Thona opened an eye slowly as he watched the Boar fall to the ground. Even if he was sleeping, that noise was enough to wake anything close by. The sound, and then the smell of it. His belly growled as he opened the other eye. His muscles ached even more then before. Protesting, wanting him to stay laying down. He slowly stood up.
Though, in pain that he was, he hid it very well. Stretching only slightly, he yawned. "Ready?" He asked with a scratchy voice.

"Yeah, I'm about ready. Feeling any better?" She wrapped her jaws around the boar and tugged it over to him, waiting for the right time to lift it onto his back. "We're not too far from the rest of the pack, about another half a day's worth." She paused and thought to herself if she ever remembered any water near by. She always liked to take a drink after waking up, she also wanted a nice cool dip to help her body snap awake as well. Watching him for a little while longer she readied herself to get the boar lifted and headed out on their way.

Thona nodded, though it was a lie. He was ready for the weight of the boar to get on his back. He could do this. A bit less tired then before, yet still hurt. "I see. " He was rather thirsty still, but nothing that he couldn't live with at the moment. He licked his dried blooded lips.

Akumu lifted the boar onto his back and sat still for a moment to make sure it didn't slide off right after. The night sky was still present which just proved even more that Yin had made it day to play with them. Rolling her eyes and the seemingly immature god, Akumu began walking along side Thona. It was going to be a long day but at least they both knew that it would be over soon anyway.
The forest was quiet as ever, but not as eerie as it had been before. Akumu noticed a couple rabbits and squirrels scrambling about and side glanced a grin at the thought of them still living in the dark forest. She would have logically figured that in such a dark and gloomy place no animals would want to live around here.

Thona took each step as easy as he could once the boar was back on his back. His muscles continued to protest, but he ignored them. He had to. His face stated strong and made him look as if he was refreshed for now. The silence once again had started to bother him. Being alone most the time, he never actually had this problem. But in the company of another it made him want to say something. To brake the long uncomfortable silence.
Though, he had nothing to say. Which, for him was rather strange. Normally you couldn't keep him quiet. Maybe it was the fact he'd just spent a very long time with this female. His tail hung to the ground, just bairly above it to not drag on it. His paws made hardly any sound as he walked. He could hear the scampering of the other creatures but dared not to look at them.
His peridot eyes slightly glowed in the night sky. Though most eyes would glow. The image of another Ulaya came into his mind. The black Ulaya much like himself. Same tail. He didn't know when he'd next meet this fellow. Hoping it wasn't in the next couple of days. He wanted to be fully fit to fight him. They had unfinished business togehter. He grinned at the thought. He could have taken him down easy if he wasn't hunting that rabbit. The other will have no chance with him.
Soon he forgot about the uncomfortable silence. The thaught of how he was going to beat the black Ulaya took care of it. He continued to grin.

Akumu too felt the ackward silence but didn't know what to do to break it. She just walked along side the male Ulaya and looked around the forest to see anything that may be happening about. Giving out a silent sigh she looked back at Thona to see him start to grin. Wondering where it came from she started to feel unsetteled as if he was leaving something out that she may need to know. Akumu didn't like being left out of "the loop" when it came to knowledge that may be important. "So what are you grinning about?" She just had to ask to break the silence, her heart beat was starting to become an annoying sound to listen to.

Thona wasn't much to brag, ok, that was a lie. He loved bragging. He didn't look at the female, just kept walking and smiling. He took a few minutes before replying. "Nothing really. Just waiting to see a Ulaya. I have some unfinished business with him." He simply said.
It was all she needed to know, but if she asked what type of business, he was more then happy to share it with her. Of course, he wasn't going to brag too much. No one liked that, well, why did he care what others liked.
His steps started getting louder. This happened when he wasn't really worried about anyone attacking, but the boar made it very difficualt to walk quietly aswell. His tail was still still as ever. He didn't want to boar to fall off because of moving a bit of his tail.

"Oh." Is all she replied with as they continued to press onward. She figured if he wasn't going to say then she didn't want to bother him with it for everyone has their own stories and purposes that shouldn't be messed with by others. Akumu continued walking in silence, scanning the perimeter as they paced themselves when suddenly her ears shot forward and her gaze stayed fixed. She didn't stop walking or even change her pace and being behind Thona and the wild boar on his back he hadn't noticed her reaction. She continued to stare at the spot for a little while longer as it slowly moved behind them as they walked when she finally looked away, sure that there was nothing to be worried about.
Wanting to get her mind distracted, for it was probably just wondering with boredom, she decided to continue the conversation with Thona as if she didn't see anything. Though her eyes continued to stay wide as she focused on the area around them. "What would you have to do with this other Ulaya?" She managed to squeak out, slightly unnerved by her startle.

