Lea then remembered the dream she had been having only moments before. She was seeing everything from Axel's point of view, but the vision was blurry... Everything felt really cold, except for the hand that was squeezing theirs. Axel was talking to a boy, telling him about how he loved Roxas... and the boy looked like he was crying or about to cry. The brown haired boy... "The brown haired boy," Lea said, regaining her balance. Max looked confused, "The one we saw in Radiant Garden?" "Yes! He's Sora. The brown haired boy with the blue eyes. The Roxas eyes," She said, not smiling, but almost. She had pointed out a brown haired boy with funny pants to Max while they were staying in Radiant Garden. She had never been able to accurately describe Roxas, but when she saw the brown haired boy, she was able to say Him, only with light hair... and he doesn't smile like that. "Have you ever met Sora, Queen Minnie?" Lea asked, trying to figure out if her idea was right. "I wonder what he's like..."

"Brown haired boy in Radiant Garden... Hmm." Soul muttered to himself. He was thinking if it had taken place in Radiant Garden, perhaps Leon and the others may be able to help him out. Although, last time he was there, they made no mention of him. And back then, it was under the name Hallow Bastion.
Minnie turned to Lea, nodding her head. "Oh yes, I know Sora well. He came here when the castle was under great trouble from Maleficent. She had found a door to the past and almost destroyed the one thing that would have left our castle easily catchable by the hands of Darkness."
Soul fully expected Max to answer this, but he said it instead, beating the Goof to the punch, "The Cornerstone of Light. Merlin told me about it." He explained. Apparently, Soul had learned much from Merlin.
Minnie nodded. "Yes, she planned on taking it away in the past so it could never be used here to keep the castle safe, But Sora, again, with Merlin's Magic, went back and saved the castle."
Soul nodded again, "Sora's everywhere and everywhen." He pointed out, seeing as they always seemed steps behind Sora, cleaning up the remnents while Sora blasted away the threats. Thinking to himself, he wondered the attitude of the boy. They all said he was a kind kid, but Soul wondered how kind a kid can be when he's got the fate of everything on his shoulders.
Minnie turned to Lea once more, to finish her question. "It's been awhile since I last saw Sora, nearly a year now, but my Mickey recently sent him a letter regarding a new situation. I do hope he's alright." She said. "Both of them."

Lea nodded, thinking everything over. She seemed to have calmed down a lot, but inside she was still freaking out a little. Everything seemed to be coming together, for better or worse. She put a hand on Max's arm before moving away from him, to pace the room a bit. On one hand, she had lost Axel, a part of her, but on the other hand... she might meet Roxas... Max looked at Lea for a moment, before turning back to Minnie, eyebrows furrowed, "What situation, Minnie? Is everything alright?" He assumed that everything was not alright... but he had to ask anyway.

The Queen gave a little, unnoticeable shrug and looked away. "I don't know. Mickey is vague with the details, but there is a war going out there, and he has to be right in the middle of it. Even if it's for the betterment of the entire universe, it doesn't sit well with me that he's not here, or that I'm not with him." She said truthfully. Queen Minnie wasn't all daintiness and politics. Underneath all that, she was an adventurer like Mickey, but she had stayed behind to keep tabs at home and keep things under control, but over time, she has been regretting her decision.
Soul tapped his foot impatiently. "I think the path is clear here. Maleficent isn't going to be trying to take the castle over anytime soon, and it's well protected anyway by the Cornerstone. I think we should meet back up with any other Keyblade Warriors are left and get to the heart of the Darkness." He said, as if it was the most obvious path to take that required little to no thought. "'Least, that's what we all should be doing."

Lea stopped pacing and looked back over her shoulder and met eyes with Max. The goof was apparently thinking the same thing that she was, because he looked confused and kind of nervous. "So... um... what ever your name is, exactly WHY is this what we should be doing?" The boy said, raising and eyebrow. Lea turned to face the others, crossing her arms, "And exactly WHO are you to tell us what we should and shouldn't be doing?" "That could be dangerous... deadly. Do you have any plan at all or were you just going to round up a bunch of people and lead them off to their potential doom?" "And it's not exactly like you have the cell phone numbers of all the keyblade warriors. It's not exactly listed in the phone book-" "-have you ever been to the heart of darkne-" "-then there's transportati-" "-putting people in dange-" "-you can't just-" "-it's not like-" After a while of talking at the same time in increasing loud voices, the two stopped and looked at each other and then back at Soul, saying in unison. "This is a bad idea." Max then added, pointing to his chest, "And I know about bad ideas."

"I've met some of the warriors." He said blankly. Then he proceeded to answer their question in order.
"Because the universe will end in Darkness if we don't." "Because I seem so much more informed then either of you two." "The plan is to round up a bunch of people and lead them to their potential doom." "I don't need phone numbers - I need to count on intuition and dumb luck. Worked for me so far." "Yes I have." "I know a guy." "They'll know what they are getting themselves into." "I can ask and let them decide." "What?" "Bad idea or not, I'm heading out. Whether you choose to follow me on a quest to save the universe from the Heartless, this Keyblade Wielder is on his way out." He stopped a moment in thought. "Bad ideas consist of throwing yourself into a dark portal which spews out Heartless while demonic gods of darkness send out Cerberus and Behemoths at you, right?" He finished.

