Smirks. "Well, well, Valik...I certainly did not imagine seeing you around these parts," Judokura said with a bit of a teasing air. Placing his left hand upon his sword to keep it still against his side, he strode towards his dark aquaintance and held out his sword-arm for a greeting.
He had met Valik almost eight years ago on accident. Back then he and Valik were somewhat alike, they both took their business very seriously and seldom ever expressed themselves; Valik bound to his duties and Judokura to his own. However, time changes everything and only Valik appeared to be the same.
"Never-the-less old friend, it is good to see you."

"Valik..." he said cleanly to Vice in a low but lingering voice before turning his attention to the upcoming Judokura.
"It is good to see you too your lordship." He gave a curt nod as he grasped Judokura's arm tightly as was the traditional warrior's greeting. " I was hoping I Wouldn't see you here..."

He laughed openly before giving Valik an intentionally hard slap upon the back. "You are a fiend Valik, that is all I have to say." Turning around to face the cottage where Shakka still stood at the window he began the introduction: "This brooding person here is an old aquaintance of mine; Valik is his name...and Valik, this is Shakka."
Judokura smiled playfully and took a backstep away from Valik, never taking his eyes off of the man for doing so may be fatal. "Now if you would excuse me Valik, I have to fetch some wood for our lovely hostess here. Stay a while," he commanded without room for leway (or whatever as such).
With that Judokura promptly began his hunt for dried branches that may have fell during the winds last night. Luckily for him there was a suitable gathering of them around the trunk of the fir tree that he spent last night up in. Careful not to drop any, he balanced the load in his arms and trudged back into the cottage to fuel the whimper of a fire. "There we are," he said, dusting his hands off, "I believe that will do for now."

Valik did not bother with the greeting, he only acknowledged Shakka with his eyes before turning away. He was not one who was much for words unless if they were needed or if he was pressed to speak. If he did not speak to a person it wasnt necessarily an insult, it was normal, but if he did manage to speak, it was a compliment even if all he did was curse them out.
Under Judokura's command and silently his own wishes, Valik chose to stay with the company for at least a while. He still growled.
While Judokura was busy with the petty task of collecting firewood (for a lord this was quite a humble task, but then again Judo did grow soft--pathetic), Valik calmly walked over to Vice...

He turns and sees Valik approaching "What can I do for you Valik?" he says calmly as not to make Valik mad.

"thank you Lord Judokura now breakfeast will be done a lot sooner now" then looking back out the window I then glance into Valik's eyes and noticing that he was going to stay that she would need to prepare some more food which she always keeped in case and got it out.

He shrugs his shoulders lightly, "It is no problem Shakka." Calmly he walked towards the watercloset to freshen up. He'd be back in a short while.
(Ha ha, sorry, my brain is tired)

Neko takes the plate from Shakka and says "Thank you." she puts some in her mouth and a small smile comes on her face. She couldn't remember how long it was since she had a decent meal.

Valik shook his head from side to side as he stepped up a few steps away from Vice. "Nothing," he answered softly. He was just rather irritable at the moment and he did not exactly want to be invited in front of a foreign company just yet.
With a quiet growl of displeasure he hefted up his rifle onto his right shoulder. It was a rather cumbersome piece of equipment; it'd be best if he could trade it in for a shotgun of some sort sooner or later. As it seemed, however, that would not be the case in such a vast forest as this.
Where was he anyways?

Feeling refreshed after the quick rinse, Judokura walked back into the dining area as he retied his lengthy hair back into a ponytail with his red ribbon. He paused for a second at the doorway to both calculate and observe the company within the room. Several of them had already begun to eat, but he was bothered by the fact that Shakka had served all but herself. It would be rude to give up his food, but to consume it all would be a folly as well...so in the end Judokura stole up to a plate of food and split the morsel for both him and his hostess to enjoy.
"Here, this will be plenty enough for me," he assured Shakka as he delivered her portion. Taking his plate, he traveled back over to an empty seat to eat in peace.

Valik leered in the direction of Shakka's beckoning voice, but in the end he reluctantly went on his way towards the cottage and the promise of food. Opening the front door with a creak he allowed the senses to wash over him. The sight of the young (minus Judokura), the sounds of clacking utencils, the heat, and of course the smell of warm toasted bread ebbed away his uneasiness of the strange company.
Removing his cloak and ushanka at the door he took up a seat next to Judokura and pulled at a loose strand of the lord's hair. "Fool, why not just cut it?"
