Violet stared at him as if he were insane.
"This place is a test for humans. Greed is a human emotion. Therefore, if we take one of these gems i think there is a good chance we'll get a reaction," she explained slowly, as if she were talking to a child. Before anyone could stop her she plucked a gem straight from the wall. With a sudden rumbling sound the walls started to push inwards, the gems suddenly looking a lot sharper then before. Violet turned to the others.
"Told you so," she said, obviously enjoying herself.

Vanessa looked ahead, and saw an opening, light spilling through it.
"I see the exit! Come on let's go!" Violet began running toward the opening. When she got to it, she saw a valley filled with flowers.
"I've been here before..." Violet declared, nervously.
"Everyone, go back into the white hall. Now! You have no idea what is going to happen. I do. This has happened to me before. Now you two go! I'll try to ward him off!" Vanessa screamed toward the others.
"Please! Listen to me, trust me I know what I'm doing now go!"

Dream stayed rooted to the spot. His teachings were conflicting at the moment: follow the orders of those fate directs you to, and never let those people into harm's way. Eventually, he made a decision.
He jumped down into the white room, making a platform of solid air for himself and the others to stand on. Then he commanded a powerful blast of air to sent the others, including Vanessa, straight through the sapphire corridor, and onto his makeshift platform. He therefore followed the rules. She was out of danger, and he had gone where she wanted him to go. He sat down on the invisible platform, looking as if he was floating in space (which, he reminded himself, was pretty much what he was doing). "So, what was in that room which was so dangerous?"

((woah! Sorry for not posting, guys. I've been studying all day with little break))
In all the bustle, Leila didn't have a chance to reply to the demon's question. And now this human girl was telling them to stay in the narrowing room instead of the safety of the field.
"What are you, crazy?!" she yelled frantically, glancing around as the walls drew closer and closer, the gems gleaming in the light pouring from the field. She took a dash towards the girl, trying to get past her.

Dream looked around him, and realised that Lelia was not there. Did she manage to stay in the other room? Now she was alone in there... Crap.
"I'm going back." He went up to the corridor again to find the walls completely pressed together. Whipping out his Beam Saber, he carved his way through, dumping the debris into the room below.

"In that room are the most powerful demons, and the evilest angels. What'll happen to you if you even see those demons or angels, you'll be evaporated into nothingness. The only reason that I haven't been sucked into nothingness is that I inherited the power to ward off those evil monsters. My mother, my grandmother, and my great-grandmother all had the power. My mother and I are the only ones on this planet that have the power. And trust me, you do NOT want to see what happens when I confront the monsters." Vanessa explained to Dream. Vanessa jumped down to the ground.
"I know the other way out." Vanessa declared. "Follow me." Vanessa walked farther down the corridor. She began muttering numbers to herself, stepping around the corridor.
"Here." Vanessa said. She stomped a foot on the area she had pointed to, and a hole appeared in the ground.
"Come on, through here."

"In a minute." He finished slicing his way through the previous corridor, and grabbed Leila before she could react. He dragged her back through the corridor and back to where they were previously. "There we go... You would have died in there, I couldn't just leave you there."

"Hurry up people! This hole will dissapear if we don't go soon!' Vanessa jumped into the hole. Vanessa moved her hands around in circles, and created a forcefield of air. She threw the forcefield of air like a frisbee toward the other three characters. It flew under them, and dragged them into the hole.
"There we go..." All four of them were now in a room with jagged, blue walls.

Interesting... She can control air as well. He looked around, making sure they were all there. "Okay, then... Now what?"

"Follow me." Vanessa pushe a hand on the wall, and it opened up. They were now outside, on a dirt path.
"Yes! Down this dirt path is the beach we were at before! Let's go!"

Dream hesitated a moment. It wouldn't be the first time that someone he thought was a friend had led him into a trap. Yet... She seemed trustworthy enough. He followed her.

Vanessa ran down the dirt path. Near the end of the road, there were a few trees blocking the way. Vanessa pushed away the branches and slid through the two trees. Thsame oily black waters were in front of her, and she saw the same jagged rocks along the shorline.
"We did it!" Vanessa ran over and hugged Dream. When she realized what she had done, she backed off stunned.
"I... I... Oops!"

He laughed. "Don't worry about it." He looked at the path they had taken. It was rapidly becoming smaller, transforming back into the box they had originally began with. "Well, that was definately a nice way to relieve bordom."

"Very true." Vanessa sat down where the highest waves ended. The waves lapped against her toes, making her toes feel like ice.
"So who was that guy we saw in the rock?"

He lay down on the beach and looked up to the sky. "Just some kid I knew. He had potential, but he wasn't good enough to finish his training as easily as a lot of us did. He's probably still trying to become a Warrior. Or not. It's been almost three years since I saw him." He blinked. "Wait, I'm forgetting about planetary differences in the length of a year. In Earth years, it would be about... 75 years? Yeah, that's about right."
