the universe.....please...help...." Ready to make a stand, as futile it was, Aria generated a few firefly lights they wouldn't do much damage but... it was all she could manage at this point. Even now she could feel herself slipping, she wouldn’t hold out much longer.
...Father... I’m sorry...

"Plasma! Did you get that?!?!," Batman chirped over the comm unit in Crawford's ear.
"Loud and clear, why the hell didn't J'onn tell us he had an inside man?," Plasma retorted as he kept blasting away at the robotic legions that kept popping up to replace which had been destroyed.
"Probably didn't want to compromise the mission."
"Good for him. But we're compromised anyways," Plasma said loudly before looking back quickly. "Any luck with breaching the door?"
"None!," he heard back just as loudly. Dammit, Plasma thought as he nodded slightly at the Arrow. The two had worked together long enough to know what was going on. Without hesitance, Plasma turned on his heel and unleashed a huge emerald battering ram towards the doors. Within two strikes, the doors were broken open enough that all three could squeeze through, but there was no telling what was on the inside aside from Luthor and however many henchmen he had lurking.
"Batman, we're in. Do you have the location of the plant? And the location of Luthor?"
"About twenty meters from your direction, about two floors down from you. Luthor is in the lowest level possible."
"Roger that. We'll be near our man within ten minutes," Plasma said to Batman. "Everyone in!" With that, the three infiltrators made their ways inside Luthor's laboratory and towards their destination. Robots kept slowly advancing on the three until they actually breached the labs, of course that was when things got a tad dicey. There were some foot soldiers that tried to hamper their progress, but a few stun arrows from the Green Arrow did the trick. Without warning, the Lantern conjured up an emerald buzzsaw and started cutting through the floor.
With a loud thud, a 10x10 chunk of steel fell a level and crushed a small squad of soldiers. The rest that were down there ran like the rats they were when they saw Plasma lead the charge. Again, Plasma cut through another chunk of steel flooring, only this time, he conjured up a claw and moved it to the side.
"Batman, I'm not seeing anything at all," Plasma said as his companions held off any would-be attackers.
"Change in plans. Contact is in the main chamber... where our destination is," Batman said as static started to pick up slightly. "My team is almost there."
"Hold them off a bit longer," Plasma said as he started scanning the walls for their destination. Right when he saw where they needed to go, he saw something breaching walls until the one in front of him blistered in his direction. Almost in a reflexive manner, he made an energy shield which kept his team safe, but the soldiers weren't so lucky.
"Kara, you gotta let me know these things," Plasma said to Supergirl.
"Sorry," the blonde-haired Kryptonian said with a smirk. "But I thought you three could use a quick and easy path to Luthor.
"Batman's doing?" Supergirl nodded her head and flew off back the way she came.
"Alright, guys. On the move. Let's go!," Plasma said as he, himself flew in the direction of Supergirl. While Plasma flew straight to the chamber, noting all the soldiers and staff of Luthor who were incapacitated. Plasma and Supergirl didn't wait when they got to the chamber. She melted the glass with her heat vision, and Plasma flew in first.
"That must be the contact," Plasma said absently. The room was nearly pitch-black except for the solitary light which shown on the giant machine next to the girl lying on the floor. From one side of the room, he saw that some doors were opening up, shining another light into the room.
"Batman. Someone's entering the room, I'm moving in," Plasma said, "Kara bring the others down in one minute, tops."
"I'm breaching in two," Batman said, "Hold them off until we can get in."
Plasma knew he was going to say that, but it went without question. Absently, Plasma stepped off into the air and fell down roughly fifty feet, but before he hit the ground, he caught himself with his energies and settled himself next to the girl. She was fair skinned with white hair. She reminded him slightly of Lydia when she was a bit younger. Standing tall between whoever was walking in and the unconcious girl on the floor, Plasma was not taken aback when he saw who it was walking in.
"Well now. I was wondering when the almighty Justice League was going to come knocking at my door. It's a shame they only sent their resident rookie," Luthor said with a snide tone in his voice. As he said that, the others; Batman, Green Arrow, Sibyl, Mind Freak, and Supergirl came barreling down into the chamber, each of them taking position next to Plasma.
"Underestimating us doesn't seem like your..." Plasma didn't get a chance to retort as Batman barked at Luthor.
"What's your game, Lex?"
"That... well, that's something you will have to wait to see. And we have approximately one minute left until it is revealed." Plasma did not notice the machine in the room humming louder and louder. All the crashing through walls and sheering of metal, not to mention the volume of his earpiece distracted him slightly.
"Guys... I don't like the looks of this...," Plasma said as he assumed a defensive posture. "We need to put a stop to this!" Plasma wasn't the technical kind of guy, but remembered what Mind Freak said earlier. This wasn't something to just rip apart wantonly. Who knew what would happen if that were to happen. "Batman, if you have any suggestions, I'm totally up for that!"

