"The acholol, is to clean any infection." He says this normally. " Also I don't know if you watched Dawn of the Dead, but even after being scrached one woman turned. Alcohol might stop it, maybe. So quit whining. If i thought alcohol would help any wound I got I wouldn't object to a truck of it being dumped on me. Also whats the difference between scratches and bites? Both look pretty similar under all of that blood. The main difference is that one is less like to to infect you." He says this queitly so she wont over hear. The man was rude and very annoying. But he still needed help regardless. Garath then takes out a needle and thread. Dipping the needle and thread in alchol to clean off any bacteria he then stops. "Something tells me you'll object if I do this. So I'll let your girlfriend do it. Also I know that I'm not good at sewing, and would probably make a mess of it." He says this extreamly quietly so the girl wont hear. No need to copy the mans rudeness. He passes the string over to her. "I might know first aid but we weren't taught how to stich a wound in that class. So would you mind doing it?"

Mizuki didn't care at this point that he was being rude. At this point he was so wound up all he could focus on was how hard and where to punch this dude the moment oppurtunity seized him. "Dude!" He growled angrily. "Incase you haven't noticed, this ain't a film, this is real ******** life! God damn it! Kuso atama! Omae aho ya de!" He relapsed into japanese curses for a while, closing his eyes against the horrific stinging that was seeping through his mental block no matter how hard he tried to fight it.
As he lifted his head and saw the doctor guy handing the needle to Kalila he froze. There was something uncouth in his mind about asking such a young and seemingly innocent girl to stitch up open wounds. He looked at Kalila and there was something unreadble in his eyes. Mizuki didn't know why, but he felt it his duty to protect her and her brother from particular evils. He wasn't quite sure why. Perhaps because he was older and he felt it his civil duty to do so. Perhaps he felt a connection towards them because they were the first people he had spoken too and laughed with in a few months of undescribale horror. Maybe it was a bond between them that had only strengthened when the siblings had gone against all odds to bring him to safety when he never would have made it on his own. . . despite his ill feelings towards being knocked out. He frowned and looked to the 'doctor' guy. "Come one dude, that's not fair. She's seen enough gore today, let her be." His voice was quiter now, more cooperative. He cast Kailia a slightly stern look and nodded his head up the ladder. "Why don't you go and see your friend Nina?" He said softly. He fougth a grin to his lips. "And see if there is any food, I'm starved here!" He looked back at the other dude. "I guess I should know the name of the guy who is about to stitch me up. So I know who to send the insurance claim too if this all ******** up." He grinned his token cheest grin.
It wouldn't occur to him until a little while later that he didn't feel awkward or put out at all when the guy had referred to Kalila as his girlfriend.

Garath considers for a second. "True enough. Though I hope you wont need to send an insurance claim to me. Names Garath Midnight. And who is my first patient of the day?" He coninues the jest. Maybe this guy was't so bad after all. He does retreive the needle from the girl. "You have a piont. But just so you know i'm not the best at stiching, as I've never done it before. But I will do my best." To the girl he says. "I would sujest chicken soup if there is any. If I remember corectly it helps replenish blood. But any thing would be a good idea. Especally meats and liquids I think." Garath uses what little he remembers of the first aid course suplimented by his mom's knowledge. She had been the daughter of a Doctor so she had known a lot of random stuff about injuries. To the guy he says. "But I'll wait till you're ready. Before I start stiching."

Kalila was kind of stuck inbetween the "combat" of the two near her. She started freaking out after the talk of Mizuki being infected started. Specially when Mizuki himself started to contemplate the idea. But, then he started to seethe in pain, which resulted in cursing. "Whoa, whoa! No! Mizuki is NOT infected. I was there I saw the whole thing! No liquid transfer. Just incase you didn't know... um sir... bodily fluids is what passes the virus. Even if you were infected Mizuki, I promise we would wait until you turned before taking an offensive outlook. I promise." Kalila blurted out. She was talking to Mizuki, reassuring him. She was also informing the other guy. She was sitting next to Mizuki, on top of her legs.
