Granted!
He grants all your wishes; after it is all over, though, he admits that there's a catch. He only granted your wishes in exchange your nearly-finished SuWriMos novel as well. He flies off with them, and you're left to recover from having your story taken by a flying genie.

I wish that I could just go to school and skip the whole band portion of it.

You go to school and never get released. You spend all of eternity in the same classes avoiding band. Every day you wake up at school and go to bed in the cafeteria.

Your headache is gone! Instead you have ten throbbing fingers because you just broke all of them in a freak accident involving macaroni 'n' cheese, some chicken feathers, and a tomato plant. You can no longer use them to write now, either. You at least have your toes and nose for writing your story, though. I hope it's not too slow going.

But.... it turns out that behind the love and rainbows there is an evil empire of vampires, slug monsters, and demons out to destroy said love and rainbows. Not only do they destroy that, but nations fall to their power as well, all due to their extreme hatred of rainbows.
They decide they're going to hunt down the person who wished for love and rainbows. The demons and vampires are mad at you for the rainbows, and the rest of the human population is mad at you for making these creatures mad enough that they started a new world order.
*impatient mumbling* I wish I finished my vet. science project.

Granted, your project is now finished. Unfortunately it's so good that someone stole it and now you don't have a project to turn in anymore.
I wish I had more time to write and didn't have to do my homework instead.

In a freak accident involving a deranged maniac and a plastic baseball, you've developed an unusual case of amnesia and can't remember that you have to do you homework. Now you're happy. Whatever was plaguing you before is gone, so you can write now.
But... you've forgotten every single detail of your story, too.
That's just too bad.
I wish that I had time for music lessons. This is the fifth time in two months I'm missing them.

You have all the time you need for your music lessons, but you forget anyway because evil pixies torment you by fiddling with your memory and priorities. Now you spend all your free time watching grass grow. Fascinating.

Granted. Except while you're eating it, you choke on the stick. As your vision goes black, your true love does the Heimlich maneuver and saves your life. You look into each others' adoring eyes and vow to be together for the rest of your lives. And then you die, because it turns out the center of the candy was cyanide, not tootsie roll. ((Whew, that was complicated)).
I wish my story would turn out the way I had hoped for it to.

Granted!! Your story comes out exactly how you wanted it, only the day you send it in to be published you get accused of plagirising the thing, and guess what! You Did! although you had no idea that you were in the first place. Go figure for stupid luck and the 1 out of infinity chance that you would write a story exactly like one thats been published already with never seeing it word for word. Go you!
I wish I could play my trumpet like I used to and Hit the higher notes reliably.

Granted! They willingly come alive and type the story for you, but the thing is... the villain doesn't quite like how the ending of the story goes, so he arranges to have you killed. Not only are you dead, but now your villain is triumphant.
I wish the internet would stop being glitchy.

Your internet is no longer glitchy, as it is to busy being constantly filled with bad, BAD pornography that fills your desktop before you can click anything. And since it no longer can glitch to slow things down, you are unable to ever shut it off.

Only, you were never born, so, well, that's the end of you now, isn't it? Look at it this way though: Since you were never born, nobody is sorry that you're gone. Doesn't that make you feel so much better?
