Hyperspace
The Hyperon fled through Hyperspace. Behind it, a much larger Naval vessell persued it. Nither ship could fire because it would cause a lare power feedback that would make the ships explode. "Run a search on possible..." "Asteroids." S smooth female voice replied, and the ship suddenly cut hyperspace, "Oh no. Power cut at a bad time." James yelled, running to a console, the Naval vessell reverted behind him, and was suddenly in the path of a couple of large asteroids, that hit the ship hard. As its systems were hit, it begun to implode. The Hyperdrive cords suddenly glowed with life again as the code was imput right. Walking to other systems, Stratford kept working. Remaining in the asteroid field, then flopping in his seat, and closing his eyes, "Just avoid asteroids, but don't leave."

Nonahs S.O.S signal was starting to die agian, so she kicked it. She looked out the window and thought she saw a ship chasing another. She blinked, and they were gone. She kept the S.O.S signal going, occationally kicking the machinery.

Arianeira threw the small craft into hyperspace, ignoring Jet's shout of protest, in order to save time. They had a maximum of about half an hour before someone realised that she was missing, then it was a small jump from her escape to the theft of this ship and an even smaller one to realise where she would be heading next.
Jet quickly turned on the force field that would keep him in his seat and concentrated on where they were going. "It's more to the right." He said and she corrected her course as he continued to give instructions. Several minutes later they stopped, using the distance scanners to take a look at the defence of it. It was pathetic really. Only one of the pilot craft was currently landed and there were only about 6 Allurians on the off-planet site. "Must be trouble close by." She commented.
Jet frowned. "There was a small pirate fleet due to come through this way." He admitted, "Talon's. They may have got wind of it..."
Arianeira nodded. It was quite possible as the Larians moved their sensors every few days or so. Talon was also a friend of hers. "If we hurry up I can get there before the fun's over." Jet nodded. They both knew that he would have to try and take back the stolen ship before the Larians realised it was gone. "Let's go then."
They coasted in slowly; the less engine movement there was, the less likely it was that they would be detected. As soon as it was close enough Jet opened the hatch for Arianeira and activated the secondary controls on his side of the craft. Arianeira had judged the distance a bit short and had to jump from the hatch to the dock. She slipped but caught the edge and soon pulled herself on. She waved as Jet pulled out and sped away, then turned back to the dock. She avoided the pair on patrol easily and it didn't take much to get the ship's hatches open. She patted the sides of the craft fondly as the hatch shut behind her.
"Guess who's back."

Bleep bleep bleep. Bloop bloop bloop. Bleep bleep bleep. Captain Stratford cursed the unusual noise. "What is that cursed racket?" he enquired of his ship, which did a scan. One lifesign, one small lifesign located half a light second in a starbird directionial angle of 45 degrees compaired to this ship. "Right. Of cause it is," Stratford remarked dryly, moving to the window to look at the ship. "Why do people always play near asteroids?" he asked, then sighed, "Open a com channel."
Unknown ship, this is the Hyperon. Do you require assistance?

Drop-Off in Hyperspace
Arianeira slid easily into her seat and turned on the restraint field. She wouldn't usually bother but in a fight it would be useful. She ran her fingers over the familiar controls and set about a manual launch. Unfortunately, this was not easy to do quietly and the two Allurians soon realised what was going on. They ran towards the ship but they were too late to stop it. Arianeira pulled out and they were propelled backwards from the force. Arianeira's ship faded into the distance as the Allurians ran back towards their own craft. By the time they were ready to go she would be long gone.
Arianeira put her small fightership through its paces, soon hitting top gear and heading for the source of the trouble, using her ship's detectors to pick out Talon's ship. He was still there, but barely, his crew had been hit hard and were now outnumbered two to one. Arianeira prayed that she would be in time.

"Hey! A ship! ...it's that chap I met on the transport car." She cleared her throught. "Relámpago Huelga to Hyperon. This is Nonnah, And I bally well do need assistance, wot? Engines out, no Port wing." She called on Com. "We're not to die today!" She said exitedly to her martin.

"Did she just 'wot' me?" The captain asked his ship, Affirmative, Captain. "I thought she did. I wonder if she realises I'm easily annoyed?" Information unknown, Captain "Hmph. Well I guess we should rescue her. Did the tractor beam get converted for Hyperspace travel?" Afirmative. "Then lets tow her from these asteroids slowly, then jump. We'll leave her somewhere where she'll get help." He glanced around then grinned, "Think she likes pirates and the navy?" The ship's visual flashed up, mirroring the grin, Affirmative captain. There is a 78% chance of such a thing. "12% says she don't, and gets blown up. Nice odds. Right. Lets roll."
The ship spun away, a beam of blue light fixing itself to Norrah's ship, which was then pulled by the strainign Hyperon realspace engines to the edge of the field. No message was sent to the Relámpago Huelga at all.

As the little craft slowly driffted towrd the other, Nonnah relaxed. She had a small feeling she was annoying James, so she decided to have a bit more fun. "I thankyou, wot? 'Tis a nice thing for a chap like you to save a lil marm as me, wot WOT?" She giggled to herself.