Being summoned by Xavier was one thing, but being sent off to Stark was another, especially when the invitation was from Richards. Teagan knew about the Avengers. Every X-Men knew about the Avengers. Some X-Men had even gone on to be Avengers...or atleast try. Or so, that's what Teagan thought. She had trouble keeping track of where her old teammates went off to when they left the mansion. Needless to say, she wasn't too enthusiastic, but complied at the very least.
Upon arriving, and gathering with the others who apparently had been attacked, were going to be attacked, or were some form of Avenger, she couldn't help but feel glad she had thrown her uniform in a bag. Being called to a gathering of heroes and mutants always meant work. New York City. It always had to be somewhere big, didn't it? Teagan couldn't help but shake her head. It was all a bunch of same-old-same-old that she had grown to get used to. Secret weapons, trying to take over the world, trying to destroy mankind...it was always the same plan. The only thing that needed changing was the name of the villian. Doom was a name she was only vaguely familiar with. From what she knew, Dr. Doom was more of..an Avengers or Fantastic Four problem. X-Men had their own issues. She really would have prefered to take care of her own issues, but she had been asked there for a certain reason. Doom was behind her little attempted abduction. The least she could do was try and get a little revenge.
After changing into the uniform she was now very greatful she brought along, and managing to accidently loose her bag somewhere in the tower, she followed the crowd to the jets. She used to hate flying, but now it was something that felt like an everyday sort of thing. She climbed onto the jet, avoiding making any unwanted conversation with her "team mates". As she listened to Richards speak, she rose a brow. So that's what team A was for; make sure team B got in safely. She chuckled and shook her head. Go figure.
Everyone seemed immediately absorbed in the battle. Venin, however gave it a second to blend in. She had no problem jumping right in after a moment. She delt better with close-range battles, and besides, so long as the villians breathed, she knew she would be able to help.

Sibyl heaved aside a robot spitting out sparks while ducking the incoming blow from another. The sounds of the battle were swarming her head, and instead of suffocating her, it surged her on. She could barely make out Plasma's command as they fought on, but she picked up the basis message. Find a way in.
Before Sibyl could even come up with something, a nearby wall exploded, sending debris and robots flying in every which direction. She found herself safely behind a green energy, courtesy of Plasma, she presumed, when the smoke and dust settled, revealing Metropolis' very own Supergirl.
Plasma flew ahead of the others, going through the walls like only he could. Kara made quick work of the remaining walls, and soon the rest of the group was racing down to the chamber to find Lex Luthor himself conversely with Plasma.
"We've only got a minute," Sibyl murmured from her stance near the Green Arrow just before Luthor stated that very same thing whilst he showcased his machine. Connor turned and gave her a questioning look when Lex confirmed her statement. Not straying her sights from the humming machine she simply stated, "it's what I do." Satisfied, the Green Arrow gave her nod before turning to glare at Lex's menacing figure.
"Instead of waiting for whatever's going to happen to happen, shouldn't we look for an 'off' switch? Or, say, destroy the machine?" Futile words, Sibyl realized once they had left her mouth. They only had about thirty seconds left. Before something bad happened. Something very bad.
Without giving it a second thought, Sibyl pulled out her gun and trained it on her employer, a twinge of guilt struck her but she steadied her firearm. "How do we shut it off, Luthor?" She practically screamed out the demand and, for a split second, was worried he would recognize her voice, but it didn't matter, especially if this machine was as catastrophic as Mind Freak played it out to be.
"What I'm doing here, today, you couldn't hope to understand. This is history in the making. Why would you want to stop that? Why would any of you want to stop that?" The lights over head sputtered and flickered as the machine hummed louder, dials spinning out of control. The high whine in the room was too much for Sibyl and she clutched her ears in attempts to keep the sounds out.
Lex just laughed when her weapon lowered, "It's showtime."