"Uh- Um... N-no! I-I wouldn't mind s-stitching the wound..." Kalila got out, her words tripping all over the place. She wasn't good with that kind of thing. It always gave her that weird sting at the end of her spine and the back of her neck. But, this is important... Kalila thought to herself with a gulp. This involves the life of a friend... No more than that, a guy you owe your brother and your own life to... As she prepared herself to do it. She was suprised to see it wasn't her who finally chickened out and couldn't do it. It was Mizuki and he seemed to be protecting her. Kalila looked down at Mizuki with shock, but then eventually a smile wandered its way on to her face. She nodded to Mizuki and the other man. With a mental sigh Kalila thought Getting food, I can do that. Stitching up a human like one of my dresses... Not so much. She was also glad to see that even through the pain Mizuki managed to smile.
As the other guy took the needle and thread back from her, Kalila stood up and started for the ladder. But, as the two continued to speak She doubled back, sitting right back down where she was before. "Don't worry, I'll get the food. But-um stitching: I can sew pretty well. I make a lot of the clothes I wear." She blushed and took to gripping the handle of the dagger again. "Um... Y-You would take the needle and do some thing like this... According to how large the gashes are- I would think." Kalila said, motioning her hands as if she had an invisible needle and thread into a tight stitch, using the edge of two layers of her short dress, as if two sides of skin. "A-also, to close of the thread and making sure the stitch s-stays shut... You would tie it like this... Double it if the first one is too small and would slip through." she mumbled, taking the end of the real thread and tying it shut, so it didn't fall through either. She wasn't an expert, but she wanted to help. She had a good idea of what she was saying, but her self-esteem was getting in the way of her just straightforwardly suggesting her idea, or giving Garath pointers. "Uh... Good luck." She said quickly to Garath. She looked over at Mizuki, "You can take it. You've been through a lot... This'll be nothing." She said with a quick grin, moving his hair out of his eyes. "I'll go get you food now... For real this time." She said standing up quickly and making her way to the ladder, with quick, quiet tapping of her feet when they hit the ground. She leaped for the first rung and missed, only her fingernail touching it even. "Crap..." She said as she looked around for a way to make it up. She didn't want to risk a running start, something could see her if she back up out of the back of the house. But, she noticed the brick wall of the house wasn't too far from the ladder. She pressure pushed herself off the wall with a glint of her shiney Mary-Janes and jumped on to the last rung. She made it this time, both hands having a full grip. She regripped it and pulled herself up. She was blushing. I hope they weren't paying attention... She thought, all to aware of herself and her shortness. Embarrassing...She thought with a mental laugh.

Mizuki offered the guy a cheesy grin, his teeth tainted slightly with his own blood. "Garath, eh? Pleased to meet you. Too bad they couldn't have been on more . .. comfortable circumstances. In case you haven't previously overheard, I'm Mizuki, and I'm sure it'll be a fun old stitch up between us this ere morrow." He banged the back of his head against the concrete softly, it was very tender at the back where he had been assulted by the small boy. Every time it touched the ground the pressure would seer through his skull as if compressing his brian between the walls of his skull, causing his vision to black and his stomach to tremble and this strange nausea to engulf him for a split second that seemed to cut short his breath. It was strangely euphoric. As he repeated the process to recieve the painful high he found that he was begining to get quite addicted to the sensation that distracted him from all other pain in his body.
He was snapped out of this as Kalila returned. He had let his attention leave her as she had first turned to scale the ladder and all of a sudden she was back, dropping Garath hints. Mizuki actually laughed. "Thank you Kalila" He croaked, his throat suddenly very dry. "I'm, like, reeeeeeeeeallly hungry, so if you could put togther a welcome buffet for one that'd be great, ta." He grinned again, though this one was slightly lopsided.
He waited until Kalila was up the ladder before closing his eyes and banging his head again. "I'm ready Garath. And listen to the ladies pointers. She sews clothes."

