Dara lead him through the hallways of the Nest with ease, showing that she had been born in this place and considered it her own for she knew it best. She was barely even paying attention to her direction as she easily led him through the hallways to stop in front of a door that was gaurded by two of her wolves. "Alpha Dara," they said in acknowledgement of her as they gave breif bows and parted from the door to allow her to pass but gave Matthias suspicious looks. Noticing their looks of discomfort Dara said, "He shall enter with me today." "M'lady, you know Cane will not be pleased with this," one of the gaurds said. Dara sighed as he mentioned the wolf that was currently looking to be her mate. By far he was the youngest of the heads at twenty-five, but he was experienced enough, as he had been in more battles than Dara could count. He had expressed interest in mating with her a while back and had since been zealously confronting her if she had ever even glanced at another wolf. It had gotten so bad she had been forced to reasert her place as alpha above him. He had since then been angered at anyone and everything that moved, and her bringing in another male from the pack would certainly anger him. Dara sighed. "I'm tired of him. Before he enters tell him he must behave himself or I am banning him from all future meetings." The two gaurds nodded and Dara stepped forward opening the door and walking in before waiting for Matthias to follow.

A dark figure moved outside, trying to find a shadow. At first glance, the figure could be mistaken for a young boy. And normally always was.
Sesheta found a shadow right next to a window. She tried to catch her breath as the poison in her arm was acting up. The shade eased the pain a little, but her head was swimming. That was a really pretty sunrise, she commented to herself on the thing she most liked about her "curse." The beautiful colors always were something to adored in the morning and at night.
The girl had noticed all the werewolves as soon as she had gotten close to the town. Unfortunetly, she was almost out of night light, so she needed to find a place to hang until it was dark. I am so making a map so I don't get in this situation again, she scolded herself.
The noise of a door opening caught her attention. In curiosity, Sesheta looked inside the window, taking care to stay in the shade. Wonder what's goin' on? she thought at the gathering inside. She placed her hand on the glass to better position herself.

Trisha walked out of the Nest in a huff. She had just been in a big argument with her mother again on how she was shaming her for being unwilling to kill the vampire '******** bastards' as her mother had put it. Honestly, she was tired of being forced to do the things her very morals were set against. That was why she had become one of the Sucanti. One of the ten Sucanti, Trisha was feared as the wolves protecter and policeman. She was one of the few who policed the wolves who got out of line and threatened to allow the discovery of her packs location. Anyone who acted against the pack was either punished, banned, or killed by either her or one of her fellow Sucanti, allowing them to be both feared and respected. Besides policing the werewolves, her group of wolves protected their pack from having their location discovered by the outside world of both vampires and humans. As Trisha walked in a huff around the nest she scratched her neck where the head of her black snake tattoo rested with its tounge flicking to her ear. The body of the snake wrapped around her arm and ended in the palm of her hand. It was the mark of all Sucanti and a marked feared by all, for it was said within the humans and vampires that those bearing the mark were incarnations of the devil himself, and would kill you in an instant of looking at you. These rumors the werewolves happily helped as they were glad to escalate their own power to any amount to keep them safe, even if it was just a bluff, though the Sucanti certainly weren't bluffs when it came to their skills in battle.
Today Trisha wore a simple white dress and had her white hair pulled back into a pony tail, leaving her blue eyes to stand out from the rest of her body. Sighing Trisha turned behind the Nest and what she saw there made her stop cold in her tracks. There stood what looked like a young boy in the shade. But that wasn't what caught her attention. What caught her attention was the definent stench of vampire that was coming from the boy. Imediatly Trisha turned from fuming about her mom to turn into a defensive fighting stance, as she narrowed her eyes at the vampire. "Why are you here?" she asked, her voice stone cold and her eyes showing no emotions whatsoever. She may have been one of the nicer wolves, but it didn't mean that if her pack was being threatened she wouldn't kill the person who was about to harm it. Her body was tensed ready to spring after the vampire should the vampire choose to run.