As the rays of sunshine try to slip through the cracks in the shades of William's bedroom, one ray in particular causes him no end of trouble, a direct beam of light into his right eye. Groaning, he shuts his eye as tightly as he can, and much to his suprise, it becomes completely black. Bolting upright in shock, William quickly reaches his hand to his eye. Feeling it as he opens it, he feels the slickness of his gel. "Too receptive to my desires," he notes, scribbling down this note on a pad he keeps by his bed. Swinging his legs over the side of his bed, he grabs his robe, which nicely compliments his boxers. Slipping his slippers on, scratching the back of his head, he heads for his door, grabbing the paper, closing his door with a bang.
Entering the kitchen, he sits down, opening the paper. This part of the day had become much easier since the accident and gift of his powers. Flipping through the headlines, he thinks about grabbing cereal, a bowl, spoon, and milk. Gel arms rise out of his robes, reaching around the kitchen, one arm per task, a three 'fingered' hand grabbing what he desires. Since he had recieved his powers, Will had discovered that they were incredibly easy to control, and had developed them rapidly. The gel was enchacing his body and mind far beyond what he would have hoped for, and he made it look easy. It had also increased his productivity by about 400%. He could sinc with the computers and the nano-bots, operating them just with his thoughts. And when manual labor was required, he could lift anything in the lab with one hand, and his hands didn't tire, there were no twitches, soreness, it was a blessing.
After finishing his cereal and making himself coffee, William enters his lab. He had built his living quarters into the lab, and with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and even a sort of media room, he had everything he needed for personal needs, and his lab supplied the rest. As he surveys his lab, he notices that Lisa still hadn't cleaned up her area. He would do it, but after the scoulding he got after last time, it wasn't worth it to him. Heading to his workstation, he grabs a slide dish, and holds his right index finger over it. He didn't even need to p***k it anymore, he could open it with his thoughts. As the needed drop of blood falls onto the slide dish, he inspects his finger. At the point that his finger had opened up, there was only the tinyest of marks, which as he watched, fades as his normal body functions take over to close the skin.
Returning his focus to the slide dish, he notes that it looks normal to the naked eye, but under the mircoscope, well, it was a different story. Inspecting it, he notes the change in celular apperance. It was subtle and easy to miss unless he was looking for it, but it was different. He had delt with enough blood for nano-bots to know this. However, it was when it came into contact with his body, that things got wierd. Pulling a hair off his head, he takes it between his thumb and forefinger, placing the hair on the blood. By concentrating, he could make the blood move, he was even begining to make it take shape. Adding this to the notes in his personal computer, he leans back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling. Due to the delicate nature of this, his computer was disabled from any sort of internet or other inter-machine comunication. Knowledge and his power had seen to that. As he begins to zone out, the ding of the elevator snaps him out of his daydreaming. Stepping off the elevator, Lisa gives Will a nod. When she first joined, she was surpised at his personal habbits. However, his skill in his work allowed him to be excentric. And of course, after the accident, she didn't even seem to notice that.
"Let's get started, shall we?" William enquires, both knowing it wasn't a question.
"Sure," Lisa replies, powering up her compter, something obviously on her mind.

