Brook dark orbed back in. "What?" She asked in a less then entertained tone. For once, she actually sounded whatever emotion she was feeling and right now she was pissed.

"Our plan to turn Austin didnt work as we expected. It turns out that freak of magical energy wont conform to the normal rules of death. He's still got his soul. I want you to sway him to our side. Normally I'd let Katana do the swaying, but considering your history I figured you'd be the best for the job."

Brook appeared in Matt's lair, not all too sure what she was doing there. She planned on winning Austin back, but she needed to figure out how to, without incriminating herself. She thought to herself. She didn't know what had attracted Austin to Alyssa. She sat in thought, only to realize she needed to learn more about this actress from New York.

Matt turned the corner to see Brook deep in thought. "Man, if you only acted this serious when it came to your job." He laughed. "Just kidding. Really though, whats up?"

Brook had barely noticed Matt's entrance before he spoke to her. She had an air about her, that she didn't care that he was teasing her. "Austin has found someone else in his time in New York and I'm trying to figure out a way to win him back." She told him, seriously. "Just to do my job of course." She added, although she was lying it sounded a bit appealing to not be in love with Austin anymore.

"Ah, good. I can actually help with that one." He walked in front of her and handed her a folder, all official like. "My sources tell me the girl works for Diamond Productions, as does Austin. Since Jack Diamond was my chief financial adviser, I may be able to pull some strings in that department. That and the fact that since I'm alive, his takeover of Levi Productions was completely illegal, and could force him to serve jail time. And we all know that wouldn't be an appealing thought." He began to walk back out of the room. "You continue your efforts with Austin. I'm going to go check in with my old friend." He flamed out.
Katana had been listening from the shadows. "So... You're going after lover-boy again? Shame. I thought those two made a cute couple." She smirked.

Brook rolled her eyes. "Sorry, were you talking to me or were you too busy betraying your father by working for the witch that killed him?" She asked Katana, raising an eyebrow. Usually, she almost dared her to make a snide comment, just so she'd have a good reason to kill her, but today she was too lost in her own thoughts. She looked diwb at the folder on Alyssa and managed a smile.

Matt flamed int. "Alyssa's been put on the streets. No money, no home, no job." He looked and saw that Katana was there. "Good. You're here. I want you to take her out while Brook focuses on Austin. We need him back on our side. He worked for Shadow long enough to know more secrets than either of you. Even you, Katana."
Katana folded her arms in discontent. She knew he was right. For some reason her father never told her much. She didnt know why, but she hated it. "I'm on it." She faded out to kill Alyssa.
((I dont have much of a storyline to go with here. I still dont know what I'm trying to accomplish. Oh, and Matt is now expendable if you ever choose to take him out.))

"If you kill Alyssa, Austin is going to come to me with it." She told Matt, seriously. "He's going to think I went after her." She told him. "I'm not known to be very merciful when it comes to things I want, how do you expect him to believe that I didn't kill her?" She asked Matt, realizing what she needed to do. "Nevermind, I've got to go see Austin in New York." She told him, dark orbing out.

Brook dark orbed back in, with a bit of a smirk. She knew that Matt would probably be furious with her for not running this by him first, but it was ultimately getting her back with Austin, or at least close to him, which was exactly what Matt wanted. She sat back, as she watched Matt enter.

"New York." She told him shortly. "By the way, I've got Austin helping me with protecting my neice from the future against a demon from the future." She told Matt, with a smirk. Only what she didn't know what that there actually was a powerful demon from the future after her neice.

((I had to read that through a few times to get it, but it sounds cool now that I understand))
Matt stood silent, and a bit perplexed. "Ok, whatever you say.... If it'd help your mission...."
Katana faded in, bleeding and breathing heavily. "That damn witch!"
"You didnt kill her?!"
"Well, no... not exactly. I hurt her.... bad. But she was too... good to.... hang on. I need to catch..... my breath." She paused for a moment to breath. "Ok, better now. Anyway, we fought, I hurt her, she hurt me, and eventually I had to just grab her and fade to China. She's too weak to use her speed, so it'll be a while before we see her again. I'll go back after her once I'm healed up."
Matt, once again, stood silent. "Ok." He turned and walked out to do some business.
