(( Sorry! I forgot... and then the event... Sorry! ))
Debi laughed and clapped her hands, liking the way the poem sounded.
"Coral smart and funny!" she said, grinning up at the older girl.
Aoaka smiled, but there was a bit of a shadow in his eyes. It just didn't seem right to him that she didn't have anyone to stay with.
"Are you sure that's alright? Don't you get lonely? Or scared?" he asked. He couldn't bear to think of Debi out by herself, and wondered if there was anyone who thought of Coral that way.

Coral had never thought about it before. She had never worried or been lonely. Sure she liked to make others laugh and when she was alone that was sure hard to do. Then again she liked to try things out on herself. Which, she could always make herself laugh.
"I guess not. I never have before." Coral finally told him with a nod.

Aoaka nodded. He'd never really felt alone as a child, either... Maybe he should leave well enough alone.
"Well, if you ever need someone to talk to, or decide you'd like somewhere to stay for a while, you know where we are, right?" he asked, making the offer because he would have felt wrong otherwise.
Debi, a bit confused, had ignored the other two and gone back to her fish, which was now getting a bit cold. However, her eating was interspersed by yawns, which she tried gallantly to hide, however unsuccessfully.

Coral smiled. "That's very nice of you. I do like to try my jokes on others besides me once in a while. I mean, I know I'm funny. Just not sure others get me!" Coral chuckled and then winked.

(( I need to start wrapping this up. Debi grew again while I wasn't looking. D: ))
"I enjoy your jokes very much, Coral," Aoaka said in return and smiled.
Debi's body decided at that moment that no matter how much she didn't want to take a nap... nap time it was. She yawned mightily, and leaned over in the sand, getting more comfortable, though she still forced her eyes to stay open, so she wouldn't miss anything. Or she tried to anyway. Then, suddenly, between one breath and another, she was out like a light.
Aoaka noticed this and chuckled. "It always seems to happen like that. Go, go, go, stop," he said. He got up to gather Debi in his arms.
"You can stay for a bit, if you like, but I need to put Debi to bed," he added, looking at Coral with an indecisive air. The fire was still going, and there was still some fruit to be taken care of...

"Oh, Okay. Sweet dreams. Thanks for having me." Coral bowed to the older Naiad before she turned around to leave. This was nice maybe one day she would have a home and someone to share it with.
It didn't take her too long to get back to the lake. It was good because she had been out too long anyway.

Aoaka leaned the sleeping Debi against his torso, her head leaning on his shoulder, and waved at Coral with his free hand.
"It was our pleasure, Coral. Debi adores you, I think. Have a good day!" he said, and waited until she'd gone back into the lake before carrying Debi the short distance into the cave. He'd have to pick up after all of them once he had Debi settled in.