Kalila scurried her way up the ladder on to the normal part of the fire-escape. She ran the rest of the way up. and made it to Nina's window. It was still open, because the older girl was still expecting the new group to get in. Kalila swung her leg over the windowsill, straddled the edge, and swung her other leg over. She landed inside the room with a quiet, padded thud, she still had her pack on her back. She looked around the room and, like her brother, noticed the steps of forification taken in different parts and the dry erase board. Great minds think alike I suppose... After all Mizuki. Garath, and Nina are surviving. She thought with a smile. She looked to Nicholas and saw that his pack was next to him. He was watching the news. Ok... I'll ask him and Nina to update me...
"Ah! Kalila!" Nina squealed again and ran to her friend, hugging her in a bear hug. "Long time no see!" She said sarcastically, though the grin on her face was genuine.
"I know!" Kalila said playing along and hugging her back with another smile. After Nina backed up Kalila looked at her brother. "Mizuki through up all his food... He's starving again. Get some... Nevermind. Get one of those chocolate protien bars and a bottle of water out of your pack." she infromed and instructed. Nicholas continued to watch the screen of the television, but did as he was told. He threw the two items at Kalila's feet. She bent down and picked them up. The information on the news right now is important... Don't hit him. It's alright. Kalila thought to herself, convincing herself not to knock him upside the head. She looked to Nina and gave her a sheepish smile. "I'm so sorry Nina... But could I get some food for Mizuki from you? I don't have the right kind with me..." She said with an apologetic expression. "I promise I'll be the one to go retrieve food when we need to restalk. And you can have whatever from our packs you like." Kalila added, more in a generous way than just bargaining.
Nina tried really hard to hide her smile. "Nicholas told me how this guy saved your guys' lives... and how you guys knocked him out!" But she ended up busting out laughing at the last part. "Of course..." She said still laughing. "Go get some food. In fact, theirs some left overs in the fridge." She said rolling around. But, and this scared Kalila, Nina just immediatly stopped and looked up at Kalila. She looked her in the eyes and looked dead serious. "He's Japanese..."
Kalila sighed in relief. She thought at first it was something of serious importance. "Yeah... He is." She said walking out the door, dropping her pack by the edge of its frame, and keeping the water bottle and protien bar in hand.
"He's pretty hot..." Nina inserted walking to the door with Kalila. "Pft yeah! Oh- um... Yes, he's quite handsome." Kalila blurted out at first, but quickly recovered, making herself sound more respectful. She continued walking down the hall and the stairs to get to the fridgerator down stairs in the kitchen. Nina busted out into a fit of giggles. She stayed at the edge of the stairs, chosing not to go down. She just leaned against the railing watching her friend. "How sweet of you... Getting him something to eat." She said, finally quieting her giggles, but a grin was still plastered on her face.
"My GOD! Shut up you two! If you talk any louder they'll hear you outside!" Nicholas said grabbing at a pillow on Nina's bad and laying on it as he continued to watch the news. Nothing else was on anymore. Keeping people informed of the situation 24/7 was finally 100% priority.
