KuramaNoKoishiKasumiM39 I've only read the first Genbu Kaiden manga, but I think the Fushigi Yugi Suzaku/Seiryuu arc was far more interesting. But does anyone else think that the second part of the FY:SS arc is kinda less interesting? You know, the part of the story where Taka is reborn and Miaka goes into the Universe of the Four gods to retrieve his memories? True! I hate the second part of FY. The plot is so... empty. And it's boring and predictable. And I hate TakaxMiaka fluff.

I can sympathize with any seishi not wanting to fight for Genbu. Seriously, their god is a giant turtle. I used to think Suzaku looked like a freakin' huge chicken, but next to "Gamra" here in Genbu that's nothing.
As far as the TakaxMiaka fluff, I liked the scene where he stood up against Tasuki, but other than that the romance was getting pretty gag-worthy.

Um... Fushigi yugi because i dont know i just like it better but then again Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden is cool too. >< omg I can't decide!!!! Um... I'll say Fushigi Yugi
since I seen the anime and read the mangas. I only read vol.1 of FY Gen bu Kaiden so... Yeah.

GoldInk I just want to know which you guys like better because personally I like Genbu Kaiden much better. The heroine is more responsible and is independent unlike Miaka. I also like the second one better but I would have to say that it isn't quite because of the main character difference. For me, Miaka is more like me than the other girl. But, overall, the story for Genbu Kaiden is better and the characters more like-able. Of course, this is all just my opinion.

I don't remember if I've posted here (and I'm too lazy to look) but I think Genbu Kaiden is just really more interesting. The orignal FY got, like Takiko-Chan said, boring and predictable. So far Genbu hasnt done that for me, and from scans I've seen its no looking like it will get that way.
Plus, of course, I love the art but I understand of course that the art is better because this is later on in Watases career and she has dveloped more skills. 3nodding

Wonder if I have already posted here...? Oh well, I have seen/read Fushigi Yuugi the original and have read the first two FYGK. Though both have good and bad points, at the moment I shall go with Genbu Kaiden because I like the Takiko. Much more aggressive in a way then Miaka. Though I have nothing against her, she just comes off well, childish.
