Angel didn't understand at 1st. As the Dark Lord held out one of his lightsabers to her, she could only admire it, as she could tell it was unlike all the others she ever saw. Maybe she saw it as having a different look, or maybe she only it saw it as the Dark Lord's, but she felt it was unique either way. Slowly, she reaches her hand out, and nods in acceptance as she grabs it. Now, many thoughts race through her head as to why he offered it.

"well, lets get the show on the road."Cale said. he thumbed on the comn to the passenger section. "Attention sentinents, we are begining our departure. please sit down and buckle up. we will be on coruscant in 30 minutes. thank you." he moved to the ships controls and eased the ship out of the hangar. "ok, so buddy, where do we have to take this thing?"
"Westport, Imperial City's spaceport." his co-pilot replied.
"Hmm. wonder what they call Imp City now?" Cale wondered as he broke free of the station's gravity.
"Dunno. They probably changed it back to Republic City. HEY WATCH IT!" the man yelped as Cale almost clipped a Freighter.
"that Fierfeker! he dropped out of hyperspace right on top of us!" Cale Craned his neck around to watch the other vessel get into a designated spacelane.
"LOOK OUT!" the co-pilot shouted.
Cale snapped his head around as he saw a star destroyer fill the Canopy. He cranked the nose up and skimmed the shuttle along the surface of the massive battle cruiser. "Damn Coreworld traffic." he muttered. "They shouldn't cale it space around Coruscant, they should call it filled."

As the girl grasped the saber, Imperius knew it was time to take it back. Swiftly, he Force Gripped it, pulling it back to him.
"Not today," he said cooly.
"Someday, you may earn the right to wield this blade, but until then, you must use your own"
As the words came out of his mouth he FOrce Gripped her saber, pulling it out of the bag and he placed it in her hands, still ina position to hold a lightsaber with.
"Ignite it."
Just as he placed his saber back onto his belt, a humongous explosion rocked the ship, and a surge of Dark Side energy rippled through his bones. He raced toward the viewport, and through the darkness of space and night, saw Republic City lit up by the people who seldom sleep. Higer up, he saw a great, and terrible sight. The Executor-Class Star Destroyer, [i ISD ]Diablo had fired upon them.

Neb jolted in his seat.
"Anyone firing upon a neutral vessel is subject to being blasted themselves. Who knows how many fighters will be called up and the Fleet is 15 minutes away! they are parked within sight on the far side of the planet! WHAT Fool would pick on a small shuttle, more or less TAKE ON THE KAHR-SELIM'S ION CANNONS! Plus.... Where the hell could someone get a damned star destroyer, more or less an Executor-class? Especially since it has no escort," He stated, confounded. He made his way up towards the forward of the shuttle.
"Pilot, if you have any sort of whimsical maneuver, draw the fire towards the station. It will protect our descent, and hell, its shields are powerful enough to take on the fleet."

Angel lost grip of the lightsaber as the Dark Lord used the Force to take it back from her. Angel then found herself holding her own, and just as the Dark Lord told her to ignite it, the shuttle was rocked by an explosion. She followed him to the viewpoint and for the 1st time, saw an actual Executor class Star Destroyer. Angel quickly re-assembled her repeating blaster. Although it would do no good unless someone attempted to board the shuttle, she held it ready. Thinking this was an attack that could end up starting a battle, Angel said, " Lord Imperius, although I lack being assigned to any Imperial unit at the moment, I await your command. "

The ship jolted as laser fire raked its hull. the Co-pilot began to lose it. "Whe're Farkled! thats a farlkling SSD! Its shooting at us!"
"yeah! I know!" Cale snapped at him. "shut up! Watsamanter? never been shot at?" Figures he thought. we have no guns.stupid ignorant coreworlders suddenly a man burst into the cockpit.

ok, just gimme a minute to pull it out of the usual place!" Cale's eyes darted from the destroyer to the space around him. then, a mad grin formed on his face. he reached for the comn "you people better buckle up! we're going to fly fancy!" he started flipping and twisting the Shuttle in a mad series of turns and rolls barelly dodging laser blasts as the destroyer tried to shoot them down. "so, boys, ever play chicken with a Star destroyer?" he maneuvered the ship to the dorsal side of the Cruser and began to skim the ships hull, maxing out the engines on a collision course with its bridge. the Fire became thicker and more coordinated, ocasionally striking and rattling the ship. as the bridge neared, cale kept the ship steady. it looked like he was going to hit, then almost at the last second, he darted to the side, missing the bridge by only a few meters. the path toward coruscant was clear. he shifted power from the forward shields and gravity to the engines. the ship blasted forward past a pair of republic cruisers. He looked back at the others in the cockpit. "so how was that?"