"It's not like that..." Kalila yelled up to Nina, blushing, fortunately for her Nina couldn't see her. She yelled loud enough for Nina to hear at the top of the stairs but no louder, making sure the noise didn't travel outside. Not just because of the two boys out there, but more importantly the infected. "He's a lot older than me... I would say... About 20 maybe." Kalila said estimating, she never straight up asked him. "Like you just said a few seconds ago... He saved our lives Nina. I respect him so much. Plus... This is no situation to worry about romance..." she added the last part and opened the refrigerator. She scavenged through it. "But... Your the biggest romantic I know. Doesn't that just sound like a romance novel..." Nina said happily, but she assessed the situation a little more thoroughly. "By Steven King." Nina added with a laugh. "I know..." Kalila mumbled to herself. She looked the fridge and picked out a small bottle of Orange juice and a left over rice and chiken dish covered in platic wrap. Judging from the way it looked, Kalila guessed the dish was Puerto Rican. Now I need some sort of soup... Hopefully the protien bar can fill up the parts of his stomach not filled up by real food. "If I love him, I would love him the way I love Auron from Final Fantasy X... But I've only known him for today. So it's not probable!" Kalila replied to Nina. She looked on the stove and just about squealed out in happiness. There was some, according to the smell, beef flavored, liquidly ramen in a pan-pot. She picked up the container, putting the plate filled with the left over on top of it. The bottle of orange juice and the other one of water were on there sides on top of the plate, along with the protien bar. "And again... Zombies..." Kalila reminded her friend. She made her way up the stairs. Geez, apparently that boy can eat. Nina thought after seeing her friend come up the star with all of the stuff. "But, you told me you wouldn't mind becoming a concubine for Auron if you had to..." Nina fired back at her friend as soon as she hit the top step. Kalila stumbled a little by the verbal blow. Nina picked up the bottles and bar so Kalila didn't have to worry about them anymore. "Which is good... What if the human race as to repopulate themselves after this outbreak." Nina said giggling. "That's not funny... Don't talk llike that..." Kalila said quickly walking back into Nina's room by the window. "I kid, I kid!" Nina said lightly. "Now go feed him..." "Yes ma'am..." Kalila said jokingly as Nina tucked the bottles and protien bar against the pan-pot and Kalila's body, so it wouldn't fall. She carefully got out of the window.
"My God... I was joking when I made her do that..." Nicholas said quickly to Nina. Nina just smiled.

"Yeah i wish we could have met up in better times as well. I'll start now." Garath paid attention to her tips and tries his best. He carfully tries to sew it together. He uses one hand to hold the skin together as he sews with his other hand. At the end he ties a knot and pulls it tightly to close it. "There. I definatly did some of my best sewing today." Actually it was some of the only sewing he's done in his life. But he decidese against mentioning it. He then takes out some more alcohol and just dabs it on the cut to sterilize it. "That's the best I can do. Any other injuries I should know about?" He says woundering if there were any other injuries. He got the feeling that Mizuki had hurt his head. "But either way I think We should try and get you up the ladder before anything comes allong."

"Oh... By the way, Nina, you and Garath make a cute couple!" Kalila said quickly before trotting down the stairs quickly. Nina blushed, but was still smiling, "You bet your @$$ we do!" She said the smile turning into a smirk. She knew saying something against it would be completely pointless so she didn't. Kalila probably didn't hear her, but it didn't matter to her. Nicholas looked away from the television for alittle bit to stare out the window and then to Nina. "God... You're so boy-crazy. You know what though, I think it's a front. You're actually gay." Nicholas said with a laugh and looked back to the screen. "What the f*ck?" Nina said frowning. "Just because I was impressed by and commented on video games boob jiggling dynamics? That's not fair! You heard all of Kalila's friends were!" "So? You're a lesbian." Nicholas said not really paying attention. Nina just ignored the young boy. Nina was one of the boy-craziest girls around. It had become an inside joke with Kalila, her, and Nicholas that she was "gay." It got annoying after a while, but Nina was patient. This kind of thing didn't phase her at all. She was all for gays, along with Kalila, so it was no insult to her.
Kalila made it to the ledge where the ladder started she set the food down beside her, making sure not to let anything fall. She looked down to hear Garath finish speaking. "That sounds like a good idea..." Kalila piped up. "Mizuki you wanna come up, then you could eat?" She said motioning to the food. She looked back to Garath and blinked. "Do you need help helping him up? I don't think you should let him up on his own... He might get injured." she said, but quickly looked back to Mizuki and blushed "No offense."

The young youth walked down the alley, reacalling the earlier events of that day. The deaths, and the brief skirmish with the zombies. "Thank God that I have all this ammo." He said, lugging the backpace full of clips, transferring clips from the bag to the side pack. He leaned against the wall, thinking about what happened earlier...
...He was in his room, cleaning his pistol when he heard the clatter. Reshion finished putting together the weapon, and loaded the gun, chambering the rounds. He walked silently into the living room, and saw his mother there, with a creature over her, feasting on her.
