Serge hit the ground head spinning for a second, clinching his fist he lifted it and slammed it back done, kick up some dust. He couldn't believe he fell for that.
Snapping back to his feet, the he narrowed his eyes back in on Rogue, retaking his starting stance, if only for a second. He rushed her, arm pulling back quickly, before snapping forward to strike at the girls right shoulder with base of his palm, before shifting his weight completely to his left foot as his right pulled up to tuck in tight.
Bending his left leg as he slid on the ball of his left foot, he tensed his leg before pushing up, bringing his knee up, trying to strike at her stomach, attempting to wind her.

She had been caught in shock. An attempt to turn the table she tried to swing a punch at him. She hit the ground. Hard. He had gotten the desired effect as all breath left her, leaving a stinging pain behind, showering her with stabs as she tried to inhale.
Holding her breath as to not continue the assault on herself, she pushed herself up and stood there in a non threatening stance. Her head started to get fuzzy and a cough forced its way through, the tremor caused her to drop to her knees. One hand shifted to hold herself up while her other hand clutched at her shirt collar as if supporting her sharp intake of breath.
While she had had a good run at sparring, she had never had an opponent before, not a serious one. This caused her offense to be above average, but her defense remained at a normal level. The little things affected her just a bit more than they should.
She soon rose to her feet a little too fast for her liking, not that she would let that show, and headed back over to Serge. She wasn't at the top of her game anymore, but she wasn't going to quit. She took her time in pulling her gloves tight before moving to her starting position, awaiting Serge's next move.

Serge was taking in deep breathes through his nose, Rogue's last attack had gotten to him more than he first though.
As it stood, that simple knee attack took him a lot of effort now, which meant most of his more skillful attacks were now useless.
Closing his eyes, he re-centered himself, regaining his focus. In the end his breathing was no better for it, but he at least had a plan now.
Taking a very deep breath and shifting all his weight to his left foot, the blue haired boy began leaning forward, just as it seemed he was going to fall forward to the ground, his right leg swung forward, catching all his weight as he suddenly bent low, pushing off and shooting forward.
Shifting all his weight forward now, his body began flipping as his right hand shot out, acting as his support on the ground as his lower body moved to the above and he began twisting, his legs now swinging like flails.
This was a last ditch attack, if it didn't win it, then he'd be left completely open for being finish. But, it was all he had left at this point.

This... was not what Rogue was expecting. Her stance loosened as she watched him get closer and closer, how was she supposed to defend against this?... Or maybe she wasn't supposed to defend.
She rushed straight at the bluenette, aiming to keep herself as low to the ground as possible. It was a tactic she had observed from Albel over the past few weeks and it had never failed her. Gaining speed with a low level of force against herself. perfect.
Her next movements didn't go perfectly to plan but it still carried on in a manner she found acceptable. She placed both hands firm on the ground and pushed herself to spin and aim her legs to knock away his supporting hand. She closed her eyes and covered them loosely with a free hand as to protect them from any variables that may not be in her favor.
At best, they would both go tumbling to the ground in a draw, and at worst-... Well even if not, she wasn't about to get propeller'd in the face thank you very much.

The battle was over, Serge had gambled, that was more than clear to Heero, but something more was clear, the boy had lost. He watched Rogue's counter to an otherwise well played move, and he had to admit to being impressed with the way they fought, and it was obvious now the Rogue wasn't fully untrained, but she was most certainly not formally trained.
All that aside however, he couldn't help a smirk and a snicker at the outcome.
The two had ended up in what could only be called a compromising position. Rogue sweeping away Serge's hand had worked perfectly to stop the boy's attack, but it ended up placing him right on top of her.
The finally position of the landing had the two's faces mere inches from one another, and though Rogue, with her eyes covered probably wasn't aware, Serge was, and the boy seemed frozen in place, by what, who could say?
And if the whispers of voices he was catching on the wind were right, things would only get better. He was pretty sure the other kids would be here in a matter of seconds.

As soon as she closed her eyes her world began a complicated mess of events which resulted with her on the ground breathing heavy. But something else was at work here... there was someone else breathing too- but it seemed more strained.
Her mind quickly unfogged as she peaked in between her fingers. Her cheeks flushed a light rouge which contrasted with her eyes quite nicely, not that her mind was even close to that topic.
While their faces were close, there was still enough room for Rogue to shift movement. Her hand dropped from her eyes and she propped herself up on her elbows, she was practically nose-to-nose with the blue haired boy when a grin graced her lips.
"So who won?"
This had always been a friendly match for the two, but it still interested her to know. Besides, the chance that she could have beaten Serge awed her. She knew little about this family, but what she could tell is they held pride in their abilities.
She was so focused on Serge that she didn't hear the familiar voices coming closer.

