Isaac had slightly dazed during the herding and paying and everything else. It was one of his many 'zoning-out' episodes. As the elevator dinged he snapped back to reality again. "Night of fun? I have a feeling I may regret this, but yeah, okay." He flipped the room card around with his fingers and flung it into his pocket. "Good, she's happy."

Mimi was now standing in the garage of Balamb Garden, a ring of keys twirling around her finger. In her dormitory room, on her desk, the folder that the headmaster lay. She had no need for it now that she had throughly gone over it. After all, she knew who it was she was looking for. Stolling through the garage, she stopped next to a rather large and very sturdy looking vehicle colored a dark titanium gray. It was one of the largest transport vehicles open for recreational use and the headmaster had given her permission.

Unlocking a side panel, she pulled the door open above her and stepped in. Pulling it back down from the inside, she walked through the passenger room, where bench seats lined the two walls and made her way to the driver's section. Slipping into the seat, she inserted the key - which was morel like a card, really - and pulled out of the garage. It was a cool night, and Mimi wished that she could open some window to let in the fresh crisp air. Considering that it was the middle of summer, it was rather warm outside. The drive to Deling didn't take long, at least not on the main roads. If she had to go off-road, well, that would have been another matter.

Deling was lit brightly, the town's people had strung lights all across the streets and the stores and markets were still open. As Mimi parked the vehicle, she stepped back into the passenger section and checked one of the closets. Inside there was a rather large sword with a hook for the handle. It almost looked like a gunblade, but the handle of the blade was not furnished quite the same. Leaving the blade, she stepped out of the car and locked the door. People were strolling happily through the town, and hopefully none of them would recognize her as a SeeD member. After all, she wasn't wearing the uniform and the vehicle had no SeeD or Balamb insignia plastered on it. With her hands jammed into the pockets of her shorts, Mimi began strolling the streets of Deling, checking people's faces as she made her way towards the dock, with a hope that perhaps she would run into them.

Rainer's grin widened at Isaac's confirmation. She pulled him toward their rooms, almost dancing with impatience and excitement.
"Don't put that key away yet, Isaac," Rainer said, "because we can't go out looking like this." Rainer shook her head in a very matter-of-fact way. "No, this won't do. Let's go shower and change into some fresh clothes. I'll wait in the lobby for you, 'kay?" With this, Rainer pushed him towards his room and she slid the card into the lock and slipped into her room.
The room had two twin beds and a small, four-person table in the back. There was a large mirror with sinks on the wall closest to the door, and a bathroom. The bathroom had a simple shower and toilet and sink. Rainer quickly stripped her clothes and got into the shower.
After her shower, Rainer dried out her long, loose, wet hair and dressed. She wore another tank top, and long black pants tucked into her leather boots. Shrugging into a SeeD uniform jacket (it was the only one she brought), Rainer looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was still a mess, but all it needed was a brushing. No putting it back tonight.
Shortly, Rainer, neat and tidy, took the elevator down to the lobby where she sat and played with strands of her black hair.

Isaac had nodded to Rainer as she went into her room. He flicked the card out of his pocket and swiped it through the lock. Afterward fwiping it across the room as he entered. It hit the wall and fell neatly onto a table. "Too bad I always try to travel light..." Isaac didn't actually have another set of clothes. So after his very quick shower he washed them in a sink. He ruffled his hair like he usually did, so it was in its normal state of untidy. He picked the keycard up from the table and laid his sword where it once was. He rummaged through the pouch at his lower back and heard his knives and gil jingle. He slammed the door as he turned and raced out of the room. He straightened his personal jacket and checked to make sure the Esther SeeD insignia on the inside. He stepped out of the elevator to find Rainer already waiting. “Sorry, there was something I had to do…” He said really not hoping to have to explain further.

Rainer smiled and shook her head.
"No, it's fine. I just got here about a minute ago." Noticing his SeeD jacket identical to hers, save some of the cut, Rainer smiled and stood. Grabbing his arm, Rainer started to walk.
"So where to, Sir?" she asked with a small smirk on her face. "There's the bar downstairs -I know you're not legal yet, but we can still listen to music- or we can cruise around the city." Rainer's smirk broadened into a smile. "There are many beautiful sights."
Rainer knew she was acting different but seeing James brought her usual self out. She was glad he came along; if he hadn't, she and Isaac probably wouldn't be hanging out like this.
"So what's it gonna be?" Rainer asked, green eyes sparkling.

In all actuality, James didn't have any errands to run. He was following a gut feeling that he had picked up on his way to Deling City. His guess was that someone would pick them up, them being himself, Rainer, and Isaac. It would be someone from Balamb, obviously, but who was the question. He had been through Deling at all times of the day searching for some kind of sign, but he wasn't able to find anything. However was looking for him was doing a good job of hiding it.

"Whoever the Balamb Messenger is, they don't want to be found out." James said to himself, heading away from the docks. The evening would roll in soon, and so he figured he had best head back to the hotel. Unknowingly he actually passed Mimi, the one that he was indeed looking for, while he was talking to himself on the return trip, "I hope I find them sooner rather than later. That message that Rainer and Isaac have needs to get to Balamb sooner rather than later."

Upon reaching the city Beatriz asked for directions for the location of the Galbadia Hotel. The vendor pointed a building adjacent to her and sigh. I didn't noticed that she thought glumly.

Meeting her would be "boss" really made her nervous. All the headmaster told her was she had to find Rainer and that she would be assigned to assist her with the mission. She still doesn't know what the mission entails and Rainer would be the one to tell her what it was.She really doesn't know her that much, she knew some facts about her like she's a rank higher than she was and got a long braided black hair with a pair of green eyes.

