 She kept her lips right there, not wanting to move, afraid if she did, he would try to push away from her. But it was getting hard and harder to ignore the warm feeling in her chest and what it meant.

He softly licked her lips. What did it take to keep the smile on her face. He thought. Not really caring at all but he supposed that if she was staying somewhere like here. Were it was cold sometimes. Hard-floors. Why did did she stay. When she could be in a warm place such as up in the trees with her sister. If she'd sacrificed something he would too. He saw the night coming in. Wondering if she was asleep now. Did she stay up all this time.
He didn't want that. His eyes were closed. But he felt the cool breeze of night coming in. The people had left hours ago. He didn't want to move though. She was there.

She fought to not blush when he licked her lips like that and she didn't move to do the same, even though she really did want to. She laid with him like that the whole time, not uncomfortable in the least. Of course she had no idea he thought her to be incredibly fragile because of her fur pattern.

He thought her. So much to uncomforted. This wasn't the way she should sleep. At the least. He decided again. He slowly got up; putting his arms under her. His fish now lively swimming about, slipping out of the hole to check out the graves.
He carried her to the hay. Laying her down and then sitting on the stool. He looked at her. The room could wait just a tad bit he thought. Having put that blanket over her... he could think now. He took his charcoal and started to sketch her. His tail flipping and looking at her while he sketched.

She closed her eyes when he picked her up and set her on the hay, and she laid there, looking at him through slits of her slightly open eyes. She had to wonder why he moved her back onto the hay. She wasn't uncomfortable. And she had to ignore the feeling of why she wanted him to lay next to her again.

He watched her slightly from the corner of his eye as he sketched. Then started to darken. Now. While sketching... he. realized. Something... He loved drawing her. The first time. He carved her. Seeing her. His paw kept on sketching. Sketching. Darkening. He felt that thing in his chest. When his paw decided to stop. His heart had skipped.
His paws started to shake and he didnt know why. He put down the drawing. Of her sleeping... It calmed him down some at least. He looked over at her. Watching her. In a blank stare.
He wanted again to touch her cheek. Hold her. But asleep... he didn't want to disturb her. He watched. That feeling deep within. Caused that shaking. His caring level went down to 0% again. But he stayed in that same mind set. How he could feel that way.

She slowly opened up her eyes fully to look at him when she felt his eyes on him. Her heart felt like it was beating too fast now and she didn't understand why. She sat up from the hay and made her way over to him. She stood in front of him and reached a paw up to carress his cheek again.

Shocked. "You were still awake... I'm sorry if I woke you..." He felt her paw to his cheek. Was this some sort of mirage? He couldn't think dreams. He didn't have any. He would tire himself to exhaustion so his thoughts would end up grim. Like the past that he thought was someone else's. He held her paw to his cheek.
Then took her other paw to touch his chest. "Hey. While you were lying down... that skipped." He looked at her. Puzzled and emotionless of what he was saying. Truely not understanding... Had he not been so old... knowing every numa who died. Their downfall. Was this his?
The moon on his forehead started to glow.

"Hmmm...it doesn't feel like anything wrong. Do you not feel well? And do not worry, I never fell asleep." she said softly. Now that warm feeling would not go away, now matter what she tried. All she knew is she liked and....wanted to be close to him. Well, as long as he didn't push her away, she was more then glad to be close.

"I might be feeling unwell. It sometimes hurts. Right there when Im around you as well... maybe i should make my own grave...." Feels despair again and then reverts to careless. "I don't care for it.. could be there... but then there.. It doesn't matter. But it worse when I thought you'd leave... " He put his forehead against hers. Nuzzling her.
He did what came natural. He guessed. He would calm and let things flow now.

She leaned her forehead on his when he got close and she took in his sour/sweet scent. But her chest started to ache when he said he didn't feel well and it was only when she was around, and she strangely felt sad and rejected again, "I do not want you to bury yourself. Do you want me to leave? So you can feel better?" she whispered softly, looking into his eyes.

"Don't leave... It'd make it worse. Just talking about it... hurts." His shining moon calmed him some. He curled his tail around her. "I'll be fine. If I was sick..I'd still want you here...." He finally said. He shook his head some and looked in her red orbs of eyes. He put his paw on her cheek; softly rubbing his fingers between her fur.

She smiled lightly at him, the hurt in her chest slowly going away, and she was silently glad he did want her to stay there with him. She stared up into his eyes and leaned a little into his paw when he put it on her cheek, "If you are sick, I will help you get better..." she whispred softly.

"I'd like that..." He let go of her cheek and turned to the drawing. He pulled her on the stool. Seeing it was small he put her on his lap. Gently handling her. "You see..." He pointed it out to her. Her face. Calming. What he always wanted her to look like. Even more. He'd want her to smile.
He held her close. Not really meaning anything by it... just wanting to hold her.

She allowed him to take her to the stool and when he pulled her into his lap, she got comfortable, leaning against him. She looked at the drawing and she actually gave a happy, genuine smile. She looked up at him, the smile still on her face, and it seemed to go into her red eyes, "It's beautiful..." she said softly, rubbing at his cheek with her paw.
