game100guy Qixter told me a few things in this message, it's nothing much, but it's something. He has officially confirmed that at the end of this month there will be news regarding the Battle system, so that's cool.  EDIT:Qixter is one of the developers of the gaia battle system, I thought everyone knew that. Guess not... Ok guys, here is the extended discussion between us, well it wasn't extended, but it adds more to the pic above. Qixter game100guy Qixter game100guy I know that the BS is strictly confidential. Will there be certain things you can do to earn gold on gaia in it? Or will there be currency that is strict to the BS? Also, do you think that the BS is original, and not a rip-off of some other MMORPG's? I hope not, I have high hopes for it. If you can't answer these questions, I'll understand. I can only be vague at this point (until after the end of the month), but here's some answers anyway (okay...vague ones anyway): 1) Yes, you can earn regular Gaia gold in Battle. 2) Answering about originality: Some of the aspects of Battle will be familiar to users (stuff like "kill monster, get loot and xp" as a game mechanism), but there's lots going on that I've never seen in an MMORPG (and I've played most of them, Produced one of them, and helped design two others). Details will have to wait though. I hope you like what we're creating. We'll know soon. smile -- Q. Thanks I appreciate it. biggrin A few more quetions if it isn't too bothersome. I heard that when you walk around the game world in the battle system, it looks exactly like your character walking around in towns, is that true? I was also wondering if your character will look exactly like your character on gaia. O.o I have so many questions, if you can't answer them now, I hope they will be answered at the end of the month. I know you guys are working very hard on this, and I know how impatient us gaians have been for a year or two, I just wanted to say that most of us are appreciative. Yes...and yes. (Your avatar is the same in Battle as everywhere else, and yes, you walk like you do in Towns...mostly for consistency.) I found some more info not much

QIXTER Rings, rings, and more rings... My life revolves around the Battle Matrix and balancing rings against each other. It's the core of how everything works in the game...and it's a bit like creating a Unified Field Theory (in other words...challenging!). But it's coming along well. Hang in there! It won't be long now until we start revealing more info about Battle! -- Q. HE seams to be droping more and more info.

He's making sure that the game is well thought-out and balanced. He's also making sure that everything gets done according to schedule. Also, Kaia9 is back on the Battle system as well. He was helping at the very beginning but has been doing other projects for a while. Now he's back full speed with Battle. Yay!

Is the new Scion Car feature the Meet Up & Rally Rooms layout look amazing! O.O Its like being in the city!
Imaging if in the battle System theres a city environment were you can walk in the ghetto side of town in ally ways and battle with gansta monsters! That would rock! (>.<)
