Tasukaru no Kurokaze I think I know Pein's power! If you look at his clone thing, it's like a mirror image of Deidara! Maybe he can transfer his soul into copies of all the Akatsuki and control their abilities! On another note, Pein and Konan both seem to have been in a team with Jiraiya as sensei! I think his power has something to do with body snatching cuz his first body looks like his old friend. The body he is in now can NOT be Deidara for many reasons 1. piercings although they could have been put in after death but that is taken out from point 2 2. Deidara BLEW UP a.k.a no body could not possibly be left from his ultimate bomb since it uses his whole body 3. Although it looks similar to Deidara u don't have to look to close to see the difference in the hair, face and body.

The current information on the Rinnegan
Rinnegan - Transmigration Eye
Rinnegan is the blood inheritance limit of Rokudou Sennin (Six Realms Hermit) and his descendants. Rokudou Sennin was viewed as the original shinobi and his Doujutsu was regarded as the most venerable of the three great Doujutsu. As the original shinobi it was said he created modern Ninjutsu. The Rinnegan was regarded as a god of creation when the world was racked with chaos and as a weapon of destruction which could return everything to nothingness.
The true extent of the Rinnegan abilities are currently unknown. Rain orphan Nagato was an inheritor of the Doujutsu, and used it unconsciously when he was angry and afraid. He entered into a berserk state which allowed him to defeat a much stronger foe. It may be this same ability which allowed him to never lose a battle as "Pain," the leader of the Rain Village rebel faction and Akatsuki. Nagato in the guise of "Pain" also has the ability to switch between six different bodies. Each time Nagato moves to a new body, his Rinnegan travels with him. This probably gives rise to the "Transmigration" name. This is a cycle of reincarnation and rebirth seen in Hinduism and Buddhism. There are six states of rebirth in the cosmology, representing all the good and bad possibilities of life.

Here is a theory:
Three Legendary Doujutsu: Byakugan, Rinnegan, and Sharingan.
Rinnegan = Ninjutsu Foundation
Byakugan = Taijutsu Foundation
Sharingan = Genjutsu Foundation
Rinnegan has been stated by Jiraiya as the kekkei genkai of the hermit whom laid down the foundations for ninjutsu.
Byakugan seems to be the most advanced kekkei genkai for Taijutsu because of the severity of the Juuken.
Sharingan has already been shown to possess amazing Genjutsu abilities. I.E. Itachi with Tsukiyomi and Sasuke with his own Genjutsu (The one he used on Deidara).

even if they did just steal a jutsu i made stare
oh. and also more info on the rin'negan. the user of the rin'negan can master any jutsu no matter what element. they are capable of learning all elements. I believe theres more. but I must've have missed it.

You are right in the aspect of him being able to use 6 different elements. But that conflicts with the fact that Haku's bloodline is only able to use Ice jutsu and Shodaime's lineage is the only ones able to use Wood.
So perhaps the Rinnegan has the ability to use one of those. Or copy the genes of some one like Shodaime or Haku.
Or perhaps there is a 6th basic element that has not been shown yet.

hmmm. lightning, water, wind, earth, fire. well aren't ice and would a mix of two othher elements. but if that was so then there would be another element but those are the 5 bases.
this could be confusing

Yes they are a mix of two different elements but they are clearly stated as kekkei genkai. That means you have to have the genetics to combine those two chakras together. And as of yet, the current canon states that only Shodaime and those who have his genes can use Wood. And those of Haku's genes are the only ones that can use Ice.

Hmm. that is interesting. i'll comment on that later because i have a fresh thought in my head.
How is the system going to work if the ninja can basically use all elements in the beginning. or is it when your a genin you get two elements. chuunin you have four. and jounin you have six? that somewhat works but doesn't FULLY follow the naruto world but hey, we can't follow everything or else that would be somewhat godmoding correct?
and now the thought is gone. stare i'll be back or edit when it comes back. just went brain dead. xp

I am not sure how some one will create that bloodline for the Guild. I guess that could work since kekkei genkai are about the only things that can bend the rules of the jutsu system.
Actually it would not be considered godmoding since there is other things in this guild that are different from the Naruto world that Tosh created himself. Unfortunately I am not allowed to speak of them to members who are not Crew.
As for following the Naruto world, and as stated above, kekkei genkai seem to be the overall exception to rules. Such as the Rinengan allowing you to learn all 6 basic elements when the average shinobi can only hope to obtain two, mincing out the fact of kekkei genkai like Haku's.