"M--mom...MOM!!!!" He screamed, tagging the creature in the back. Unaffected, the creature got up, and stumbled towards him. "Get the hell away from me!" He screamed, firing several rounds into the creature's chest. While backing up, he slipped on blood, and let off a round, hitting the creature between the eyes.
The creature fell to the floor, and Reshion walked over to his mother, and if he thought the creature was a zombie, he put his foot to his mother's chest, crying.
His mother opened her eyes, the yellow tint in them. He closed hi eyes and pulled the trigger.
BLAM!
Sobbing, Reshion snapped back to reality. He saw three zombies approacing him.
"Come on!" He screamed, rushing past them, bowling them over. He had to conserve ammo. He ran to an apartment building, with a note on it. He ran round to the back, and kicked off the wall, hanging onto the fire escape ladder.
"Let someone be there." He whispered, climbing slowly, gun cocked, and in a position that he could reach it easily.

Mizuki hissed as the needle went in at the start, a feral snarl rising in his throat and leaving him through bared teeth. He banged his head more roughly on the floor, the pain flooding through him like a drug, taking him to nauseating highs of beautiful suffering. It felt like he was beating out the memories. Bai Bai to those icky nasty thoughts. The images of his parents brains splattering on the ceiling and the cold weight of the shotgun, metal slipping in the sweat of his hands. Bai Bai went the memories of the beautiful taste of the insides of that man's skull, squishing between his grinding teeth and getting caught under his fingernails. Bai Bai to his troubles. This time he cracked the back of his head a little too hard, his eyes rolled back into their sockets and he seemed to choke slightly on his own tongue, a horrific tremor ran through his body.
Then his eyes suddenly snapped open. His pupils mere pnpricks. He sat up straight and through the new stitches stretched he did not feel pain. He seemed oblivious. All there was now was Hunger. Inhaling deeply through his nostrils he turned to look to Garath and smiled slightly. It was a shark like smile, all teeth. "Thank you." He said. His voice was almost painfully calm. "Nothing else Doc, just a little bonk on the head from the lil' Mister upstairs." He got to his feet in a fluid motion and stretched, purring almost as his shoulders cracked. He didn't look at Garath. But then he didn't need too. He felt him sat there. Cleaning away. His heart beating and pushing all that delightful blood around his body - fuelling all those ripe and juicy organs. Mizuki wondered what it would feel like to close his fingers tightly about a still beating heart. Squeeze it. Take a huge bite out of whilst the man could still feel pain. But the heart was all muscle. He wanted meat. Intestine. Tongue. Brain. He raised his sleeve to wipe his mouth as he found he was salivating. Near trembling withy delight at such thoughts, Mizuki prepared to turn on heel and spring. Nails clawing, teeth ripping, bloody, goretastic bliss and finally a solution to all this Hunger.
Then Kalila spoke. Torn unexpectedly from this line of thought Mizuki's stomach turned to ice. Oh no. It was back. The Hunger. He looked up at Kalila and fought smile to his lips. This time is was shakey. More human. "Y-Yeah." He said, palming his forehead softly. "I'll be right up." Strangely the pain had not returned, and Mizuki was aware of this and concerned by it. Surely he couldn't be infected? He would know. He nodded to himself. He would definately know. He began to climb the ladder without looking back at Garath, worried that looking at him would spur back those thoughts again. Those immediate urges. He knew from previous experience that he could hold the Hunger for a while before it got out of control. He shivered thinking of the last time he'd let it get the better of him. The Rage. I ate some guys Brain . . . he thought with horror. And I think I liked it. . . Screwing up his eyes he crossed the last hurdle by jumping across the window ledge. He spotted the infamous Nina across the room and offered her a quick smile and a polite bow. "Thank you for having me." He muttered quietly. He seemed distracted. Turning to flash a grin at Kalila he took the food from her arms. "I think I might go eat this in private okay? I have terrible table manners as you well know. . ." He let out a slight chuckle. "No need to appaul our host with them."

((I'm going to be gone for a week. But I wont have access at all to a computer. I was going to send him off to get supplys or something but I think a bit of uncoiciousness works just as well.))