Marvel Universe: Important Game Post
Ceres nodded to Ghost in agreement, "Good move, Ghost. More than likely this will get most out. I have a feeling that Dr. Doom is going to keep his closest pets inside if he needs their power for his machine."
Ghost's move was well played because it worked. Out of the gates stormed more villains known and unknown. Avalanche, Electro, Klaw, and Living Laser came out of the building along with a group of ten or fifteen elementals. Before she could move her course to go after Avalanche, who was now uprooting trees, cars and neighboring buildings, she had to dive to the ground to avoid assult from a fireball wave coming at her from ex-husband, David Doyle... or as he was often known, Brand.
Holding her hand out, she picked fought with him, literally, over control of the wave of flames that were now redirected at Ghost, "Ghost! Take cover!"
She rolled to her side with her hand out stretched. Sweat started to bead on her brow as she was trying to mentally push control of the fire away from it's creator. Brand (David) came up behind her and kicked her in the back to try to break her concentration. Quickly acting, she redirected some of the earth that Avalanche was disrupting and pushed it into David throwing him off balance. This allowed her to push the fire balls up into the air and out of harms way.
"David! You are a disgrace," She turned and yelled at him pushing more rubble and rock at him only to dodge flames herself, "You should still be in prison!"
"Well, my goody two shoes ex-wife... Dr. Doom has better plans for me than the state of New York. Why don't you get off your high horse for once and look at who is really going to be doing some good for this b*****d of a planet?"
She scoffed at him, "I'm glad to see you're still as dillusional as ever. It will give me more pleasure hauling you in this time around."
At the sound of incarceration, David knocked Ceres back with a solid wave of fire which was more heated than she ever remembered him getting. Wind, bow to me. She moved the air currents around to funnel the fire he was producing into a tornado of sorts. With the cyclone of fire, she knocked Brand down along with Pyro and Avalanche before sending it to dissolve into....
It suddenly seemed to not matter.
Ceres felt a huge disruption in the Earth's energy fields. She screamed in horrific pain as if it were hurting her.. and in a way, it was. Her whole mutant power was tied into the Earth and it's aura and elements. Her pain was enough to grab the attention of most around her.
"No! Doom!" was all she could scream as she clenched at her chest and fell to her knees. She knew that Doom had activated that machine they were there to stop. Faliure...
The world around them was suddenly stricken by a blinding white light. To Ceres, it felt like the fabric of each person and each molecule of the planet was being distorted, rearranged, torn apart, and then put back into place... As they were caught into the blinding like, she could hear a collective gasp, and then once the light vanished... she could hear a collective hush.
The world was suddenly quiet, a deafening quiet. Her body ached like the Earth was crying, bleeding... weakened, and patched together in a horribly painful way. As their vision started to clear, what could be seen in front of Team A was not what was there before...
Doom's castle was no more. Most of the world around them was not what it was before. It was like they stood on the edge of a different world... their backs were to the door of their own and their faces touched something grossly manipulated by Doom... her eyes couldn't comprehend... but all she knew was that David Doyle no longer stood in front of her... and the Earth had something unnatural and wrong happen to it.
"Reed..." She gasped trying to figure out what Avengers were still around her. Her head was too foggy. Ceres collapsed face first into the dirt.

Ghost phased through the fire and was about to aid Ceres in her fight but suddenly he was hit with a sort of wave of strange energy and being as how his powers slightly disrupted him with the energys of the world being half dead he watched as his entire body seemed to lose focus and quickly reverted back to his Human form then as Geovani he seemed to see the world torn apart then molecule by molecule put back together and as he looked nothing seemed to be the same as it was before he had seen this.
he heard Ceres call out for Reed then saw her fall and ran over. "Ceres you are alright da?" he said his thick russian accent showing itself yet again.

A new world?
It hppened so suddenly. Forellen wasn't sure how many of the elementals she had taken down. she had turned to rejoin her companions because she didn't want to get to deep into the enemy mass. A decision that she now felt had just saved her life. She couldn't even begin to describe what she saw and what she felt but she soon stood shifting back to normal the battle over looking to where Dooms base had been and seeing something different. "Ceres?" Forellen asked walking over to them still in a daze.

She heard Ghost talk to her. It took quite a bit for the words to register in her head. What was he asking her. The imbalance of the world seemed to ring in her head... or was it that her powers were getting used to a new balance... she felt strange.
"Ghost," was about all she could say at first before an important command registered in her head by Reed Richards.
"Team A, fall back!" was heard loud and clear over their communication links. She let herself be pulled off the ground by Shifter and Ghost. They seemed, in her head, to stumble back from the perimeter of the catastrophe that just happened. But what had just happened still remained a mystery.
There were new people, new faces standing in the area that once contained Doom's castle. They seemed somewhat confused, and yet she couldn't help but wonder aloud...
"Did Doom just soup up his soldiers with his machine?" That was one of the first logical solutions. What else would explain it? Of course, that didn't explain why the buildings behind Doom's castle were all different... everything as they could see it behind Doom's new headquarters was different.
"Where is Team B?" She also asked not really knowing if Captain America or Reed Richards were listening to her. Where was Tony...