She entered the building and asked the receptionist about Rainer and just gave her a card. She took it and went upstairs and found herself staring at the door where she could find her and sigh as she swiped the card and peeked inside the room. She cleared her throat and said "Umm.. Excuse me. I'm looking for umm..Ms. Rainer de Weistrasse?" her voice trailed off as her eyes wondered inside the room.

(They're leaving the lobby now...)

Isaac thought for a moment, two of the choices were appealing. "Let's go raid the city, in a good way. I have some spare gil. So maybe we could get some stuff too." Isaac was one of the few males you would find that find shopping interesting. He always liked new stuff.

Mimi, as she was strolling towards the docks, listened to the conversations of those around her. she had slowly grown bored of her tedious task when a few stray words attracted her attention. She turned around and watched the retreating back of a man who had just mentioned a Balamb messenger. Hearing his complaint that the messenger was making themselves hard to find, Mimi sighed.

Perhaps she should've worn that uniform of hers.

Turning around quickly, she followed the man who was most likely heading back to the hotel. Mimi had purposefully avoided traveling to the hotel first, in a way hoping to postpone the meeting. The man she was following was rather large in stature. And if she didn't have a lack of fear issue, he might have appeared intimidating to her.

With a sigh, and believing that this message was probably too urgent for her to be wasting her time. She quietly caught up to the man. Hopefully before he could notice her, she was standing right behind him. "Excuse me, sir?" She tapped him lightly on the shoulder. "Could I please talk to you?"

((what they're at the lobby..?!))

The woman who faced her was quite shocked and told her "Miss I think the one you were looking for just left a few minutes ago you can still chase them, i think. I'm the houskeeper of this room"
"Thank you Mam" she answered and runs again hoping to still find them in the lobby. As soon as she reached the ground floor she saw a guy together with a girl who exactly fits the description the headmaster gave her and they were about to leave, she runs and catches up with them
"Escuse me, Are you Ms. Rainer de Weistrasse?" she asked while catching her breath.

"I would assume you are the messenger from Balamb Garden then?" James asked, slowly coming to a stop before turning around, "You've been following me since shortly after I left the docks, haven't you? Of course you may speak with me, but it can't be here. Please, follow me."

James led Mimi, still not knowing her name, through the crowds of people in Deling City. The evening was beginning to roll in, the excruciating afternoon temperatures rolling out to be replaced by the cooler night temps. With the overall temperature dropping, more and more people were starting to filter into the streets for evening shopping and partying. So, James led the way around the crowds toward Deling's famous Arch.

Eventually the two made their way to the Arch. James continued to lead the way around the backside of the arch to a secondary door. It was hidden by bushes, shrubs, and trees so not many people knew about it, it seemed. James did though, which probably freaked Mimi out some.

The two climbed a latter up to the top of the Archway before James finally spoke again, "I'm sorry for all of the suspicion and secrets. My name is James Gunnar, and the Galbadian Army has ears everywhere. I'm an A Class SeeD from Esthar Garden, and I'm supervising the two students that you're supposed to deliver a message to. And you are?"

Rainer nodded at Isaac.
"That sounds great," and indeed, it did. Though Rainer didn't get out often, she still loved to go around looking for new things. Just as they were about to leave, a young woman came up to them, looking for Rainer.
Rainer frowned. The girl was probably about a year or two younger than her, with long black hair like Rainer's.
"Why, yes, I am Rainer. Who are you?"

She was so nervous specially when Beatriz saw Rainer frowned she bowed politely and introduced herself "I'm Beatriz Woltar. The headmaster told me that you were going to be my superior for this mission." she said.

A small smirk spread across Mimi's features as she listened to the man. He knew what he was doing, and he had a rather confident air about him . . . something that Mimi respected. She was about to suggest they go somewhere else, but he beat her to it. With a nod, she followed him, an eyebrow raised as they passed the Arch of Deling.

As she followed him to a secondary door, she shook her head. Very few people knew about it. She climbed a ladder to the top and when the reached it, she found a spot to lean against, her arms crossed over her chest in a rather lax manner.

"It's fine," she replied. "Personally, I would rather keep this secretive than have to deal with eavesdropping Galbadian's later. I know who you are, James. Your headmaster sent your files, along with Rainer's, Beatriz's, and Isaac's." She sighed and ran her fingers through stray strands of hair. "I hear tell that the Galbadian Army is on the move again. And after sixty years . . . well, we shall see where this gets us. By the way, the name's Mimi. I work at Balamb Garden, as I'm sure you know already." She held her hand out in polite respect as she introduced herself to James.

"Many people know who you are, Mimi." James took her hand and shook it politely before also leaning up against the bricks, "SeeD rank of twenty at the age of nineteen, only two years after you joined us. The girl who, at a very young age, tamed the Great Dragon Bahamut and brought him under her control. And last but not least, the girl who shares the name of one of Ultimecia's conquerers, Leonheart."

James turned so that he could see most of the city while still leaning against the bricks. He knew exactly who she was when he saw her. She was one of Balamb's most talented SeeD members, despite the fact that she was still so young. If she kept up at the rate she was going, he expected her to reach SeeD rank A about the same time that he did. She truly was a talented girl, so it was no surprise that the Balamb Headmaster sent her.

James finally spoke again, "You too have a file in Esthar. But don't worry, your secret is safe with me. I know just how much you love your last name. Now tell me Mimi, what was it that brought you here to Deling? I would hate to see someone with your talents playing messenger or delivery girl."
