Lyrus gave her a strange look and he took the card.
One second she's dark, the next she's giggling. I'd better watch my back, she has faster mood swings than I do.
"Let's go inside, there may be a wait."
((oh, and one more thing, Five Pages! Mith only two active members including myself I'd say that's rather impressive.))

Morgan nodded, forcing down the blush rapidly trying to creep up her neck.
I will not get attached, I will not get attached, I will not get attached, even though he's hot....ack, no! No, no, no, no. I will not get attached, I will not be attracted, nope...

((I could say something about a fifty-three page RP I was in that was only two members, but we were each playing multiple characters. >.< It was interesting.))

(in the RPR, the one main RP I'm in has the most pages out of all the RP's there: 723 as of now, and it's still super active.)
Lyrus stepped inside and found that there was only one couple waiting for a table, when he stepped up to ask for the wait, he was shocked to hear that it was only five minutes.
"It must have cleared out during the whole UFO thing... Oh yes, uh two, and the name is Lyrus. I have a card here.
He held out the card for the man at the desk, who examined it.
"Ah, Yes, Mr. Lyrus Knoll is it? Weatherman?"
"That's me, I left my energy outside so as not to attract too much attention."
"You will be using the Hero credit line then?"
"Yes sir that's correct."
"Very well sir, table or booth?"
Lyrus thought for a moment, then turned to Morgan.
"You pick, I don't care. But a booth will place us in a corner or against a wall, meaning less people will walk by."

Morgan shrugged slightly, crossing her arms. It seemed like she didn't even think about doing it.
"Booth, I think."
Harder to ambush, as well. And further out of view...ack, no no no! Not thinking like that.

"Right, of coarse sir, right this way."
The man handed back the card, picked up two menus, and led them to a booth at the back corner.
"Your waiter will be with you shortly."
Lyrus sat down on the side facing the door... just in case.

Morgan almost grumbled about Lyrus taking the better side, but thought better of it as she sat down.
"You seem pretty well off around here. Does every city treat its heros so well?"

"Well I don't know about most cities but several of them do. Sonic Boom's city has a special way to call him, their tower produces a tone below human hearing that goes for almost a hundred miles outside. If they called him now, he'd still be able to hear it. I've also heard of another town with some special technology. They told us they haven'y patented it but we have to build it ourselves. It's a teleportation technology that links into a bio-moniter equipped by each hero. If they get close to death, they are instantly transported to a hospital and healed instantly. They can then head back into the action if they want. Godfrey Manwell put up a grant for those researching that for here in Torus City. So why did you come here?"

Morgan shrugged, leaning back a bit and turning just enough so she could see the door out of the corner of her eye.
"Because this is where my latest attempt at hitch hiking dumped me out. I've mostly just been looking for something to give me a big enough jolt to wake up the rest of my abilities. I should be able to do much more than I can right now."
She turned away from the door to look at Lyrus.
"Have you heard anything about the previous LeFey's?"

"I have heard some Lore, but Lore changes over the millenia. Last I heard was of an old tale of ancient england, in the time of knights and castles. She stole the sheath of Excalibur from her half-brother, Arthur. I came across that information in my research of the one known as Merlin. in fact I hear the museum will be recieving a new exhibit next week, one containing ancient magical artifacts. I'm sure that it will immensely aid my reserch on that man. It may help you learn a little more about the most famous of the Lefays. I don't know if there were any before her. but she is well known."

Morgan nodded, relaxing slightly.
"She was the first of them. Originally we were designated to protect Avalon and the hiding place of Excalibur's sheath, as well as the sword itself. That task was given to the Lady of the Lake, though, and the LeFey's gave the sheath to her as well. The Morgan after the first grew tired of staying hidden in Avalon and wished to explore the world as it changed. Leaving the protection of the vanished isle, however, drastically changed how each successive LeFey was chosen. There are almost a hundred in every generation that could become a LeFey, but only one is chosen and usually by chance, due to the area the previous LeFey was in when she died. And yes, we live for a very long time. I'm only the thirteenth."
She sighed, looking at him again.
"But yes, it may help me learn more, since I haven't had a chance to attempt a visit to Avalon. Thank you."

Lyrus looked around to see if anyone was listening, lowering his voice as he spoke. "Have you heard of the name by which Avalon once went? it was the very Isle upon which Emrys was born, where he met a hawk, a merlin. Where he grew up. Where he got his name. I have been there once, back when it was the Isle of Fincayra. The lady of the lake did not always live in the lake, she also was born on the Isle."

Morgan leaned forward a bit, lowering her voice to match his.
"I'd heard about the history of the Lady, but I didn't know the other things. I only knew what the scrap of a letter the last Morgan left me said, and that wasn't much. It was mostly burned, along with her body."

Well... At this point. unless I hear from Gin, I must pronounce this thread to be Dead.
I apologise. Unless someone wants to join in, and they can by being in any part of the city, moving, doing their own thing. I will post if someone else joins, but at this point, that seems unlikely.

((Keep in mind, Shade, that Gin too has a life, much like the rest of us. It's possible that school has gobbled her up. She's still in High School I believe, and with school having just started it could still be a little crazy for her. Give her time, and maybe consider PMing her. It never hurts.