Lyle sat back and held on waiting for the ship to become stable. He was in no particular rush, nor was he worried that the ship whould be destroyed.

SIlently, as the Diablo began another wave of fire, Imperius turned to the girl.
'i find this allegiance to the Imperium disturbing. THey are the one's firing upon us. the Republic must retaliate. Until then, if you do await my command, you shall await the command of the Republic as well, for soon, I will be Supreme Chancellor of the Republic."
Upon hearing Neb,he addressed him ludly, without turning his back from the vieport.
"It's not so hard to get a Star Destroyer these days. THe Republic has been using their Repbulic and Neblua class destroyers, and the Remnant forces are still pledged with FOndor and Kuat Drive Yards. They could have a damn Eclipse class on their hands for all we know of."

"I know the availiability, but i just came from those places, and those are under teh closest observations. You seem to think that you can just hide a Star Destroyer just anywhere. I've been combing this galaxy on side assignments, and this is the only one we ahven't found out of the records. But soon, it will promptly be taken over, and if you didn't notice, an unprovoked attack from an unescourted SSD, no matter how powerful, is foolish to strike at the inner core. The biggest problem is who is foolish enough to just give the Republic a ship like this. Even a trained rancor knows better." Neb said, trying to multitask.
"Pilot, nice job. The station is now fully concentrated on this, I suggest you get planetside before the fighters come..."

HE returned to the viewport, where the girl was.
"Where did you get the saber?"
THe shuttle rocked with turbolaser fire once more, when Imperius saw the Diablo make the jumo to lightspeed. THe Imperials' hit-n-fade tecnique was becoming quite popular, considering an Executor class ship was using the tactic

"Did that Star Cruiser just pull a H+H?" Cale blinked increduously at the space where the ship had been. "That takes Choobies to pull a Hit and Hype with an Exec'" he muttered. the shuttle flitted past the solar collectors and the low orbit Freight stations, then made planet fall in the spaceport of Coruscant's Capital: Republic City. Glittering towers stretched to the horizon and ships, airspeeders and public transports were everywhere. Cale set the ship down on an open air landing pad. He unbuckled himself and moved to leave. "see you buddy. might want to invest in a new pair of pants." Cale strutted down the landing ramp and took a deep breath. "ah, the smell of Corrupt burreacracy and wasted tax dollars. not that I pay taxes anyway..." he rolled up his Shuttle pilot hat and tucked it in his belt. "now to see about getting the hell out of here. " he glanced to the towering Galactic senate building and began to think. "hmm. wonder if Han's here somehwere, he's a big shot now, he might have connections." then he grimaced. "scratch that, Last thing I need is to get mixed up in jedi, laws, and galactic politics." he looked around trying to find a helpful directory bot.

No sooner had the pilot set the shuttle down did the busy beauraucrats disembark the battered shuttle and begin their day anew in Coruscant. Imperius lingered back, to fiish his conversation with the girl.

" Where did you get the saber? " the Dark Lord asked her. Angel stared down at her lightsaber, still in hand. " It was a reward for completing my training back at the Academy. It's only useful to me as a last resort weapon though, and my skills with it aren't even close to that of a Jedi or a Sith. I can only dream of having skills like yours, Lord Imperius. "

Vin was still a bit surprised at the emergance of an unknown Super Star Destroyer showing up. But something really bothered him about that ship. It was the fact it seemed to target the shuttle imediatly.
Vin quickly went through a list of known passengers on the shuttle and could find no obvious reason for this shuttle to be a target, beside him and Neb being on it. No matter it was in the past and something to solve in his free time. Vin looked to Sage.
"Sage, you do understand that running after Trandoshans is going to cause a Wookie like you much conflict. I may be a Jedi but it would be impossible to keep you safe if you keep this up. Besides, the fact that that Trandoshan owns a droid could me trouble in many ways. It is a rich fellow who owns an astromech and it is that same rich fellow who has been around the galaxy enough to have a mech that keeps him out of trouble. You may owe that droid a great thanks." Vin finished.

Cale kept his eye on who filed out of the ship, and he wasn't very happy. he counted at least three people who owned lightsabres, meaning three jedi. if there was one thing Cale was afraid of, it was Jedi. he couldn't stand them. the sooner he was away from them, the better. then he saw something that sparked his intrest. about a dozen blocks away, near the edgeof what he assumed was the senate district was a run down little diner. Cale had heard of the place from a couple of smuggling contacts. they said it was a good place to get info and get food at the same time, though they didn't recomend the food. A little place called Dexter's Diner. Dex had retired and the place was now in the care of his former head server.
Cale grinned. "Well now, I suddenly got a craving for a hot cup of Ardees..."