DC Universe.... for the time being
"Mind Freak!," Batman shouted as he threw a couple of batarangs at some oncoming guards, "Give me a hand with this, the rest of you, buy us what little time we have left!"
Without hesitation, Plasma started firing bolts of green light at some of the guards, while the Green Arrow started knocking some of the other guards down with stun arrows. A few of the guards were rather resilient, so in line with them getting close, the Lantern conjured up a broadsword and shield and started to take care of them in close combat. All the while, the machine in the room hummed louder and louder.
Supergirl tried to go straight after Lex, but true to himself, he had a chunk of Kryptonite in his pocket. That, doubled with the high pitched whine of the machine incapacitated Kara to the point where she was doubled up in the fetal position.
"Someone take care of that space rock! He'll kill Supergirl!," Plasma shouted as he sliced through a guards armor, knocking the poor fool to the ground. Sibyl, as far as he saw, was doing things the way she did things. Sooner or later, he was going to have to ask her what her game was. All the while, the clock was ticking. As the battle raged on for what little time there was, Plasma took to firing a bolt of energy at some guards. They too had energy shields, which deflected right into the machine.
"Plasma! No more blasts!," Batman barked as he and Mind Freak worked furiously at shutting that thing off. It seemed fruitless. Just when it seemed all was for naught, Plasma heard someone in his ear.
"Plasma, Clark here. I finally was able to talk to Solovar. He told me the tech that Luthor stole will give boundless energy to every citizen as per his plan. However," Superman stopped for a minute... or Plasma didn't hear him as he cut down another three guards.
"Speak up, boy scout, I've got my hands full!," Plasma said loudly.
Superman didn't hesitate in repeating himself. "Solovar said that usage of the device will rip apart the very fabric of the multi-verse."
"Oh this is just...."
"We can't stop it!!!," Batman shouted as he and Mind Freak jumped away. As they bolted from the device's control panel, Batman, in a last ditch effort, threw a couple of batarangs, which stuck into the panel, causing a huge sparking. It was for naught.
"And you told me not to hit..." That was the last thing that Plasma remembered saying as he felt himself being ripped apart. Not only that, he could feel the vast cosmic energy imbued to him through his ring evaporate like rain off of a hot, summer's sidewalk. He felt himself being ripped asunder, like he was being put in a centrifuge. The more he felt like he was dying, the more he felt like things were being restructured, like he was being put back together piece by piece. And just when it felt like everything was lost, it seemed that everything was back in order.
Existence seemed to come back to light. Plasma looked around and saw all of his compatriots; Connor, Kara, Bruce, Sibyl, Mind Freak. But he also saw Luthor, and he also saw Kara still incapacitated by the kryptonite that Luthor held in his hand. Plasma was about ready to fire a blast of energy at Luthor, but Luthor only smiled wickedly at the Lantern. Here T.J. was, bereft of his powers, standing in his civilian garb. Plus, for as much as he wanted to summon the will to change, he couldn't.
In a fit of desperation, Crawford ran forward and tackled Luthor to the ground. With two movements, T.J. blocked a punch towards his head, and managed to wrest away the kryptonite from Luthor. Luthor again threw a punch, this time T.J. vined his arm around the incoming punch, pinned Luthor's arm to the ground, and pulled his handgun from the holster hidden under his overcoat.
With the hammer cocked, T.J. placed the gun's barrel directly between Luthor's eyes. "What the hell did you do?!?!," T.J. yelled, oblivious to everything else around him. Little did he realize, things were starting to take an unexpected turn.

Yay, my last header!!
Mindfreak was watching, tense, as Plasma pulled the gun out of his cop uniform and pointed it at Luthor, leaving Mind Freak to ponder how one can be a vigilantee and a cop at the same time. Either way, something big had just happened. They were all supposed to be dead. D-e-a-d dead, and they weren't. But with his presence of mind, he grabbed the Kryptonite and threw it at Batman so he could secure in in one of his utility pockets to hide its radiation.
Seeing that everyone was in control, Shane asked what was probably on everyones mind: "So, we're alive, right? His machine failed at killing all of us or something. So we won, and he lost? I- I'm going to go outside and make sure everything is okay, and we aren't floating in some sea of nothingness."
At first at a walk, and then a run after his stomach stopped being queasy, Mind Freak made it too the top of the building where he could survey everything around him.
But he didn't survey anything, or look at anything. Anything except Metropolis. And that is because it wasn't Metropolis, at least as far as he could tell. The Skyline was all wrong, completely wrong.