Thona hadn't seen anything strange as his head stayed forwards and his eyes just looking in the direction they were going. He hadn't been keeping any eyes opened after awhile, though he shouldn't have ever dropped his guard. It was when you always get close to the place you desire when something just happens to jump at you.
He continued to go as he was, though keeping an eye open every few minutes, still not noticing anything at all. He looked at the female with the corner of his eye, just barely seeing the green of her fur as she spoke. "Oh, I just have to show him up is all." He paused. "He thinks he's all that. Thinks he's stronger them me." He added. He continued to smirk. He wanted to laugh, but he couldn't.
He recalled the night of the fight, they had gotten tired but niether of them were on the ground. It was strange. Thona figured it was because he was more tired then he thaught. Being the same strangth as the other hadn't even crossed his mind. He wouldn't accept it. At least, not yet. One more fight was needed.

Still looking around with her heart racing, Akumu relaxed some more. Must have been my mind playing tricks with me. She reminded herself after about fifteen minutes had gone by. She didn't know what to say to the male, who was now all over his ego. She hadn't ever felt the need to battle anyone and didn't want to come across a time where she would. But being a guardian of the pack she knew it would come one day or another. Letting out a soft sigh she closed her eyes as she walked on, wishing the day would be over already. In the back of her mind she could only think of the blur she saw dart by and tried to remember it more clearly so an image of the creature could solve it's appearance. But all she did was draw a blank which did nothing but irritate her more.
"What is it with males and trying to show dominance?" She blurted out with a confused look on her face. This was such an obvious question with an even more obvious answer but as long as she kept the chatter going and distracting her mind she didn't care either way.

Finally, Thona noticed she was uneasy. He looked about a bit more seriously and was getting back into his state he should have been in before. His grin vanished. Perhaps she saw something that he didn't. He sniffed at the air, but smelled nothing. The wind wasn't blowing in the right way anyhow.
He ignored her comment for a second and scanned the area. Then relaxed a bit, maybe she was just being paranoid. His grin didn't return, and he wasn't as relaxed as he was before. "It's a thing of pride." He said calmly.

"Pride huh?" She sighed out, finally giving up on her memory of the blur. Picking up her pace some she made it so she was shoulder to shoulder with Thona where she felt more comfortable. If anything were to attack she would have been a decent target. "I just don't think pride comes from battle. But I'm not that kind of Ulaya anyway." She shrugged it off, not wanting to start anything with him. She really was a kind hearted Ulaya and was only accepted in the Mwezi pack for being of evil race. She always tried her best to fit in but it never worked so she finally gave up. Her pride was forever lost and it made it harder for her to process the acknowledgement of it once again.

He watched her in the corner of his eye. " It doesn't come from battle. Males like to insault eachother, that's where our pride comes in. Pride leads to battles." He said calmly. "Or at least, that's speaking for myself." He closed his eyes for a second.
"I'm sure there are different things for each male, so I can't speak for the rest of them." His eyes were back on the way they were going. It seemed too easy. Sure, it was hard to actually find this boar, but the way back seemed effortless. He eyed around, there had to be something following them. The meat of the boar was beginning to give off a strong oder.

Akumu could tell that he understood her body language but didn't bother to react to it. She knew that the clearing was shortly up ahead and if anything attacked them the rest of the pack would hear. The night sky shone with only a couple clouds to be accounted for, making it perfectly bright and brisk for them to see anything wandering up to them.
The unnerving feeling that something was watching them over came her but she didn't show her worries. Calmly as she had spoke her words before, Akumu scanned the area again for any sign of life but failed to see anything. Worried that they may have wandered into something more then they would have ever asked for she paced herself, still making sure the boar didn't fall off Thona's back.

Thona went on with a conversation, just to make sure that whatever was close, didn't know that they had noticed. "Aren't some females like that?" He asked stupidly. He didn't think there was any females like that, but he had to keep the conversation going.
"I mean, what would you do if someone insaulted you?" He asked a different question. She would probably say some stupid thing, or maybe she had her own little surprises.
