*yoh ran as fast as he could through the trees, his dragons zipping a few meters ahead, guiding him. Rune followed close behind, dodging tree branches to keep Sadia safe. Suddenly the Elf called over his shoulder*
I can see the forests edge.
Keep running then!
Yes, but where are we going?
ANYWHERE but here!
*The pair pounded on until the came out of the trees onto the hard rocky ground surrounding it. Yoh didnt slow down until he reached a river however, where he finally stopped to look behind them*

By the time the other group had reached the edge of the forest, and the elf the water, Kenki had pierced the fog left behind. He could barely see a foot infront of himself, however that didn't seem to slow him down. The wall however.
The entity within his body tried to warn him, although too late, and Kenki was hurled back severel feet, landing gracfully enough however. It only took him a matter of minutes to find the closest he could get to the wall, before he sat down, legs crossed.
"This could prove a bother. I have no idea how large the wall is, and it could take me days to get around it. I'll have to try and get past it somhow."
Sitting there for now, he contimplated, and tested the wall, tossing stones at various speeds, heights, and angles. He thought perhaps the caster had under estimated his jumping abilities. Unfortunatly though he couldn't hurl the stone high enough that it lobbed over.
It was then he had an idea.
"I wonder how deep The wall is."
Kenki took to his feet and once again, produced the old scroll from his left sleeve. As the parchment unraveled, he then produced another from his right sleave, and let the two scrolls snake around his body.
Kenki then took a deep breath and slowly reached for the kitsune mask covering his right eye. As the closed eye was revealed, his presence almost doubled in intencity, and the scar over his eye started to seep with a golden light.
The fog around him started to whirl around him faintly, and his yukata wavered on its own, disturbed by his aura. He then opened his right eye, and a brilliant golden light flared out, giving the fog bank a gorgeous glow.
His right eye wasn't only different from his left by the colour, but also the shape of the iris. It was the eye of a fox, a sly trickster's eye.
Kenki then raised his arms level with his shoulders, and the golden glow quickly enveloped him. His tail however shone the brightest.
"Ku-shippo" (nine-tails)
As his words echoed hauntingly in a whisper, every character on the two scrolls lit up, and his kitsune tail split with a sound like gun fire. As the glow lessened around him, he now stood transformed. Both his eyes glowing gold brightly, whisker like lines across his cheeks, sharp pointed teeth, and loger sharp nails on both his fingers and toes. though the most apparent change were the nine fox tails slinking about behind him.
Shippo-Kenki then lowered his left arm, and swung the right around to aim an open palm at the ground before him.
"Mirion bure-do" (Million blades)
A section of both parchemts then circled around and stuck to the palm of his hand, a different character on each flaring vibrantly, and the scrolls then rapidly wrapped around Shippo-kenki's forearm, and he made a harsh slashing motion with his finger nails, letting a countless series of golden blade like blasts hurl from the motion at blinding speed.
Shippo-kenki then crouched low in the resulting explosion of dirt and dust, building the strength for a high jump. As he leapt into the air, his eyes became fierce, death staring the section of ground intended as his target, with dialated pupils. He then after huddling his body up together tightly into a ball, threw his arms and legs out, his head back letting out a loud cry, dampered by the secondary sound of a fox cry, shaking the trees with its volume.
An etherial saphire outline formed around him, then blew out, merging together above the tree tops, forming the vague shape of the ancient nine-tails demon.
The monstrosity let out another loud cry, before Shippo-kenki let loose another, yet more intense 'Mirion bure-do'.
The etherial giant then faded, and Shippo-kenki fell into the new crater below, deep, and long enough that he could pass by the wall.
Once on the other side, he replaced the mask over his right eye, and his form returned to normal. He then continued the tracking, useing the 'suterusu hokou' technique that excellerated his pace.

