Gohsty thoughts have been keeping me up lately.

Do you, my fellow F.U.C.K.S, know what Waverly Hills is?

Hang on, hang on... I think I read about this... Isn't that the sanitorium that's supposed to be one of the nation's most haunted places?

Edit: Oh, that's right... It's right near where you live, isn't it?

A lot of the legend is myth, you know.

The Sanitarium?

The other night something kept bothering me and it was keeping me from sleeping. The thought was so twisted and out there in left field that I told myself to remember to jot it down and tell you guys about it... but I forgot to and can't remember what I was so deep in thought about. I fail.

LOL I didn't think it took me three minutes to type. Now I just look like I'm a broken record. D:

I was reading up on serial killers last night, and accidentally stumbled across some crime scene photos. THAT kept me up alright. YEESH.

You ever have that where every time you close your eyes you see something horrific? yeaaah.

Right, the T.B. Hospital. I was sure you lot would know! ^^ Yeah, it's about a 15 or 20 minute drive from my house.
Someone Bookie and I know, their Grandfather was the guy that slid the dead patients down the body chute. And people I know have told me some super spooky s**t about it.
A lady I work with, she lives just down the hill and across the street from it. She says it's spooky, it looms, gutted and reeking of death up there, and stares down on that highway like something bad. They're planning on renovating it and making it a Bed and Breakfast soon.
Anyway, since it's one of the most haunted places there was a special on the Sci-fi channel, live coverage from 9pm to 6am on Halloween night, some of the stories I've been thinking of make it hard for me to sleep.

I know what you mean, Mass Req, THAT'S What keeps me up too. Being killed my a brick and head wounds specifically. D:
I have such a rampant imagination I picture things like that, descriptions are enough, never mind actual pictures.

I wanna know Mr. Sanity's awful thought....... kinda.

Miss Gummi, if you haven't already, you ought to read the wiki on Waverly Hills. It should put your mind at ease.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 05, 2007 8:45 pm

I had not... it had a lot of information on the history of the place. ^^ It was actually an enjoyable read... and even though 63,000 people didn't die there, an estmated 7,000 did..... and that's still a lot of people. And that means a higher chance fer ghosts.
I'm not sure if I'm much more at ease, but I know more about it! ;D
Dunno if I'll be sleeping better, but thanks fer the suggestion, hunny.

Well at least you got some fun (?) history in the process.

YAY, updates to the Cat Orgy thread! That's been keeping me up. No, really.

+ New Fanart
+Birthdays and up-to-date ages
+ new storyline, though Gummi's probably already read it
+ new arts from me, which Gummi has probably ALSO seen

SRSLY, I was up half the night sketching Greenie and Merlot in a department store, shopping for their new appartment. In one of them, Merlot is looking at flatware and saying "Makes it feel like we're a married couple, doesn't it?" and Greenie is saying, "No, married couples have registries so OTHER people buy them all this stuff. Hey, what do you think of these drapes?"

I caught part of the show on SciFi. I was just flipping through channels and happened to see some of the show.

An art idea started driving me crazy. I don't have time to draw or I'm not in the mood to draw... but the idea still eats at me. It's enough to make me go crazy. lol :D
I'm thinking I should at least sketch it out. Maybe think about painting it. I don't know. Never was good at painting.
I plan on drawing a sheep in wolf skin... I got the idea from that old adage, " a wolf in sheep's clothing." It's hard to explain, but you wonderful people are a smart bunch. I know that you know what I'm talking about. lol

And with that said, I'm going to try to sleep. 2am and I'm still wide awake. Just once, I'd like to go to bed before midnight.

I hearyou on the insomnia count, brother. I sleep two, three hours a night on weeknights and then sleep it off on Saturday.

GAWD, I'm so unhealthy.

I keep a clutch of bitty sketchbooks with me for those crazy art ideas. I sketch them out and flip through the sketchbooks when I have time to draw or paint for SRS (instead of the silly things I post online).

Edit: those bittly sketchbooks have been getting a deluge of Greenie and Merlot. I pastedall of yesterday's doodles into a single image, now in the cat orgy thread!

This isn't so much as a thought that's kept me up, but more of a thing that kept me entertained for the most part while I couldn't sleep... I mean CAN'T sleep.

Anywho...

If there was one thing that I would like to try at least once... or twice... maybe even three or four times... it would have to be LSD. LOL
I don't care to do anything else, just acid. I don't know why. For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to try it. I just spent the last couple of hours reading about LSD and it's effects on the human brain, looking at blottersheet art, and learning a little bit about acid history lol... There's this one sheet art that I'd love to have, that's of Alice stepping through the looking glass. Of course there's nothing on the sheet, it's just art.

Drugs are bad, but still... I'd have rather done acid for the last 9 years than smoked cigarettes.

*sigh*

I did a report on LSD, and used descriptions given to me by my hippie parents.

Really? I don't recommend it. Some bad s**t had gone down when people were tripping: thinking they could fly and jumping out of seventh story windows, having a 'bad trip' and thinking their flesh was being eaten by maggots and therefore clawing their own skin off in an attemt to get the imaginary maggots off, thinking their neighbours were witches and that their furniture was conspiring to kill them...

Of course, it's also supposed to give you intense insight, and can result in the sensation of synthesia, where you can taste sounds or smell colours or see music. (Saw something on the discovery channel YEARS and YEARS ago. This fella was blind, but he had synthesia, so he could see music. He said he hated the French horn, because the sound looked like a piece of yellow construction paper.) Friend of mine said his father told him about acid. While on a trip, he'd thought he'd discovered the meaning of life, and he wrote it down. When he came down, though, he looked at the paper and it said, "A strong smell of ammonia."

It's all variable. You don't know whether you'll be lucky and be brilliant on acid (as some were) or if you will fry your brain and become a vegetable, or kill yourself while impaired.

I had a neighbour who fried her brain in the 60's. She would sit outside in her underwear, having a yard sale of cut up pieces of hose and aluminum cans and other junk. Finally she got taken away.

I'm sure you knew all of that, but that's my schtick on acid.

From what I understand, trips vary mostly on a person's mood and the strenght of the dosage. If I were to do it, it's not like I'm going to do it while upset or take a crap load of hits. I figure you can normally tell how a person's going to act on acid by the way alcohol affects them. I can't prove that this theory is true or not, for the lack of evidence and test subjects... lol

I've heard stories from my dad. He use to tell me the crazy trips he had while on it. I also had friends back in high school that use to smoke pot or do acid. I've seen them trip balls before.

I got most of my information from this site: http://www.egodeath.com/lsdus.htm#xtocid25317
I've seen what can happen to someone while on the drug... (thanks to friends and the internet lol).

From what I've read, lower doses of acid have almost the same affects as shrooms... maybe even absinthe.

::EDIT::
LOL I just realized how much it sounds like I'm determined to do acid. I don't want to give that impression. I don't plan on doing drugs of any sort, any time soon. I'm just a curious person. haha

Aww... I missed so many posts about mind altering expanding drugs O^O

It's all due to work, which happens to be what's keeping me up at night right now. Did I overprint the metallics? Did I trap enough of the transparent colors under the black? Did I even check the black channel for 100% saturation before sending the file off to San Diego *-*!

OH GOD I SCREWED UP AN ENTIRE SEASON OF SPITFIRE WHEELS!!!

Mmphgd... I'll be lurking but sparingly. I miss posting here. T^T

be back in like two weeks probably
