Taerel turned to Candy and nodded in agreement. Ace really was an adorable creature. "Mm!" she grinned.
Domeki looked at the blood that had dried on his black fur.
Taerel ran her fingers along the new bandage. "Thank you.." she blushed and forced out a weak smile.

"That is me." he smiled. He glanced over at the other girl. "Hehe thanks." he said blushing and rubbing the back of his head. These people seem really nice. he thought. He glanced over at Zero, no one seeming to be hurting him yet he seemed as though he was in a lot of pain. It must be from the spell... Ace thought, recalling the spell one of the boys did that hit his forehead.

"Well, anyways..." Kai begain, rolling his sapphire eyes to the sky, trying to think of worthy questions. "Okay. I heard something about there being some artifact that could grant any wish. I dont care as much about the amulate as I do of the people who could be after it. Could you tell me anything you know about anyone who could be after it?" He asked.

Zero searched through his memory. "Hmmm..Well I did hear some people that I robbed a few days ago talking about some artifact. They didn't say where it was though, or at least I didn't hear...They seemed to be a ruff gang also." he recalled. It seemed as though some of the spell was wearing off, because his speech was now returning to normal speed.

It was then she noticed something odd about Taerel.
"Wait..." Candy hushed as she put her hand over Taerel's forehead. "Fever, sweat... Taerel, how do you feel right now?"

"So basically, you know nothing..." Kai said, in disapointment. It was obvious that he wasn't a part of any kind of gang. If he was, there would most likely be more, and he would have said it more obviously that he knew something. Hearing what Candy just said, he turned curiously towards Taerel. "Fever?" He asked curiously.

Taerel hated being taken care of. It brought everybody else down. Other than her face growing cold, she didn't feel any different than she normally would after battle. She shifted her weight to one side, and received a head rush that made her vision go completely black, her head felt like it was spinning.
She pretended like nothing was wrong, and put her focus on where she thought Zero was, missing eye contact several inches above his head.
"Mm.. It's nothing!" she said, forcing out a laugh.

Candy, being a healer, didn't believe she was telling the truth. She watched Taerel's eye movement closely and noticed a bit of a panic within them.
"Lay down," she stated softly, yet seriously. "You need some rest and medicine."
She looked back to Kai and asked, "Do you think we could set up camp here tonight?"

"Hey Tyo. Watch the thief for me." Kai said softly, as he walked over to Taerel, and looked into her eyes closely. "She's lieing..." He announced, as if it wasn't obvious already. Kai turned back to Candy and nodded in agreement. "Yeah. We probably should."
Now that no one was watching, Tyo had quickly made his way over to Zero, and pulled out his sharpie marker. "Just hold still. This won't hurt a bit." He said sadistically, pulling off the cap. He kneeled down, drawing squigly lines and a fake beard and mustasche over Zero's face. The who point he paralized him at all was just for this moment.

Zero tried to move, but his body still wouldn't listen. All he could do was slightly move his head up and down. "I'll make sure you kill you later, or something..." he said glaring Tyo. Hopefully this will wear off soon...Ace and I need to make our escape. he said watching Ace. It seemed as though Ace could make friends so easily, Zero wished he could be like Ace sometimes. He sighed as he just stared up at the sky,

Tyo smiled blankly at Zero. It seemed to be the closest thing he had to a serious face. "Honestly, you don't know how many people have said that to me." Closing his eyes and smirking even wider, he jumped back up off his knees and began prancing over to the rest.

Taerel obediently lied down near a tree. Domeki sat next to her head. Taerel looked up at Domeki, his head directly above hers. Domeki looked back at her with his large, yellow eyes.

Candy nodded back to Kai and looked over to the tree that Zero and Ace fell out of when they first encountered them.
"We could build a shelter under that tree," she observed as she stayed close to Taerel and Domeki. "If we cut enough of the long grasses, we should be able to make a fire pit."

"You have nothing to appoligize for." Kai informed, walking over to a stone and sitting down on it. "If we camp in this region, we probably should not do it out in the open. I will go look for a more secluded area." He announced, rising from his shortly lived rest. He swung his scabbard over his shoulder, while dropping his pack. It would be safe with everyone else watching it. "I'll be back shortly." He said, trotting off the trail.

Candy nodded again to Kai but stood before him extending her hand to his heart. She closed her eyes and mumbled a spell.
"If conflict happens to arise while you are searching," she said softly. "this spell will boost your health and strength. It will only affect you until you come back."
She walked back to Taerel and took out some Chickweed from one of her cloak pockets.
"This will get rid of your fever," she explained as she prepared it into a cream. "It may taste a little bitter, but you must let your body digest it. My magic only heals common wounds, not sicknesses."
