O P E R A T O R
Ninja's.
Pirates are fools who travel out to sea, with less than 5% chance of finding treasure, and suffer from scurvy.
Ninaj's are cool. burning_eyes Excuse me?
Pirates are not the cartoony yuppies popularized in childrens' books. Actual, historical pirates led very difficult lives... do you have any idea how hard it is to sail a ship? Pirates got their start as freelance sailors and merchants hired to protect precious cargo, because they were generally tough and weren't afraid of defending themselves and their ship.
This branched out into the seizure of ships and stealing of cargo, because more profit could be made if one possessed more loot to sell, and with no other source of income, every scrap of loot was worth its weight in gold to a pirate.
Pirates were not bound by the laws or rules of any country, and more often than not, stole things because they needed them to survive, rather than just for pleasure - things like medicine, food, and water.
"Searching for buried treasure" is a common association made with pirates, which came about with Robert Louis Stevenson's classic "Treasure Island," and other stories of similar natures.
Not all of them suffered from scurvy. And not all of them sailed the sea.
If you're going to attack your mortal enemy, you should at least know a little about their nature first.
stare In case it's not obvious, I'm a pirate.
Don't like Naruto
or One Piece.
Although I can recognize the patience, precision, and skill it takes to be a ninja, and I can respect those who chose to become (and/or side with) ninjas, I'd much rather run free, doing whatever I want.
A pirate's life for me.