Anivarah flew gently in her space crusier, InkTale. She sighed. She was a skilled flyer, and she suddenly saw a streak of blue light. she followed it.

"Are you certain the law says I have to take her to safty?" Captain Stratford asked, Yes, Captain, The computer replied in a resigned tone, It says we take her to safty Janes sighed, looking around, they were prettymuch clear of the asteroids. Without replying, Stratford turned off the comms units, "Engage Hyperspace, we'll leave her in the Ultra system again." He grinned, "Perhaps in the middle of the battle?" He reactivated the communicator to hear a last 'WOT?' and ground his teeth. Relámpago Huelga, this is the Hyperon. I hope you have shields because you're going into battle, over. The Hyperdrive engines, with a flash, engaged.

Arianeira let out a short burst on the main guns, tearing a hole straight through the navy ship's fuel tank. It exploded and she had to bank sharply to avoid being struck by the debris. The pirate ship it had been attacking saluted her and she grinned. Talon recognises me then. She turned upwards, rocketing towards another dogfight where five navy craft were attacking one pirate. Even as she watched, they managed to fire straight through the front of his ship and kill him, leaving his craft to spiral out of control. Arianeira moved her ship into his place angrily.

Nonnah put up her shields. She noticed a rather large criuser following. "Err...Relámpago Huelga to Hyperon, Sheilds up and an uknown ship following, wot?" She said over Com.

Anivarah followed closly, not sure weather to leave them alone or to follow. Ani backed off when shields went up, not sure what to do. Scince the smaller craft was in bad shape, she typed to the larger one. This is InkTale. Do you need assistance? She typed on the com.

Cursing, Captain Stratford turned on the external view to look at it. "Sweet Jesus, its a pirate." He laughed, "Must have heard the fun in the Ultra system." Course of action, Captain? "Hmm... Lets put on the second Hyperdrive engine." He replied, then sat down, watching as the blue racing seemed to get faster, as the two engines pushed his speed higher and higher. Destination reached. Exiting Hyperspace. The ship was suddenly flung into real space, "Looks like the Navy just crapped itself," he laughed, watching them attacking pirates a moment, then towing the RH towards the pirate battlelines. Dropping the tow line, a communication opened to the RH. Hyperon to Relámpago Huelga. Destination reached... Wot? He laughed, cutting the comms and watching the ship drift. He scowled as he caught sight of five navy ships on one Pirate ship, "How unhonourable of them," he remarked, spinning the ship, "Fancy a bit more fun?" Affirmative. Weapons and shields at full power. "Right. Put us at a vector to that rather large naval ship there. I'd bet thats their commander. Look, the idiots got the star on it!" He laughed, feeling the vibration of the ships engines as it took them closer. "Target the bridge, then lets have a burst or two of those anti ship cannons, shall we?" Certainly, captain came the slightly excited tone of the computer. There were roaring noises on the ship from the noise, due to the air, but outside nothing would be heard in the cold, airless, space. The shoots reflected from the shield, "Ah. Not that dim. Right, power the Lasers, then a second later, fire more of the 420's. We'll make a gap in his shield."
The laser tore through space, arching at the ship, while the cannon followed. As the laser hit, the shield moved away a moment, in which time the cannon blasts hit through. Captain Stratford flinched as the glass blew out, but made no other movement, "Got them." He watched the other ships moving around in sudden confusion, "They won't want to fight more now."

Arianeira set about attacking the fleet with an uncharacteristic cold fury. Her piloting was excellent - which was more than could be said for her shooting - and the slim build and manoeuvrability of her craft gave her an excellent advantage over the navy vessels. She could attack their shields from almost any direction and hit while they couldn't really attack her without endangering each other. She let off another burst, hitting the ship's main shields. It would be another couple of minutes before the reserve tank cut in and she intended to make use of the advantage.
It was then that the command ship blew up in front of her. She covered her eyes as the heat exploded outwards and sent her craft violently off-course. She grabbed the controls to stop the craft spinning out of control and pulled hard. The craft shuddered but Arianeira adjusted the controls a fraction and the ship moved into a tight upwards turn, bringing her close to her original position.
She paused for a second, looking for the vessel that had shot the Commander. When she spotted it she whistled soundlessly. It was another naval vessel. She frowned. That ship looks familiar.... Then it hit her. The dock. The Hyperon. That was Stratford's ship. But he'd just killed another naval officer. This is far too confusing. She thought, opening a communications link.
This is Skyhawk to Hyperon. She paused, Now what? What she wanted to ask was 'What the devil are you doing here, never mind about blowing up other servicemen?' but it sounded a little ungrateful seeing as he'd just shot down one of their enemies. She sent another burst of cannon fire at a passing naval vessel while waiting for him to reply.

Nonnah Wasn't exactly sure weather to take the 'wot' as a complament or an insult. She also wasn't sure if James was going to kill her of if he was mistaking the destination. As they moved closer, she got up and checked her speeder. It was in almost perfect condition, eccept for a long scratch on the right side on the new painted coat. She swore.
