Well, it appears that there are only 12 episodes in the XS anime *is in the middle of downloading the 12th* I'm fairly dissapointed with a lot of things, though I think they characterized Jr. a bit better in some areas. But they really screwed with Shion's character (apparenly she's not an oblivious work-a-holic who's only real concern tends to be KOS-MOS anymore). The artwork can range between beautiful and downright crap. The staging of some of the scenes is no where near as good as it was in the game (the best example I can think of is probably the Albedo-MOMO scene, it's terrible in the anime, though I did like how the kirschwasser was all sad and jealous). Overall I'd say it's been decent, I think it deserves a 5.5-6/10, thouugh I sort of doubt we'll see a second season.
[EDIT] Ok I just got through watching the 12th episode. It deffinantly wasn't the same ending as the game but it was pretty close in some areas and pretty bizzare in some others. Overall it was a pretty good episode, especially concidering how much higher the animation quality was in this episode (it was really pretty in some spots!). I'm still seriously doubting the likelyhood of a second season, I have no idea how it rated (likely not particularly well given that it airs at something like 2am) but is just doesn't seem like it'll be continued -- at least not for a while, if at all.

They randomly showed King(and his cat. Josephine?) walking about in the Foundation- Priceless.
Anyway, I'm currently at episode 8, and, I'm loving it! xd heart
Big change in opinion, huh? whee

If we do see a second season, I think they would shape up... with more better cartoon graphics... >>;;

Yeah, I just watched the 12th episode, and I can pretty honetsly say that, while I enjoyed seeing some parts of the game in an Anime form, I just cant help but feel...cheated. It is the same way I felt when they cut out chaos' introduction in the Xenosaga Fan DVD.
*sighs* Monolith just has something against chaos, I swear...
Overall the Anime was pretty decent, but I really cant see it being enjoyed by anyone other than fans of Xenosaga.
