" If your violen was your weapon it is no longer with you." D said when the man had finished. He had returned to the wall he once leaned agianst, and continued to do so.

"Damn!" she said in reply to D's comment. Her other questions didn't even seem to matter any more. "I guess that's my punishment in this afterlife. The one thing I hold dear is not allowed me because I made the pact to make it my weapon." She threw her head back and put her hand in front of her face and laughed. It was an eerie laugh, her voice sounded evil, like a villain laughing at the demise of a hero. "How ironic! I've perfected it with so much blood, and now I can't even play it anymore."

Tendou cringed a little at the woman's words. What does she mean, 'with so much blood'? Did she really...?

"Did you really use blood?" Tenma asked in morbid curiosity, asking the question Tendou wouldn't ever dare to voice.

"Of course I did," the woman answered, still laughing a bit. "That's why I'm called a Blood Bard."

"Much of the soul is lost when blood is spilled..." Grave stared at the lamp in the center of the table allowing the soft glow to numb his mind to the memories that constantly floated in his head.

All the talk of blood was starting to make her happy, and she smiled, completely genuinely at Grave. "Wonderful, isn't it? Such a powerful thing the soul is."

With her anwser D need not ask what her profession was anymore. He could assume she was a warrior, and that is all he need to know. And by the way she reacted to his question this only confirmed his theroy. So the twins, her, and the larger man are all some sort of warrior. But the other I'am still unclear about.

And as for her question about the after life he already knew this was not. For he had thought it was the moment he opened his eyes, but quickly relized it was not. Because if it was he would be in hell, and surrounded by all the ones who had died by his hand. Human, or not.

Vena leaned forward and, resting her elbows on the table and her head on her hands, she mumbled to herself about the wonderful powers she obtained from the blood of her victims, and about how sweet the music of her violin had become. Only bits and pieces were audible, but one got the impression that she really liked what she did. "Such a loss really, but I guess I could always get a new instrument."

Tendou came and sat next to her sister, leaned over and whispered in her ear. "She's a weird one." Tenma just raised an eyebrow and nodded.

Grave turned, pulled his shades down, and looked the new woman in the eyes as best he could... For a few moments he simply stared into her eyes looking for her true alignment and nature; then he silently replaced his shades and once again stared into the flame of the lamp.

"Akuma..." The giant spoke the word very softly and in contemplation of what he saw an heard... Bear had taught him many things, but Grave had never encountered a person like this... The name blood bard carried the sound of a taboo and he wanted no part in that type of practice.

"About your violin." Fisk spoke so everyone could here him. "I don't your punishment is to sut here without it and watch abunch of strangers mope about." He lit another cigar and took a long puf from it. "Now this is just a theory I came up with, but it's safe to say that each of you are capable fighters? I'm no weakling myself. Dosn't feel unusual to think we were all brought here by chance? Not one of us are weak by regular human standards." He then stopped to take another drag. "Not to mention we were all stripped from things we deemed important in some way. I assume my new friend Grave wasn't a smoker in his past life, so he didn't loose those cigars he gave me. As well I always used a lighter so I never had a second thought about these matches until just now. My theory is this stripping of items is a sort of fail safe for stripping us from whatever weapons we might of had. If this is work from some sort of god. I doubt he, or even she, did this just to simply put us through hell." He then put his head on his hand, and sighed. "Atleast that is my theory. I can't think of why we are here, just why each of us from differnt..." He looked at D who made the first comment about dimision. "worlds were brought here. I assume each person to come here might have a combat skill of some sort. Atleast that's my theory."

Grave listened to Fisk and slowly nodded after the man was finished speaking. "I was a mafia bodyguard and sweeper..."

Tendou nodded. "My sister and I are ninjas, though kinda low rank."

"Just because we didn't get a chance to show them how awesome we are yet," Tenma interjected.

"But we won't get that chance now, will we?"

Vena lowered her body so she could get an angle of looking up at Fisk. "I suppose you could call me a warrior, but I'm primarily an entertainer." She smiled to herself. It wasn't exactly the truth, but it wasn't a lie either.

D listened to them, and heard there anwsers to the questions he had asked himself. So now he knew what they were, though he still didn't know what they were capable of. As for the other woman he was right about her. She has almost the same scent of blood as her.

" True......I guess that is why you got confussed." said the parasite in his left hand. It spoke in a whisper low enough for only him to hear.

What he said next was a miracle all on its own. For where he came from most people never asked him what he did. And to get such an anwser from him was rare though they would not know it.

" I'm a vampire hunter."

Fisk smiled abit and felt good about his guess. "Well don't we have a colorful group of people. From our different looks and..... 'occupations' it seems that my friend D here was correct about the different diminsion. Or in the very least we all came from different times." He leaned back on the chair. "From the looks of it, the only possible person that might have been from the same time and world is me and Mr. Grave here, but I doubt that's the case. If he was well known with the mafia, he might of atleast heard of me. In which he never even gave a hint that he's ever seen my face or heard of my name. But since you two twins are here, I think it is possible that some one from the world we came from might end up in this room." He then stopped to think. If that's true then I might run into Castle.

Grave slowly lifted his eyes to look at Fisk. "I Know you Mr. Fisk... I know a few things about the legendary Kingpin.... but have you heard of me... Beyond the Grave?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 09, 2007 9:31 pm

Hmm I wonder which 'business' of mine he was most familiar with. Fisk pondered as his listened to Graves question. "I can't say I have. Since the last few years I've been focusing on my own business to bother with anything else. Where was it you said you worked at?"

Grave nodded as Fisk replied, and it made sense that he had slipped under the radar in the information circles... After all it was his job to support Millenium not make the front page every week. "I worked for Millenium during the "Big Daddy Era." I was a sweeper... My job was simply to make sure no one caused the organization lose it's credibility. I am sure you understand my job at this point so I shall not go into any more details... but I will state that I worked for 'Big Daddy.' ...I had nothing to do with the tyranny 'Bloody Harry' unleashed."