"Team huddle!" Max said, grabbing Lea by the arm and dragging her to the corner of the room, once the two were close enough together and far enough away from Soul to have a private conversation, Max began to speak. "I really don't like this guy..." "Well, neither do I. But-" "Oh, But. How I hate to hear that word come off those lips of yours. I don't even think I want to hear the but." "Well, listen, anyway! We haven't really done any fighting lately, and this could be our shot for some action Mr. I'm-so-bored-all-the-time. So, I say we might as well check it out." "Don't act like this is about me, Lea. You heard the word Keyblade and your eyes lit up. You're still Roxas-hunting." "So what if I am. This could be both of our chances to get what we want." Max sighed, and looked into Lea's green eyes, and brushed a strand of dark auburn hair out of her face. She was smiling, which was rare, and it was a big toothy pleading smile. "Alright, Alright, But if things get really bad-" "-The Goof Troop gets out of there. I know." Her smile got brighter. Max turned around and let Lea have a piggy back ride. This was not an odd occurance for them, because Lea was a lot smaller than Max and didn't run as fast as him. They came back into the center of the room, "Okay, We'll go."

Minnie nodded slighlty. "Hold on, I have someone I want you to take with you." She said, walking out of the room, Soul watched her go, before turning to the others.
He looked slightly confused, something they hadn't seen on his face. Lea might have gotten a little malicious joy out of seeing know-it-all Soul somewhat Dumbstruck. "Uh, can I ask something? Did I come on too strong?" He asked. This seemed totally and completely out of character for the boy they had come to know in the last five minutes, but he looked a bit younger and much less experienced then he had moments before. "I mean, I was trying to look impressive in front of the Queen. Merlin told me to be respectable and hold my ground and all these other rules and statutues and whatever. So uh... What did I sound like? Be honest." He said, scraching the back of his head.
((I may take this time to let you know Soul may or may not have been an actor on stage before Traverse Town was taken by Heartless. Long story, but thanks to the events in KH II, the reaction from Kingdom Hearts was so strong that some of the worlds that had disappeared - returned.
Soul is not some haughty know-it-all, but much like a mix of Super, Sickle, and some fidgety little guy who is normally racked with uncertainty. Call up the actor in him... well, he proves a bit more useful when he is literally 'playing hero'.))

Lea's mouth twisted into a small smile, that she hid in Max's shoulder. He could feel the short breaths of her silent laughter against his neck, but he chose to ignore them. He had the urge to laugh to, but he managed to restrain himself. The new Soul seemed like a little kid, nervous and unsure of himself. "Ummm.... So.... I'm not sure f I follow. You were just acting like a-" "Complete and total a**." Lea lifted her head for a moment to interrupt. Max sighed, "Well, yeah, that. You were acting like a complete a** to impress the Queen?" Lea was laughing into Max's shoulder even harder now, biting her lip so Soul wouldn't hear her. "Listen, guy, I don't know what Merlin told you, But, Queen Minnie... and most other people, like it when people are true with themselves," The goof explained. "And if you were planning on impressing the Queen, you might have tried to not come off sounding like an arrogant jerk... no offense."

"Is that what I sounded like? Seriously?" He asked, scratching the back of his head. "Looks like I'm not the stunning star like mom was." He muttered to himself. "Sorry about acting like an a**. I'm an actor, but not a very good one." He said honestly. "I was just trying to act the part of a Keyblade wielder... All the answers and keeping your head straight, but I have no idea what I'm doing." He said, shrugging a little. He really didn't let anything get to him, so he was becoming more relaxed. "I can't even use my powers here."
((Yes, Soul swears. He got it from his father.))

Lea wasn't really listening but after he finished speaking, she raised her head up and looked at him. "So...... do you really have a plan or was that just an act?" Max was annoyed, but he couldn't do very much while holding Lea on his back, so he just let his anger show in his voice. "It doesn't matter if he has a plan or not. We'll just take the train and do it ourselves." "That would work. The train will take us where we need to go, it always does."

Soul raised his hands in self-defense. "Hold on! I have a... sort of... plan. Getting off the castle is my only problem. My skills don't work here, I tried a second ago, but nothing came. I got here from Merlin's magic..." He said, informing them naturally. "But... Do you have a way off this rock? I think I could be of help-"
"Ready." A voice said as Minnie entered the room. She had degarbed her royal dress and now was decked out in what could only be called 'adventurers suit'. Soul looked flabergasted to say for one person. "I'll be joining you." She said with a finality in her voice that made them all shiver down to the bones.

Max nearly dropped Lea when the queen entered, but he grabbed her lags just in time to keep his balance. "Um... Your Grace, I don't think this is such a good idea... I mean, you're a woman and-" "I'm a woman and you never give me any slack about fighting," Lea pointed out. The boy shook his head, "It's different. You're a girl, but you're not a lady-" "I'm lady like." She cut him off with a sharp tone. "Yeah, not really." "I'm still a woman and you act like you don't even care." "Well, I don't really see you as a woman..." Lea pouted but remained silent.

"No buts, Maximilian." She said. She walked past him to the desk, where she hastily wrote a note for anyone who came by while she was gone. "I've adventured with Mickey and your father before you were born, young man. I don't think I've gotten very rusty, either." She added, as she signed the note and grabbed a small knife, sticking it to the door as she spoke. Soul didn't say anything, watching the events take place. He really didn't know what to do in this turn of events. "Also, Max... Don't let me ever catch you trying to keep someone from doing anything just because their a woman."

"Yeah, Maximillian." Lea nodded, deciding then and there that she liked the queen. She had expected to meet some prissy stuck up person... but Minnie was actually kind of cool. Max's shoulders slumped, "Awww, don't both of you gang up on me, now... hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn-" The girl pulled on her friend's ear, "There you go with the whole woman thing again. Sexist!" "I am not!" "Are, too." Lea said, but made no attempt to get down off of Max's back. She had been having a tiring day and didn't feel like walking or even really dealing with much at all. She felt safe knowing that Max was right there with her, but she couldn't help but feel nervous about their upcoming adventure and what new discoveries it might bring. Just as Max was about to explain that he didn't mean it to be sexist, and he was just worried, there was a loud whistling noise out in the garden. "The train! We should go."
