I have a job interview tomorrow (Tuesday May 6) and then am going north to New York State to see our older sister and her husband (both too uptight to come into Gaia "at their age"... *snicker*) and will be back on Friday morning sometime. I may be able to check in during the time I'm gone; we shall see.
I've been away recently because of medical stuff, and the fact that I got let go at work last Thursday (laid off, not fired; some lame excuse about re-structuring...) and was neither able nor in a good head-space to log in. My apologies!

Heyo! I'm heading down to Chicago for a convention next weekend. I leave on Thursday and before that I have two costumes to make (oy vey!). So I might not be around much at all this week. If my convention roomies and I decide to spring for internet access, I might pop in during the convention, but I can't really count on it.

hey guys, i just need to take a break away from gaia for a bit, i have been working a lot of hours and just gettign into my career a lot lately and just dont have time to be on gaia as much anymore, however i do plan to eventually return back however i just dont know when, i am on facebook Prema Malhotra if you want to add me i know i still keep in touch with Mel but just need to take some time away but i will be back eventually. Love and miss you all.

Hi folks I'm ba-a-aaack... Sorry I've been gone so long, I got sent out of the US by my company to do some on-site work in Belgium. Was interesting... smile Anyway I'm back, and I've been told there's a Valhalla discussion going on somewhere here, so I'm gonna go look. Good to be home! *groans to ponder how much chocolate I ate...*

I'll be away (or perhaps on periodically, I do not know yet) June 4th until around July 21st.
I'm going to be in Arizona (Winslow area) for field school for six weeks of digging stuff up in the dirt. It should be good fun.

Btw, did you all know that in spanish, the word "Narizona" means big nosed? Funny, huh? lol
One thing though, I think that from now on, I'm only gonna be able to come back to this guild on Tuesdays and Thursdays due to lack of time. Sorry... sweatdrop

Now I'm wondering if Arizona came with the name back when it was signed o'er to the US. Big Nosed... That's up there with Onion for Chicago when it comes to strange names for places.
Gah, I hate this packing and leaving thing. (I wonder what sort of internet I'll have done there, I was thinking this would be a break from Gaia for me, though.)
