I got stuck on the side of the Interstate for about three hours one time because of a sand storm

They never hit town, only on the way to town when you cross the desert. And sandstorms only happen three or four times a year.

that why when it's windy we don't go out. the sands bad for the paint on the car.

i dont worry about that really - my truck is an 86 and it still has its original paint.

ok then how about the sand coming at you with a simi-truck behind you. sand flying at you is never good.

I do. at least I love it when it isnt raining (flash flooding), or has high winds ( thats when sandstorms happen)

rain is good for the plants, but too mush rain is bad for the crops. high winds= a lot of unhappy campers
