"Well enough. Hot and traveling is a challenge, though I find beauty in our surroundings, which is enjoyable." she replied. Closing her book, she held it in on hand. The other hand, she stretched out and moved in a pushing motion, which at first seemed to do nothing, but the chair she was in widened in to a couch, clearly she was offering him a seat also. "And what of yourself? Is all well for you of this trip?"

Yeah, pretty much.* Ali walked over and dropped down into the couch, leaning back in it and relaxing. Enjoying the night and the fact it was much colder now then in the day.* Tomorrow morning you'll get the firearm you are to use in the pyramid, magic is not allowed.

Tilting her head, she looked at him with an almost offended look. There was the potential for many things to go wrong where magic would be useful .. there had to be a reason. "Why not?" she asked politely, though the look of frustration remained as she watched him, studying him for his reaction while replying.

Because magic makes you spoiled and is an easy way to solve things.* Ali snapped back at her, Ali's entire training was based on having her be able to fight in the future without using magic. It was the only reason as to why he would train her. She knew magic, he was teaching her the other way to do things.* No magic, even if you like it or not.

"Things like this, I can understand .." she said as she stood and waved her hand again, the couch disappearing, leaving Ali to stand really fast or fall to the ground. "But when it comes to things like a persons well being and ability to succeed in a mission .. why? Why not use every skill you have to its fullest?" she said, looking almost sad now. "You said pyramids .. I assume they are old, what if it falls in on us?"

You're not going to die, My men has orders of protecting you even if they loose their life in the progress. They are soldiers and death comes with the territory, Same with me.* Ali slowly got up and brushed the sand off his pants and hands, watching her for a few moments.* You could always assist Hirja instead and make sure no scorpions exits the pyramid outside.

"I do not wish anyone to die because of me!" she said passionately. It did not ease her mind at all to know this; instead it did quite the opposite. She did not want to get in to that further, however. Her mind shifted, instead focused on his following words, thinking it through logically. "Are you certain there is but one entrance to the pyramid? Logically with four sides, it would be wise to have at least two on the exterior to be certain that all four sides can be watched for any escaping." she said with care, not questioning his judgment, but wanting to verify for her own sanity if one person watching the exterior was enough or if she had perhaps misunderstood Ali's words, more than one would be outside..?

Hirja and Viper squad will remain outside and make sure scorpions don't escape, I and Rhino squad will enter the pyramid. How Hirja divides Viper squad around the pyramid is up to him, I trust his judgement. You can choose where you want to be, inside the dusty and narrow pyramid or outside in the sun.* The pyramid would most likely be a large maze with corridors that offered little room to move around in and rooms that were relatively small, at least that's what Ali had read about other pyramids...this one could be different.*

Suddenly she looked as if she had just rememberd something important. "Ahh yes, I remember now when we were leaving you said that it would Hirja and his squad. Tonight as we spoke you merely mentioned his name individually. My apologies for the confusion, I trust the judgement of both you and Hirja .. simply wish to know that everyone is ideally assigned to a place where their strengths can be used to their fullest." she replied, feeling rather ashamed that she had made such a mistake. "I shall go with you as planned originally." she replied finally, bobbing her head slightly, showing resolve in her reply.

Good, I'll give you a quick weapon training tomorrow morning then with the firearm you are to use. As for now, Sleep well and don't let Private Gregor and Private Henders moans bother you too much. Since you have the tent next to them.* Ali smirked at her in a teasing manner before he waved and walked off to his tent, time to get some shut eye.*

"Of course." she replied with a slight grin. A moment later, she went around to the other side of the tent and perpared for sleep and what was to come the next day.

* Ali nudged Ziven as she lay sleeping in her sleeping bag, standing over her with a automatic rifle and the sun behind him.* Get up sleepy head, It's five in the morning.

Sretching the instant that he touched her, she yawned largely. "Alright. Time for tea first?" she asked - mornings were much more friendly after she had tea, a little caffeine first thing in the morning was all it took to get going. "I realize you say no magic but if you are looking for haste, I will conjure a cup, I drink fast." she said as she got up and, without thinking, brushed her hands over herself, freshening up and dressing appropriately for their day.

Everybody is packing and soon ready to leave, you're getting a quick training in this weapon and then we'll leave* Ali replied with a somewhat grumpy tone, it was no time to drink tea in a desert. What was she?, British?.*