Sesheta's ears perked at the sound of the question behind her. In surpise, she spun around to find a werewolf. Not that she should've been surprised; this was a werewolf village. Never was good at hide and seek, she dully thought at her incompetance.
She kept to the ground as not to be threatening; her arm over her knees leisurely, though tense for an attack. "Well," she began, "I was lookin' for something called 'shade' as I was passing by. Didn't mean to intrude on anything." Well that came out more confidently than normal, she silently praised herself. A slight fear tried to grab her as she finally thought of the major consequences that could play out for her being here. I could really be dead by night, couldn't I? she fearfully thought.

Trisha's jaw tightened at the vampire's response. Looking for shade in a werewolf pack was suicidal, unless of course you didn't realise you were in the werewolf pack... If it had been any other wolf in Trisha's Sucanti group had met the vampire before her they would have killed the vampire then and there, but Trisha didn't enjoy needless killing. "And what, pray tell, were you doing around here, searching for shade?" she asked, her voice steely.

Sesheta knew she could answer the question many ways, being more confusing then she was worth. Her face gave a thoughtful look as she bought time. At least I'm not dead yet, she thought to herself in bad humor. A toss of her head rustled the messy bangs that hung loose from her too big cap.
The truth to what she was doing? Nothing that is any of a werewolf's business, she angrily thought. And I'm already in enough danger with my own kind. I don't need werewolves using me against them. It was a frightening thought that she could be taken hostage for the stupid poison that tore at her body. The vampires who knew of the curse only wanted it to stay in the sun. To be able to fight day and night could be a problem. Sesheta just wanted to live; to avenge the death of her mother and maybe find out what happened to her brother.
"Trying to stay out of trouble," Sesheta answered. She shrugged her shoulders and looked away. "I'm not about to start any trouble don't find a fancy for it." Though it looks real suspisious that I'm already in the village. She winced at the thought. Maybe I shouldn't've bypassed those senturies, she scolded herself. As she was trying to pass off as a younger vampire, and a boy, she technically didn't yet have the skill to go around unseen by werewolves.

Trisha scowled at the vampire's response. They were far to vague and she was not in the mood for this. Really, had it been any other werewolf the vampire would already be a pile of dust, but Trisha hated to kill anyone without a true reason. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you here and now, like the scum of a being you are!" Trisha demanded, her voice resonating as she called forth the magic bestowed to each Sucanti and formed two ice daggers, that would burn the same as any full blown flame, to her hands. "Think carefully apon this answer vampire, for it may very well be your last words."

Sesheta was beginning to think her cockiness went a little too far. Now she stood up and backed away until her back was against the building. "I could tell you name calling isn't very respectful," she murmered. "But I don't think you'd listen." And I bet I'm older than you, she thought wearily. And I doubt the whole "respect your elders" is out of the question.
"I'm just passing though, and don't want to fight. A good reason you shouldn't kill me? I've done nothing, taken nothing. I'll be out after nightfall." And magic isn't exactly something I'm used to fighting. A pain in her left arm, awakened by the feeling of a fight, reminded her of the awfulness of the poison. On a few occasions, she was forced to use a special weapon with the poison. It was a hand-length skewer, like an enlarged toothpick. Sesheta was taught to coat the needles with the poison of her curse, which was painful, and throw it with deadly aim at an opponent. The poison was already eating at her alive, but only a few could have that privaledge.
The smell of death came from the memory. She stiffened involuntarily. To ready herself, she slipped one of the needles from her coat arm to her hand. If she was attacked, she could use them without needless killing. Without poison.

Tisha didn't trust the vampire at all, though she didn't trust any vampire for that matter. On that subject she really didn't trust that many of her own kind... but still there was something about this vampire that offset her, like the vampire was truly hiding something. "This is wolf territory, vampire," Trisha settled herself into saying. "No vampire without a death wish would travel within a hundred miles of here. By nightfall if any other werewolf is to see you, and seeing as you are deep within our territory it's bound to happen, they will kill you. But as for me, I do not wish to kill you without a reason but if you don't start giving me some strait answers here I'll be forced to fight. I do not want needless bloodshed. Now answer me strait before I will be forced to fight you. Why would a vampire travel within wolf territory if not to spy on us, threaten us, or try and kill one of my fellow pack members? Now that I have seen you I cannot allow you to wonder through here at all. Now please try and tell me how I can know that you are here without any intent to harm my pack mates."

