r.stein4eva when I was about 6 years old. My big brother and my sis listened to du hast. So about 7 or 8 years now... surprised but i really didn't get into them until aroung the time of mutter, when I saw XXX and heard feuer frei! Same here, about the Feuer Frei thing anyway. I mean, back in 1995 when Herzeleid came out, I would've only been two years old. Then after that it was Du Hast. Then a friend of mine made me a compilation thingy of Rammstein songs.

14 with my friend Elvy. He let me listen to his sehnsucht cd on his cd player and let me around like a dog on a leash cause i didn't want to stop.

I was 14. The first song I ever listen to from them is Ich Will. Then Amerika following right after...

Around the middle of last year. My friend told me about them but I never had the interest until I heard one of their songs on a Neon Genesis Evangelion video. The song used was Engel and I thought it was awsome. So then I got curious and listened to more.
I also heard them on some Resident Evil videos but really, it was the song Engel that I liked and it got me to listen more of their songs. So then I started to listen to Links, Hallelujah, Feuer Frei, Du Hast, Amerika, Eifersucht, Bestrafe Mich.... so on xp
Hell, I was so into them that I got my cousin into it as well.

I think i was 12. Sonne was on TV, but i didnt pay much attention to it. (Bad Mistake) Then last year I saw Live Aus Berlin on google video, and i have loved the band ever since. 3nodding

Uhm... Last year in the summer I do believe... I was watching 100 most memorable rock moments (or 100 most something... something) on VH1 Classic.. and they mentioned Rammstein a German band with pyrotechnics in their concerts.. Well, I heard a tiny bit of their song playing (soon to find out it was "Buck Dich") and me being a bit of a pyro and interested in the German culture, I bought their Reise Reise album CD. The very first song I've actually listened to all the way through was (go figure) "Reise Reise" and thought they sounded neat. After listening to the entire CD.. well.. I'm still stuck in my Rammstein phase. xd

It was a sunny day, hotter then usual as my friends and I escaped the heat by hinding in a shed in my backyead. My friend dragged his older brother down with him, and there was this ackward silence until I said, "what do you guys want to listen to?", as I pointed to the stereo.
Before I could fully blink his brother was up out of the couch and pluging his iPod into the stereo. Suddenly a bass line like no other played loud, yet sure and powerful. THEN! eek a voice, deep and beakoning sung in the tongue of my father. They both start to sing as I stare into the speakers in awe. The sound was amazing...the synth and drums, all! blended together making a yummy pie for my ears. It seemed to soon as that music ended. then Silence, I had to soke in what I just heard. Then I looked with amazment still in my eyes and ask "who was that?" Then I got the answer that led me onto a life of obsession. They both looked at each other, then me and said in unison "Rammstein"

I first heard them about 9-10 years ago. I had gotten the Lost Highway soundtrack and they happened to have a couple of songs on that album...

I was 15 when I heard of them 16 now. It was July of last year I was on an anime video site and I saw a video of naruot and the music was Buck Dich but I didn't know that or really get into the band intil December.

i think i first heard them when i was like 15, with Du Hast. i didn't enjoy that song, still don't. not sure why.
i first started liking them when i was 16 and i heard Sonne on someone's Gaia profile (ironic!) and then i listened to Amerika and was hooked. i thanked the girl personally xd
