Here are my views:
Dumbledore died too suddenly and it was really lame the way it was done. Snape just walked up and killed him. If it was me writing it (which if it was, the Harry Potter books wouldn't have been so popular around the world), I would have had Malfoy put down his wand and surrender when the Death Eaters come up and Malfoy pretends he hasn't surrendered or something ... *sigh* ... I wish there would have been a fight put up ...
When they said Snape was the Half-Blood prince ... it was really lame. The whole book they built up to it and then "oh yeah by the way I am the half-blood prince" ... meh
Each book we learn more and more about magic and Rowling had creative inventions ... except this one. She only took us to the cave and brought us adventures through the Pensieve ... *sigh* I liked each new original idea ...
My theory: (I know I am not the only one who thinks this) R.A.B. is Sirius' brother. The Death Eater. In the 5th it was briefly mentioned that the locket was at Sirius' house ... next to the tapestry ... I think. Still there is this to conscider: Harry now owns the house AND the dude who was raiding Sirius' house might have taken the locket. I guess we will just have to wait and find out.
I think this book was Part One for the ending. SO many things were left unsettled. I don't like the idea of Harry Potter without Hogwarts.

I didn't take the time to read through this whole thread sorry.
My comments on the book are:
-No clue Dumbledore was the one to die and I started crying during break of summer school math when I read it.
-I absolutely hate Snape. I never liked him to begin with now, no chance of him proving himself again to me.
-I think Dumbledore dieing is a good thing in the way that in the last 3 pages, Harry realises he's got to do this on his own now.
-I never suspected Snape as the HBP. That was just weird. I was sure it was Hagrid
-As for the Horcruxes, remember the locket they found in OotP when they were cleaning out a cabnet? Maybe that is the one they are talking about.
-And lastly, I feel sorry for Malfoy for once. I mean, he seemed really scared and I don't think he really wanted to go through with killing Dumbledore. If the other Death Eaters hadn't arrived, I think he would have taken Dumbledore's offer of protection.

Ok here i go:
1. that link was awesome!!!!!!!
2. I think even if hogwarts doesnt open, harry will go back!!! He will search through Dumbledore's office fo r anything that might help!!!! He might look at more memorys that Dumbledore has stored, etc.
3. I agree that harry probably wouldn't be able to destroy all the horcruxes and Voldermort in the same year!!! Who knows, maybe Rowling will split the 7th book in two volumes or something like that!!!!!