Garath smiles and cleans up every thing. "I'm glad I could help." He syas as Mizuki goes up the ladder. Garath was nearly positive Mizuki was infected. But Garath knew he would not do anything about it. He would just have to be prepared to defend himself when ever he was around Mizuki. Thank god for so many years of Tai Kwon Do. He was climbeing the ladder when his hand slipped. It was the blood from Mizuki's injureies. He really should have wipped them off better. He tried and failed to grab hold of the ladder. He used his martial arts to try and fall in a way the wouldn't hurt him. His head hit a partially submerged rock and knocked him out cold. He had no other injuries other then that.

((Alright... We'll make our characters take you into the building and let you rest on Nina's couch or something... Sorry you guys if this is done awkwardly... I didn't know how to get the characters interact with Mizuki, Garath, and get Reshion invovled. I apologize crying )) "Oh... Alright then." Kalila said with a smile at Mizuki. She followed him up, behind him, and got in after him. Something's wrong... Her mind exploded, the thought was reflected on her face just a little as her eyebrows barely frowned. No matter what she did, she could never not have her emotions showing, a little on her face. Mizuki bowed and thanked his hostess. "No problem hun!" Nina said with a grin. "You're very welcomed here. You're approved in Kalila's book, you're alright in mine." She said, a glint of mischief in her eyes.Sh*t... Nina's gonna make him nervous... Kalila thought as Mizuki took the food from her. She smiled in return to his grin. "Go ahead. You can go and eat in the breakfast area. No one is downstairs right now..." Kalila said happily. I don't want Nina to be scared, Mizuki is right. she thought looking away from him for a little and at Nina, "That's ok right?" she asked, not wanting to push things on her hospitality. She already did so much for us... In such a short amount of time. she mused. Nina nodded her head, a knowing smirk on her face, clear for the world to see.She looked back to Mizuki and blushed. "Do you want me to accompany you there?" She asked, twiddling her fingers behind her back, as she put the dagger on her waist. "I'll leave right after I get you there." She mumbled, but suddenly visually jerked as she remembered something. She grabbed for the Mizuki's dagger from her waist and held it up. "Um... Thanks. Sorry I didn't give it back sooner." She said blushing with embarrassment. "Oh my God!" Nina suddenly exclaimed, looking out her window. She had looked out because she was wondering why it was taking Garath so long to get inside. The answer was given as she saw a knocked out Garath at the bottom of the ladder, leading up to the fire escape. "He's freakin' out cold..." She mumbled. He couldn't have died... We would have heard something. Plus... I see no injuried from here. "I'm gonna go get him." Nina informed with feirce spirit. At First response to the news Kalila looked shocked. All possiblities of what could have happened to Garath drumming through her head. But, as fast as the came, the sooner they stopped and she calmed. Her common sense kicked in and told her nothing terrible was logically possible. He probably freaked out by the blood... Kalila rationalized. But then a more girly thought passed through her mind: Oh... She so likes him... She's willing to sarifice her safety for him...Nicholas was paying attention too, the sudden cry from Nina startling him. "Here... I'll help. You can't bring him up by yourself." He mumbled and got to his feet. He walked over to Nina and got out before her. He rather valued Nina as a friend enough to put himself at risk for her. Nina followed after him. Nicholas scrabbled down quickly and crowled down the ladder. He swung as he hung himself from the bottom rung. He jumped as he swung forward to avoid landing on Garath. Nina got down too, but instead she just jumped off to the side with easiness. She crouched down by Garath's body and examined him. No injuries... She thought with a relieved smile, Just slipped, it seems she thought, noticing the bump on his head and the rock jutting out of the ground. Nicholas also put two and two together and rolled his eyes. What an ironic mistake for in the middle of apocolyptic time... he thought, shaking his head slowly. "Alright... You swing him over your shoulder." Nina said with a commanding voice. "Please..." She inserted after a pause with a polite and kind air. "Sure..." He said, "Help me..." he said starting to pick Garath up. Nina pulled him up higher and sat him neatly on Nicholas's