Lol, I guess its all a matter of personal opinion. Alot of christians I know are great people who will accept anybody. But like Irving said, there will always be those who don't exactly practice what they preach.

Eh i just think if there was no religion there would be one less thing people can use as an excuse for violence... and maybe be honest for a start.

As for christians, hey im sure theres plenty of more chill christians like yourself appoloin... ive just had bad experience with them. First guy was a cousin of my friend who happened to be at his house when he was throwing a party. He wouldn't leave me be... something about me making witty insulting come backs just turned him on, it was so ******** gross because thats how i tell people off... i just give them a bit of public humiliation and they leave me alone .. but nope not that one... every time i think he got the message he was right back up in my face. Then somehow he got my number, dont know how... i bet he got it out of my friends phonebook, so now he's calling me... i block the number. A few weeks later i think that did the trick, wrong was I, one day i get an i.m... guess who. I blocked that sn instantly and a few more that he created or just had to begin with to i.m me. So yeah sorry i dont have a friendly disposition of christian people.

Lets stop this religion talk before it gets out of hand, mkay? I have no problem with people talking about religions or expressing annoyance with how some people of a religioon behave, but I've seen too many threads and such talking about this turn into arguments of the biggotry kind on various forums to even give this the chance to.

And I suppose the movie made you think the last samurai was a white man too. confused Samurai were for the most part noble, but the were honorable to the point of semi-ignorance... If their lord were to ask it, they would perform seppuku by stabbing themselves htrough the chest with a katana or wakizashi wrapped in silk so their blood wouldn't stein the floor, often without hesitation.

Also, despite anime, most samurai didn't live long... The most famous, tallest, and arguably greatest samurai to live was a 5'9" man named Miyamoto Musashi. He was undefeated and managed to survive a 3-day long battle in a war, various other wars, and god only knows how many duels...

Quote:
In 1612, Musashi defeated the noted master swordsman Sasaki Kojiro in one of his most famous duels. It is said that he once again arrived late, and that he fought armed with a bokken he had carved from an oar on his way to the duel, while Kojiro used a real sword. He mocked Kojiro when the older man threw away his scabbard, remarking that he would not need it again. According to accounts of the fight, the two men struck hard at each other's heads, and while Kojiro's blade cut through Musashi's headband, Musashi struck faster, and the impromptu bokken split Kojiro's skull before he could complete his blow. After this duel, Musashi rarely fought anyone using a real sword. One account has him defeating a swordsman simply by guarding himself with a tessen (an iron defensive fan) until his opponent became tired and submitted.

Very few of my fun facts are amusing, most are actual facts... Like one pointing out the truth behind Vlad Tepes, or one pointing out how in many ways a xenomorph infestation is more dangerous that a zombie one. There was also one about the three mythological basilisk varieties and the real lizards with the same name, then there was a more comedy-ish one pointing out how in Godzilla VS Mechagodzilla 2 it was revealed Godzilla had a second brain controling his lower body located where his hemipenes would beif he were a lizard.

EDIT: Well, they're ALL true facts... Just most are entirely serious, I just hired a friend from Cali to quickly throw that picture of Adam eyeing a sheep together for a bit of comedy relief with this one though...

Actualy i enjoy true facts that happen to be funny or ironic alot more then stupid jokes. Theres something way more interesting in the hypocrisies of everyday stupidity sprouting from people. 3nodding

and i so <3 your friends talent for drawing cuteness despite the nature of its content!

I thought that one about Dracula was informative. As for this thing on samurais, it was just a film, a good one, but I'm sure not a real story right? Just saying my thing on religion, I'm a catholic, but I don't agree with some things, like no same sex couples and sex out of wedlock (who would?!). As for this guy who was bothering you DD16, just cause he's christian doesn't change who he is. I once went with my friend to a meeting of his local sea cadets, just to try it out. At first not many people liked me as one of their members was harassed by a scout, which I am. However the fact that he's a scout may have had nothing to do with it, thats just him. Wouldn't matter if he wasn't at scouts, he would have done it anyway, and if it was due to that, he must belong to a bad scout group.
