Actually, no. I need to stand up for the bis. It's not cool to discriminate against people because they happen to like the same gender. Nor is it fair to insinuate that bisexuals have to struggle less with their identity, do inferior soul-searching, than do 'real' homos. In fact, it may be harder. People often don't 'get' bisexuality. It's common to recieve a response like 'make up your mind'. And sometimes you have to deal with the second closet. I did. I was afraid that I would be taken as a second-class homo, as somehow less than the full sixes. But I'm not going to lie to myself, and I'm not going to lie to others. I can love whoever I want, all gender issues aside. Sound familiar? Yep, bis say the exact same thing the real queers do.

And the trend of teens 'turning' bi to get members of the opposite sex is ridiculous. You laugh when people say they can 'turn' a homo, or straighten them out, or any one of those euphemisms. Well, nobody 'turns' bi. If you don't like boys, the thought of kissing one is disgusting. You're just not going to do it. Especially if you're a breeder boy; they really, really aren't going to kiss each other. It goes against their 'manly pride'.

Don't you dare get down off of your soap box beautiful. You have every right to be upset with that statement. I have a saying in my siggy that matches this perfectly. "Intollerance=uninformed people that open their uninformed mouths" which is exactly what that person was. You can not become bisexual... there is all of this Gay rights and Gay tollerance, Gay understanding and Gay pride... what about those of us who like both genders. Why is there no Bi rights, and Bi tollerance and Bi understanding and mostly Bi pride. We have a right to have our pride too, and no one has the right to take it from us. Comments like those lessen the impact of one's pride on themselves. It would be like walking onto this board and saying "people are turning into fags to attract women." people don't TURN anything, you either are, or you aren't. As far as teenages 'turning bi' have you ever heard of sexual expermintation. EVERY KID DOES IT! Or every normal healthy kid that has not been abused or turned away from it from the time they are very young. ********, even animals do it... so hush unless you know what you are talking about.