Serge was still motionless, sitting in place, frozen, mind a complete black. What had happened moments before, the whole spar in fact, was nothing but a void in his mind at the moment.
Rogue's question wasn't even heard, it wasn't until an outside voice that was sure to haunt him for the next few months range out that the boy reacted.
"Ah, I told you they were boyfriend and girlfriend!" Glenn's teasing voice rang out as he grinned triumphantly.
Serge's eyes shot wide in shock, and the boy seem to blur as he jumped back, his cheeks turning so red one might have thought them tomatoes.
The boy was stuttering and stammering, obviously completely flustered.
Heero tried not to, he honestly did, but even so, the fox man fell backward, holding his sides and rolling slightly as laughter erupted from him.
He honestly wanted to maintain composure, but the situation was simply to funny to him. Going right from such a serious spar to this, it was just so...comical in his mind.
He'd have to make it up to Serge and Rogue both later, but right now, right now he'd have his laugh, then he'd calm himself, and at least try and set things straight.

Rogue's cheeks quickly flushed red at the comment. She opened her mouth to snap back with a witty retort, and came up short. Fine, if the boys wanted to mock them, all the power to them. At least --
She turned her head to see Heero holding his sides from the amount of laughter he had erupted. Great.
Turning to the girls she paused before shrugging her shoulders. She didn't expect them to be able to do anything, not that anything needed to be done. It was simple jokes and immaturity, Rogue understood that much.
Huffing slightly, she reached out to take Serges hand before spinning and walking out of the clearing. She couldn't sense a lot of brain work underneath his hair at the moment and figured he would appreciate getting out of the situation as much as she.
Minerva stood off by everyone else. It was clear what they had walked in on. Poor Rogue would have to learn better ways to finish off spars unless she intended for them to end up like this. Of course hopefully the older ones would learn to contain themselves more.
She smiled weakly and shook her head, this was going to be a long trip for all three girls.

Hinata sighed, the sound coming out nearly exasperated. She was fairly tempted to strike out at her brothers for they fun making, a very unusual feeling for her.
As much as part of her wanted to though, she simply couldn't do it. The fact her father had broken into laughter at the scene was of course, not helping one bit either...she seriously needed sister...one who wouldn't be so inclined to be kind...
Heero managed, finally, to tame his laughter, and turned to his three remaining children, plus Minerva.
"Though I'm sure its obvious..." The fox man started, most of his attention focused on Riku and Glenn. "You lot just walked in on the end of a sparring match."
Flicking his hand up to stop the obvious rebuttal from Glenn, he went on. "regardless of what it looked like, that was simply an outcome of the final strike. So that means no teasing, from anyone."
Sharpening his eyes a little, and putting on the calmest and coolest face he could, he said the next part with a level of seriousness that made it very clear this was a promise. "If I catch wind of any teasing what so ever, the guilty parties will find themselves off the training roster until we return home, and will then be given the job of cleaning out the store room, got it?"
Heero smirked when he saw the hints of grins that had remained on his sons' faces completely vanish. "Good, glad we're clear on that. Now...Riku, fire wood, Glenn water, Hinata and Minerva food."

As Heero began to speak, a small smile began to form on Minervas face. She wasn't very appreciating of the older mans behaviour, but his words had soon made up for that and her respect for him stayed up where it had started.
Food, food... what was food? Turning to Hinata, she voiced her thoughts. "So what exactly does 'food' entail?" She wasn't all to concerned with anything more than that. Rogue was fine and whatever challenge the girls' would come up against probably wouldn't end up being much of a challenge.

"Um..." Hinata started off quietly. "Normally it means go to the store, but out here...um...you aren't squeamish about the idea of killing animals are you?"
Glenn grumbled as he crossed his arms a half stalked off. Why was he always got stuck with the water fetching?
Riku simply gave a sigh before bowing slight toward his father. He'd lived with the man much longer than his siblings, and understood full well what that meant.
Heero was never an unprepared man. He always had what was needed, or had a way to get it near instantly. So this all could only mean one thing. Someone was about to get tested.

A soft sigh escaped the young girls' lips, "I figured it would be something like this. No, I'm not squeamish, but I don't like it much." Her tone solidified the deal. Food was food and you get it where you can, else you go hungry.
Going after animals, one had to be sharp and stealthy... those were more of Rogue's area of expertise, and while she could always rely on her magic she would prefer not to-- especially in the ways of harming animals. She only hoped she would learn something from this experience, at least.