Sesheta immediatly felt a wave of respect for the young wolf. "Now you're getting somewhere," she said with a wave of her hand, rehiding her needles with the action. Some questions that can't be danced around, she though with a smile. The chase was fun, but someone learning how to play the game was priceless.
"I am not a spy," she said bluntly. Lieing wasn't her strong point, even if jumping around the question was. But with the weak security around here, I may as well be a spy. She deliberatly thought of her words as she said them, "I understand your position," she began with consession to the opposition. "An unfortunete folly of mine was not paying attention to my surroundings. I had no idea I had crossed over into wolf-territory. A true mistake, one I promise to not make again." I sound like a bloody diplomat, she thought with a sneer to her speech.
"If you don't want me wandering, I understand. You can watch me all day if you want. I won't go anywhere you don't want me to." Then she rose a finger, "But I would prefer not it to be a cell." I wouldn't want them to have the trouble of looking for me when I escape, she wickedly thought.

Trisha looked at the vampire debating on whether she should trust the vampire or not. She knew never to trust a vampire, but if she didn't at least take a little faith on what the vampire was saying she might as well not have even bothered having the vampire explain how he got there. Trisha sighed as she released her magic and the daggers disapeared, but she didn't let her gaurd down for one second. She wasn't that stupid. "My I ask you're name since you shall obviously be staying with us till nightfall at least?"

Sesheta brightened at the turn of events. "I'll give you mine if you give me yours," she grinned wolfishly. Then not even waiting for an answer, she continued, "I'm Sesh." She held out a hand to shake then remembered that the werewolf was already not too friendly, thought most weren't. An after thought that the sun was out there crossed her mind that not shaking hands also was for the best. She concealed action by lifting her hat and running her hand through her hair. Then placing the cap firmly back on, curling her short hair up where the cap surrounded her head.
The shortened form of her name wasn't at all untrue. She was called Sesh by one of her brothers at one time. It was more masculine, as Sesheta was very feminine.

"Sesh..." Trisha murmered as if commiting it to memory. She debated on whether to give her real name, after all she was the cousin to the packs alpha and could be captured and used against the young alpha as a hostage. Trisha sighed. She was never good at dishonesty. "I'm Trisha, Ninth member of the Sucanti," she added that last wondering on what the vampire would do when he heard the name... but in all honesty didn't really care. "Now..." she thought for a moment and summoned a cloak, it was her favorite cloak made of black cloth so soft you'd swear it was wolven fur. "This should block the suns rays," she said, handing her treasured cloak to the vampire. "Put it on and don't be seen by any other wolf. I may not wish bloodshed but my family may not concur with my thoughts. This way you are safe from the sun and sure death by my family as I take you to a far safer place then here, where you are sure to invite unwanted attention." She held her arm out with the cloak, waiting for Sesh to take it.

Again, Matthias was forced to wait, but showed no signs of impatience. He merely observed while Dara cast aside the guards and their frettings. Matthias knew Cane's name, but not much beyond that. Why would his opinion on Matthias's presence matter? Was the wolven out for Dara's attention? Or was he some close-minded bureaucrat type? Some stickler for traditions? Only time would tell it seemed. He followed Dara into the room, and noticed several heads turn in his direction. Immediately, he locked gazes with his house head, and strode quickly in the man's direction. Most, if not all, gazes followed him around the table.
When Matthias stood next to his house head's chair, Halen Roderick he was named, the grizzled werewolf stood, a sense of strength and authority emanating from his six and half foot human form. "I have come to request your permission to allow my appearance during this meeting, and this meeting alone." The tension in the room had obvious escalated, and Matthias could tell many others wished to speak. Halen studied Matthias with a level gaze, measuring his very soul it seemed, with a piercing gaze that could make any child, vampire or werewolf, shiver. After some time, he nodded solemnly.
"This time, and this time only shall I vouch for your presence. Henceforth, you will have to earn that right." Matthias sighed and nodded, grateful for the outcome. Apparently word had not made its way to his leader that he had earned his way in, but he chose not to say anything. Others might view it as disrespect, although Matthias was sure Halen would not see it so. He was a respectable man, and he had Matthias's whole-hearted support in leadership.
After letting his gaze move about the room to see whether the others approved or disproved of the decision, he moved himself away from the table, and stood along the wall behind his house head, arms folded across his chest.