And the bolding sessions begin...
Sibyl nodded at her team mate's announcement, driving away in her mind the fact Lex's machine was supposed to kill everyone, and watched out the corner of her eye as Mind Freak went to investigate further, trying to settle the uneasy feeling in her gut. She never removed her sights, though, from the group of costumed fighters that had seemingly appeared out of thin air. A red headed woman in a bright blue uniform, leaning against a man in a long red coat and a blue skinned individual sporting horns and a tan outfit with a "X" insignia on the chest.
"Stay alert," she hissed to Batman and Supergirl, who had fortunately shaken off most of the affects of Luthor's kryptonite rock once the Dark Knight safely tucked it away into his belt. "They're expecting re-enforcements."
Sibyl watched for reactions out of the new arrivals concerning the gun currently cocked against the millionaire's head, sure if they tried to make a move towards Plasma, she would easily intercept. And as the tension between the two groups intensified, she could hear Gotham's finest radio his charge.
"Mind Freak, give me a report," she shook her head at what Batman was to say, snorting at his brass demand. The fact he wasn't much of the talker when he was in crime fighting mode was well known. The comms whined as everyone awaited an answer from the youngest hero on the scene.
Sibyl glanced toward the fallen figure next to the machine without turning her head. Plasma was the closest to her, but he was currently engaged with Lex Luthor. Supergirl seemed to read her mind, or caught the nudge of her head, either way she closed the distance quickly, and knelt beside the young girl, checking her condition among the shattered glass on the ground.
"How bad is she?" Even as the violet haired woman asked, she could hear Kara's response in her head and she sighed in disappointment before Supergirl could even form the words.
"She's alive, but we can't tell much more until she wakes up."
The innocent never last long in this business, Sibyl thought with a grim look planted on her face, fingers itching above her holster as she stood her ground.

DC Universe
"Something is going on at the Luthor building," Will notes. Part of living in downtown Metropolis, everyone could see that blasted building. Opening the doors to the balcony, he stares at the light comming from it. "That isn't..." He doesn't finish, a beam of the light, bounced off the windows of the buildings strikes him in the chest, sending him to the other world, along with the others.
Marvel Universe.
"Right," Will finishes, turning back to look at Lisa. She isn't there, his lab ins't back there either, not even his building. "Huh...." It was all he could thing of saying, and as he turns, he sees other people. Some he knew from the news, others, he had no idea, as did they.
"What the hell is going on?!" He shouts, turning around in his spot, trying to take in this new surrounding, this new, well, everyting.

Who were those people? And where was their B team? Were these goons that Doom cooked up.
"What the hell did you do Doom?" She grimaced pulling herself up to her feet. She looked towards Captain America and Mr. Fantastic for some guidance. Her gut was telling her to charge the building and find their friends.
Captain America spoke to Mr. Fantastic, "There is no signal from the other team. We're getting no reads off this building. I can't get a signal from Stark Towers. It seems like Doom has jammed communications. I've never seen any of these characters before, but we have to get into that building and search for our team and make sure Doom's machine is destroyed."
Ceres whispered almost under her breath, "But there are bigger things wrong here..." Although, Cap was right, they had to make sure that machine was destroyed.
Captain America walked to the head of their team along with Mr. Fantastic and spoke to the new heroes that they saw near the strangely altered building, "We don't know who you are and who you work for... but we are going into that building to look for our missing team and to destroy whatever machine caused this chaos. Do not stand in our way or we will be forced to fight you."
Ceres looked at the people across the way and recognized their expressions, "They look just as confused as we are."
"No matter, Ceres. We have a top priority mission at the moment. We will sort the rest out later. Team, stay close and stay powered up. Ceres, take Shifter and go inside to see what you see. The rest, we're going through the front door." Captain America led the descent towards the building [little known to them Lex Luthor's building].
"Shifter, make yourself small," She pointed to her shoulder, "I need you close to bring you in with me."
