I've been here for hours and I haven't gotten anything done... How am I ever gonna master this?Calming her mind, a difficult task, she tried again. If she couldn't do this...no...she couldn't think like that. I wont give up...She failed again...

Drowning out all distractions, she syncronized her chakra to the beat of her heart and relaxed. She felt herself slowly begin to sink into the earth. She got all the way to her chin with no resistance, until she stopped dead again. "I almost got it that time..."

(FINALLY!)
Ame got up again. "Alright if I don't make this one, then I'm going for the night..." She focused her chakra again, relaxing her body. She felt her self slipping away intot he earth. She got her head under as well. She started moving around, it was strange. Feeling her way she grabbed ahold of something solid and pulled. She shot her self upwards with this motion and when she reopened her eyes she saw that she'd pulled a sapling under to take her place. Only some of it's top branches showed from the surface. "Yeah,I did it!"

Calming her excitement, she tried again. Her hard work was finally paying off...My chakra is the water, and I am the fish. Forming a Rat seal she drifted once again into the solid ground as if it was water itself. This time she buried an old oak log, covered in moss from age.

After all those crushing failure, I think I'm actually starting to like this jutsu. This'll be more than helpful during the mission. She tried it again. Three times in a row...tht was awsome...but then again...the first is always the hardest. The more yuo do the easier it gets. And the next was easy. With a bit more ease than earlier she bruied another sapling.

Ame was all over the place with this. Instead of trying an old log, or a sapling, she tried a dummy. Since it was closer to a human that anything else...except sensei. She was gonna try him later. Swimming underground again she pulled under the dummy, leaving only its head as sensei did to her and her cell mate on their first day.

Ame dug up the dummy and tried again. Her concentraition broke before she could finish. She looked like she just decapitated herself. Pulling herself out she muttered...Oh well...My lucky streak had to end sometime...

Ame tried again. She knew she was gonna get this one. Sinking benieth the surface she moved around. Feeling for the post that connected to the dummy, she made contact and pulled it down. Opening her eyes again, she found herself standing in front of it. She smiled with relief.

She tried it again. She was quite confident with herself now. Maybe too confident. All she knew was she was sliding down perfectly, and then she got stuck again. Laughing she pulled herself out.

They seemed happy. Everyone always seemed so much more happy than he was. He looked on to the teacher and his teammate with a bit of hatred in his eyes. He looked away and hopped down from the tree.
Maverick moved around to the area with the testing dummies. He found a larger one with several pegs sticking out. This dummy was suppose to be used for speed checks and blocking checks for close range fighting. It also carried enough weight to toughen one up if they needed it. Maverick had found himself ot be pretty well off in close range combat and even better at taking a hit or two before having to fall back and recover. He moved himselve in between the dummies outstretch planks and punched it dead center. He sighed a bit and soon got into a stance. He moved and began to strick at the arms and dodge in the process.
((I'll do a roll. The dummy will have a natural melee bonus of 2 (Like mavericks if I'm not mistaken.) I'll add it to the roll. If it is higher than Mavericks dodge, He takes 1 hp of damage. If it's lower, he dodges the planks and keeps going. So in other words, high rolls are bad))

Maverick started slowly and this was too his advantage. He was able to foresee the moving limbs and dodge them with ease. It wasn't a hard exercise at this point. He moved about the planks and slipped under and over them as he did so. He found the dolls to be a bit uneventful but still good training. He began to move on his feet to try and keep a sense of realisim in his training. He knew he wouldn't stay still in an actual fight, especially if he was doing hand to hand combat. He kept moving around the dummy, predicting where the planks would move and where he needed to strick to get them to move another direction. It was simple body manipulation.

Ame saw Mavric by some of the bigger dummies. W alking over there she tried to ask him a question without getting in his way. "Can you help me with my training? I need to test it on anactual person...please...?"

Maverick moved again just in time for one of the large planks to sail past his body. As he did, he turned to hear a voice. He placed a hand up to look to see who it was. It was Ame. She had asked him for asstance with something. He looked her over for a moment then stepped forward and stood with no restrictions.

Ame smiled with thanks. "Sensei's been teaching me that inner decapitation jutsu...so I wanna test it out. I already know you can get out of it easily." Forming another Rat seal she let her chakra flow around her like the water sensei described it as. As he said, she had to be like a fish. She slid into the earth and drifted around, using her chakra to sense exactly where he was at. Reaching upwards she grabbed his foot and pulled him under. Once again she was standing infront of the target. She smiled. "Yeah, I got it on a real person this time."