shoulder. Nicholas's legs quivered a little bit, not because Garath was heavy, but that he was too heavy for him alone, and much taller. Nina jumped on to the ladder in one good jump. She was much taller than Kalila and Nicholas. She got up until she was completely on the ladder. "Pass him up..." Nina mumbled, reaching down.Nicholas, with much struggle and failing twice, finally passed him up to her. She brought him up and laid him on the flat, rigidy surface of the beginning of the fire escape. She and Nicholas took a breather for a few seconds after Nicholas got up. Nicholas and Nina carried him up the stairs, the way Mizuki was carried by Nicholas and Kalila earlier. Nina stepped over and through the window first. Nicholas passed Garath over safetly and came in after. Nina put him on the couch up against the wall of her room. She walked over to her bed and fell on to it with a tired huff. "Holy poo... That was harder than I thought." She said airily. Nicholas agreed silently by laying himself on to the floor; spreading out his body, tiredly, like a starfish. It seemed as soon as they laid themselves down, there was clamor outside. "Oh Goddammit!" Nina and Nicholas bursted out at the same time."It's ok you guys... I got this." Kalila said quickly as to make them keep resting. She layed the dagger at Mizuki's feet quickly and ran over to the window. She poked her head out shyly. If it's a zombie... I gotta be careful. If it's a human... I might need to be just as careful she though with a mental sigh. She looked around and spotted an Asian guy, she would say, about Garath's age attempting to climb up the fire escape. "Oh... Crap." Kalila blurted out and looked to Nina. He was definately not infected, but he looked scared. "Um... Nina, do you have room for another guest?" She asked awkwardly. "He's not infected by what I can see of him." Nina gulped and sat up in her bed. She heard that you could be infected by the virus and not show symptoms for three days if you weren't infected directly. Right now she was at a 50/50 chance of letting him in. So, she turned to her normal way of thinking. "Um... Is he hot?" She asked with a sheepish smile."Oh! Uh... Um..." Kalila said blushing terribly. No doubt, to her, he was. After all he was a young, good-looking, Asian guy. But, at even thinking that she had a pang of guilt in her chest, as if she was betraying someone. That someone being the one who the dagger belonged to. No... Don't think that way... Either way, you barely know Mizuki and that was a very neutral question from Nina... F*ck... I'm confused. she finally thought, crying on the inside. "Oh quite... He's very handsome." Kalila finally said, respectfully. She said it as if commenting on how nice an outfit was that someone was wearing. "Ok!" Nina said walking over to the window, standing next to Kalila. She took a look for herself and approved with a grin. "He's coming in..." She said brightly. "Go ahead..." she invited Kalila to do something."Oh...Um..." She began, caught off guard. "SIR!" Kalila finally yelled out. "Are you alright? PLEASE HURRY!" She added the last part as she noticed a group of three zombies staring up at him from the ground. They were screeching, scatching at the air trying to reach him, to no avail.

Mizuki smiled and nodded to Kalila, shifting the food over to the crook of his arm, freeing up the other. Taking the knife from her, his fingers brushed gently upon hers, but he seemed not to notice. He was incredibly distracted. Though there was the promise of food, the Hunger seemed more volatile this time. In his head - he was getting flashing images in his mind that were hard not to act out on. Little situations that sprung off from current situations. Like Kalila handing him back his knife. Behind his seemingly calm optics, he was acting out, he had taken the knife and had lashed out, tearing open Kalilas throat in one swoop. He would then dive on Nina and do the same. The small boy would be no problem. Mizuki would take up his favourite board and grind the kids face to mash. Delight in the gorey violence of it. The sweet sating of the Rage that was becoming intertwined with his Hunger. He would then wait for Garath to poke his head up over the ledge after hearing the commotion. And smiling, he would blow his ******** head with a shot gun, drag his corpse up here and have a <******** good time. In reality he merely accepted the knife back and slipped it into his belt. However, stirred on by his thoughts of glorious mayhem, he cast his eyes about for his shot gun. And there it was propped against the wall. He immediately went to it, slinging it up over his shoulder.
