"There are a few things we still need to restock, like the essences of Water, Flower, Wind, Mist...that sort of thing. It's very pretty, really, to see pure essence in a bottle."Thayet nodded, "Kayna Arcana, that's our shop. It's been in the family for ages.

The mention of carousels made her eyes widen a little. Iliana had never seen a carousel or been or a fair or anything before. She wished now that she could. "It's good that they make you happy," she said, smiling. "Black-petaled fire lily? I haven't... Are they pretty? Are they like other lilies?"
Kadyn blinked at her then his mouth formed an O. He had never seen it done before but Kadyn knew that other faes gathered up such essences for magic and the like. "How do you get those essences?"

"They're amazing. Their petals are darker than midnight and the center looks like a pure flame. I could, erm, pot one for you if you like..." He trailed off, blushing.
"It's different, depending. The ceremonies are unique. Sometimes we sing, or chant, or dance. A flower ceremony is usually closed with a kiss to the petals," Thayet giggled, "It tickles... We taught Rath how to perform the ceremonies. So cute. He always winds up giving this little sneeze...sort of like a kitten."

Though she enjoyed brightly colored flowers, Iliana just couldn't say no to a lily. "Really?" Her eyes lit up as she smiled. "Oh, I'd love that! Lilies are my favorite."
Kadyn laughed a little. "Well, that sounds rather interesting. I've heard of faes doing things like that but I didn't know others could. Could Lily and I watch the ceremonies?"

"Ah. I'm glad. Is that why your brother calls you Lily? It suits you."
Thayet smiled, "We're a bit of an in-between, Wince and I. There's elven blood in there, some fae...it gets hard to keep track. We're not quite sure what Rath is, but...well, he's certainly not human. I wouldn't mind at all if you watched. Rath can be shy about it, but I'm sure he'd be happy to show your sister."

Iliana nodded a little. "That's one reason. It's also just a nickname from my name. My father wanted to name me Lily...but mum liked Iliana better." She liked both names so it didn't bother her either way. "I can call me Lily, if you wanted. It doesn't bother me."
Kadyn glanced over at Rath and looked as his wings. He looked a little demonic but certainly didn't act that way. "Lily has that sort of effect on people. She may be shy herself but she can really get people to open up and be comfortable."

Miyabi gently pulled Momoko into the sweets shop. He looked about the vast display of sweets and sighed happily, smiling softly to her. There are many things here, he said in a low voice as if not to disturb the others. He gently bit on his lip ring as he looked around.

The girl smiled brightly as she looked around, gripping onto the other's hand. Momoko paused, staring at the case of cakes. Those are... she trailed off, staring intently at the case.

Miyabi was currently looking at the cookies, practically drooling before he spotted the cakes Momoko was looking at. He laughed softly before looking to her. You can get whatever you want, I've got plenty of money, he said, patting his vinyl short shorts.

"Lilies for Lily...how appropriate. What else do you like? Gems, knives...? I doubt you share too many likes with Morphine, which is certainly a good thing."
"She sounds wonderful. I like her already," Thayet smiled and cocked her head, drawing a design in the air with her finger, "Look, more customers."

"With Morphine?" Iliana tilted her head a little, curious as to who that was. "Hm..other likes.. Well, gems are pretty to look at but I don't have any. I think I mostly like flowers, sweets, and pretty cloths and such." She blushed at the last part but she was a girl through and through. "How about you? What sort of things do you like?"
Kadyn smiled at her response then glanced up when she mentioned customers. He had gotten rather engrossed in the conversation. "Ah, I'll be right back, Thayet." He then stood and slipped behind the counter in front of Momoko and Miyabi. "Good afternoon. May I help you with your selection?," he asked cheerfully.

The girl practically skipped to the case, leaning over and studying the cakes. That one, she said, pointing to a nicely decorated cake with pink frosting. It looks so pretty.

Do you want a piece? Miyabi asked with a smile before his eyes automatically darted back over to the cookies, his hand still entwined with Momoko's as he stared at the selection. I'm just checking out the cookies, they look delicious! That kind looks like... white chocolate and cranberry? he asked, looking to the man.

Momoko turned back, noticing the other. She blushed slightly and moved back to Miyabi, staying close to him and bowing her head. The girl took Miyabi's hand and held onto it tightly.

"Morphine is a Revived. She and Mute, both. Mute is her cousin, and my best friend. They worked in a hospital together before the shadows killed them. Anyway, Morphine's a little...," he tapped his head with one finger, suggesting mental instability, "Since they caught up with us, she's been trying to give me shots and try wrestling moves out on me. I've never disliked anyone, but I could see myself doing some bad things to the wrestling comissioner..."
Rath, without quite realizing his actions, proceeded to pout, wings fluttering in agitation.
"Um...I don't really know what there is to like outside of my home. But I know I enjoyed carnivals. I also like helping with the shop."
Thayet nodded, and began whistling lowly, considering all the words that rhymed with 'candy'.