*Rune skidded to a halt short of Yoh as he heard the sound behind him. Setting Sadia down, he crossed his arms and stared away behind them*
I dont like the sound of that.. not one little bit...
*Somewhere inside, the animal part of him cringed at the sound of a fox. That meant death in the old days*
We should get far far far away from here. REALLY far. Something stronger is following us.
*Rune's agitation showed in the way his tail flicked, his hands reflexively taking his spear and tightening on it*

Sadia stood on her own once she was let down onto the ground. She looked up at Rune not sure what kind of monster was tailing them right now, but she could since fear withen him, or something of the sort, which made her a bit nervous as well as anyone would be.

there was a small draft of rushing air blowing past the group as nai came to a halt above them, now caught up. she turned to the aura that was following them and blinked in surprise as it's aura doubled in power for a short time, then returning to what it once was. nai slid off the edge of her staff, pulling it down with her as she fell. a foot before she hit the ground she hovered for a moment and slowly touched down next to the group. nai's eyes narrowed as she heard the sounds, she didnt like what she was hearing one bit. someone obvously picked the hard way to get through her wall, and made it seem rather easy. she glanced at rune, then sadia, then back at the forest. she couldnt get them out of there, not even with her shadowplay. one of them maybe, but not the whole group. she took a couple steps forward, tapping her staff on the ground. "you can go if you want, take the kid. but i'm staying here. if whatever is following us tryed hard enough to get through that barrior, then there must be a good reason. and if i have to fight, then i have to fight" if one would look at her, they would be able to tell that she was not in the slightest bit afraid. either she knew completely what she was doing, or the thought of death did not bother her.

*Rune sighed and looked at Yoh, then Sadia*
.: If I'd been alone... I'd have run... :.
I have a feeling you wont find this fight easy alone miss.
*Rune twirled his spear and stuck it point first in the dirt, hunkering down next to it*
I'll fight too. Maybe we all came together for a reason. maybe this is it. Whatever it is that's following us could be after any one of us. Best to find out now and outnumber it. Is that ok with you Sadia? Or do you want to go somewhere safe?
*Yoh grinned and sat next to Rune, yin running down his arm*
I'll stay too. This could be fun.

She looked around as people seemed to be looking out to the direction of the powerful creature that was following them. She didn't know exactly what thwy were talking about aura. She wasn't taught what that is, she just got a bad feeling that she didn't like what was gonna happen. She looked up at Rune and she shook her head at him while she told him, "I was taught to fight by Master Sin." Which was literally his name.

nai looked over her shoulder at the three of them and nodded. they were all staying...that would mean she wouldnt be able to do some of her more powerful spells if the situation called for it.
"fine then, we all stay. just be careful"
she looked down at sadia and smiled a little. she was so small yet she wanted to fight too. nai was interested what she could do, but mainly hoped she wouldnt have to end up saving her, or anyone else. she sighed softly and turned back to face the oncoming presance
"if it gets really bad, feel free to bail, i'll hold him or her off"