Mizuki turned to Kalila and smiled, about to answer her question when Nina screamed. Mizuki ran with a start to the window and leaning out stared down. His heart beat echoed in his head. His eyes widened and everything in his chest went tight. HelplessDeadHelplessCan'tFightFeedMustFeedEasyPreySweetFoodSweetDeadKillEat. He pushed back from the ledge and shook his head. He had intended to go down and help them. But no. He didn't think he could hold it together long enough. Turning it Kalila he offered her a quick very forced smile. "I think I better go alone." He said quickly. "Safer if only one us goes. Loose less if something goes wrong." He shifted his shot gun and hurried to the door. Swiftly, without realising what he was doing, he undid all the locks of the door with one hand and hurried out, practically throwing himself down the steps. He planted a hand on the banister and vaulted himself, falling a storey to land bent legged with a slight growl that rumbled in hias throat. He crossed into what was seen as the Breakfast area. Kind of like a communial canteen. Full of tables and plastic chairs. He crawled under one of the tables and began to eat. At first, controlled bites the next, feverishly getting all he could into his mouth at any one time. Hunger.Rage.Hunger. In the back of his mind he was arguing wether or not he was infected. They said Three Days for symptoms to show. What were these symptoms. Something along the lines of this I should imagine. . He snarled and lashed out as a sudden wave of anger hit him unexpectedly, catching him off guards. He was washed away with that sudden angry wave of emotion that he lashed out from under the table, grabbing one of the plastic chairs so violently that when he dragged it tiowards him the two back legs snapped off. He then proceeded o tear the chair to shards before the Hunger once more overcame the Rage.
Mizuki was frightened, somewhere in a more subconcious level. He'd had this before. He knew if he ate, it would subside - but if he idn't he would get angrier and angrier until he went out and grabbed something to eat. But he'd been suffering like this for months. Even before the first outbreak of the disease. More than three days - so surely that determined he wasn't infected? He'd had the anger and the hunger. But for all its side effects it had cured him of his heart condition. Made him more agile, stronger even. He began to eat the wrappers.

"Come on! Is that you got!?"
Deep down, in the underground, where the subways turned and weaved into interconnecting tunnels, a catacomb for people and thier convenience. Blood dripped from SolarandCrescent, her prized twin blades, and they never have let her down, and she doesn't plan to be disappionted anytime soon. Wiping her face with her shoulder, Crimson tighten her grip on her blades and continued to slice and dice her way through the gathering mass of infected. Grunting most unlady-like (a lot of things about Crimson were unlady-like) she made her way to the tunnel wall.
"Damn, there's too many."
She eyed the ladder climbing up, and slashed her way to it. After successfully creating a space of five feet, she leapt onto the ladder, climbing her way up. The moans and groans of the undead came from below her. Rustling in her dear old Mimzy bag, she dropped down a rare grenade, and heard the sastifying splattering of the infected emploding.
After removing the man-hole cover, she placed it back, and looked up and down the street. The street was barren and empty, no sound of life anywhere. Crimson remembered when the city was alive and pulsing, millions of people here and there. Now, most were either a) infected, b) food, c) hiding. Sighing, she spotted a wandering infected, and noticed a fire escape. Running over to it, she climbed up expertly, (much like a squirrel), and saw a sign on a window. Crimson tried to read as she grabbed the fire escape and pulled it up. Grunting again, she gave up, tethering the ladder. She opened the window, and called out,
"Hullo? Anyone alive here?"

Reshion had his gun ready by the time he got to the top rung of the ladder. "Is anyone here?!" He screamed out. He leaned up against the wall, and performed a swat turn, clearing the room. He sat against the wall, his head elevated. He was prepared for whatever this darkness threw at him. He sighed, thinking about what happened earlier that day. The death of his mother, the zombies. Whatever the hell was going on, he wanted to know about it. "What the hell is going on, as a matter of fact?" He asked nobody, standing near the window. "I don't see anybody." He whispered, standing in the darkness. He then heard a young girl scream out, and he approached the window. "Here, let me help you out." He said, holding his hand out for her to grasp.
