I know next to nothing about my flute sweatdrop . All I know is I'm incredibly comfortable with it and I'm never going to be able to replace it if anything happens to it.

My flute is an antique french model. My father bought it for my mother (she plays flute) 21 years ago. She has had it for the 21 years. And the best thing about it is that my father bought it at a pawn shop! So we have no idea how old it really is. I heart it though. It would go for aloy of money. At least thats what the instrunment store guy said.

I've played on my intermediate flute for 3 years. I"m so used to playing on it and dealing with it's "quirks" that it is almost difficult for me to play on other flutes.

lolz my flute (called Excalibur) is a open holed gemeinhardt. ive had it since 6th grade. i could't play f# for like eva but i finally got that flippin key fixed. its dented on the head joint from where i smacked a guy in the head with it. it is covered with scratches from my dragon lady nails but is still very shiny. it is da bomb. i love it. and it is all mine ^-^ considering that it has helped me become first chair for the past 3 yrs...it is my pal lol

My flute is Emerson, flatly tuned(I'm a sharp player).Silver from top to bottom, the A flat key needs a new pad, the b-flat key need fixed so it will make the other keys go down all the way.No open holes, wish it had a b-slat foot joint. There a dent right before the copper part of the head joint, the keys need to be shined.