Closer and closer, he grew ever so close now. If the trees weren't between kenki and the group, it'd be easy for some to make him out in the distance by now. He had slowed slightly, no longer useing the 'suterusu hokou' to excellorate himself.
His pace was still however, swift, and he moved like a phantom through the canopy, demonstrating precise athletic abilities superior to the more athleticly accomplished mortals.
Finaly he managed to catch a glimps of the group, waiting for him through the branches and leaves. His movements had been silent up until this point, so much so that even the more developed hears would have difficulty tracking him in deep concentration.
Sitting in the canopy near fifty feet away, and twenty high, he pulled the water satchel from his belt, and moderated a small mouthful, carful not too take in too much, or too little for the estimated effort he'd have to put up.
Staff, spear...hmm. Those two are keen. The other. Mystic.
He then tied the satchel off on his belt, and fused his hands together with selective fingers curled, the others extended, and closed his eyes.
"Please show forgivness for my actions, and accept the fallen with just absolution."
Kenki then opened his left eye narrow, the assassin's eye intent within it, and fell from the branches, and gradually into view, as he descended, hands ready on his katana in the battou-jutsu fashion.
"End song guide me.."
He then seemed to fall into slow motion, his feet inches from the ground.
"suterusu hokou" (stealth walk)
His right sandal then smashed into the ground, both kicking up a massive amount of soil and dead leaves, and beggining the powerful legwork necassary to use the suterusu hokou.
His speed was beyond that of any regular, and even majority of trained mortals, their eyes simply couldn't focus fast enough to capture, and recognise the fluently swift motions. The best most could manage was a breif glimps of vague blurrs (after images). However he had been caught out on occasion by the odd immortal. Vampires and the like, and some other manner of creatures with highly sensitive hearing, or eye sight.
Within the two and a half moments it took to close the distance, Kenki suddenly hit an angle, and somthing un-predicted happened.
A child?!
Sadia had been hidden from his line of sight till this point, he didn't predict the presence of a child, though drew his sword regardless. His figure flickered back into mortal veiw with a thudding step, and a bellow of dust, as he stood meere feet from Rune, sword raised inline and parallel with his left hand, both hands tightly wrapped about the hilt of the rare looking sword.
With the swords kissaki aimed at the Kangarin's adam's apple, he glared at the beast with his left eye, emotion only noticible in his eye. And there he held.
It was now, that the group saw Kenki, and for the first time. Gowned in his ruby yukata, slightly splintered wooden sandles, long silvery hair tied back, and barcode tattooes on his wrists.

*Rune blinked once, his features hardening. His tail gently flicked behind him as he glared at Kenki, seemingly unconcerned about the sword at his throat*
Well, looks like we know who he was after....
*he muttered.*
Who are you and what do you want?
*Rune's spear moved gently in his hands, until the haft ran the length of his arm, the point aimed at Kenki's stomach. Behind him, Yoh's eyes changed colour to gold, a faint orange aura running over him as Yang hissed at Kenki, power building in the Elf's hands. Of Yin, there was no sign.*

Sadia stood still right near Rune, glaring right up at the intruder that came and drew a blade against them. Her bladed tail continuously flicking in various directions while she gave a glare through the pure white eyes that she owned while her three fingered clawed hands flexed and loosened for her to get ready. Small growls could be heard from her throat, that sounded like some kind of monsterous growl from a horror movie.

being that her eyesight was still temperarly out of comission, she followed his aura and the sound of his movements, though they were next to nonexistant. as he drew closer she took a step back, at ready. when he was within ten feet it was his breath and heartbeat, as well as his aura that led her hands. she snapped the winged end of her staff back, baring the trident end at him. the moment he stopped his strike, as did nai, holding the tip at his neck where she felt his heartbeat the strongest, his jungular. she pulled her face into a hard glare as she stood silently, ready to take him down if he made another move.

"I only have business with the beast, the rest of you dont matter to me."
Glaring daggers at the Kangarin, Kenki didn't seem to worry too much about the trident at his neck, nor the elf behind him, staring at the mark of devil on the back of his yukata.
"I would ask you kindly, to take the child away."

If the others mean nothing to you then they are safe and need not go anywhere. You still havent told me what you want. I have never seen you before, nor do I recall ever crossing one of your species. What do you want from me?

Narrowing his eye and dialating his pupil at Rune, Kenki then with a swift movement sheathed his katana and stood straight, feeling the heat of eyes hard on him.
"They aren't, infact. My name is Kenki and all you need know, is that im an assassin, THAT, is my species."
Turning his eye on Sadia, it softening faintly.
"It is my personal beleif that matters of this kind shouldn't involve children in any way. Im here for your hide, beast."
His eye then returned to reticlule over Rune's muzzle.
"If you've an ounce of honour beast, have your freinds take the child, and we will have an honest dual. Blood shed is not for the eyes of children."
